The OMR score ranks software within a category based on the average ratings, the amount of reviews collected and published in the category and its recency while having a focus on the average rating itself. The more ratings have been collected with a certain average, the likelier it is for customers to see the value of a software. A higher amount of reviews, increases the statistic significance and decreases the weight of the amount of reviews.
