What I really like about fulfillmenttools is how well it supports the expectations of a luxury brand. It does not just process orders in the background, it helps ensure that every order is fulfilled in a way that reflects a premium experience.
A key highlight for me is the combination of a strong, intelligent backend with easy-to-use frontends. The system handles complex logic such as routing and inventory decisions centrally, while the interfaces used by store teams remain intuitive and straightforward. This makes it much easier for employees in boutiques to work efficiently without needing to understand the technical complexity behind it.
The real time visibility of inventory across all locations is another big plus. In a luxury setup with limited, high value items, having full transparency builds trust and allows for reliable promises to customers.

Offers a complete fulfillment system. I like the static safety stock rules and delayed replenishment signals. Contact persons are solution oriented which helps in with technical support and advice. It is a digital platform with up-to-date and historical data on performance and pleasant collaboration for sustainable growth. Brings a good connection within fulfillment operations with AI-driven decision making. The platform has an accurate view of inventory across our entire network driving smarter fulfillment decisions and accurate delivery.

fulfillmenttools solved our major problems especially with out of stock detection capabilities. This has been our major challenge with other tools but fulfillmenttools has chipped in to sort it out. It has continuously improved decisions across our network.

We have realized a greater understanding of what happens in our operations. AI features is helpful in executing decisions across our network. Order management, order picking, we didn't need to assign any extra staff to handle the logistics of the projects.

Besonders überzeugt hat uns die Operations App: Sie ist intuitiv bedienbar und trotzdem erstaunlich flexibel, wenn es darum geht, spezifische Anforderungen abzubilden. Man merkt, dass da echtes Praxiswissen eingeflossen ist. Dazu kommt das Eventing-System, das sich wirklich angenehm in bestehende Systemlandschaften integrieren lässt. Events können einfach konsumiert und direkt weiterverarbeitet werden, ohne dass man großen Integrationsaufwand betreiben muss. Und last but not least: die Zusammenarbeit mit dem fulfillmenttools-Team war durchweg angenehm. Lösungsorientiert, unkompliziert und auf Augenhöhe.

Gerade am Anfang ist die Lösung durch die vielen Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten etwas komplex und man muss sich erst einarbeiten, um die richtigen Einstellungen zu finden. Hat man sich jedoch einmal damit vertraut gemacht, wird die Bedienung deutlich einfacher und nachvollziehbarer.

Im Kern haben wir fulfillmenttools als Basis für unser Store-Based Fulfillment eingesetzt. Die Operations App hat uns dabei geholfen, Picking, Packing und die Übergabe von Bestellungen in unseren Filialen zu strukturieren und zu digitalisieren, bevor die Ware von Wolt abgeholt wurde. Ergänzend dazu haben wir das Eventing genutzt, um Kunden in Echtzeit über den Status ihrer Bestellung zu informieren. Auch die Anbindung an die Wolt-Schnittstelle lief darüber reibungslos. Fulfillmenttools hat uns damit eine solide, skalierbare Grundlage für das gesamte Store-Based Fulfillment gegeben. Da wir das Liefergeschäft aus strategischen Gründen eingestellt hat, arbeiten wir heute nicht mehr zusammen. Aber die Erfahrung mit Produkt und Team war durchweg positiv.

The flexibility and strength of the backend also mean that some topics are not managed directly through the frontend. Certain adjustments or more advanced configurations need to be handled via API. In our case, this is not a major issue because we have in-house developers, so these adjustments can be implemented quite smoothly. But it is something to be aware of, especially if you rely entirely on business users without technical support.
Beyond that, the strategic flexibility requires clear governance on our side. With many brands and markets involved, alignment becomes critical to ensure that the system is used consistently and effectively.

Gerade aus operativer Sicht ist es ein großer Vorteil, dass sich das System ohne großen Schulungsaufwand in den Stores einsetzen lässt. Die Kombination aus leicht verständlichen Apps und einem übersichtlichen Backoffice sorgt dafür, dass Mitarbeitende sehr schnell damit arbeiten können – auch parallel zu ihren täglichen Aufgaben im Verkauf.
Besonders positiv finde ich auch die Mehrsprachigkeit, die den internationalen Rollout deutlich erleichtert und Reibungsverluste minimiert. Dadurch lässt sich das System problemlos in verschiedenen Ländern einsetzen und skalieren.

Seit wir mit FFT zusammenarbeiten, erleben wir die Lösung nicht als „fertiges Produkt“, das wir nur konfigurieren dürfen, sondern als partnerschaftlich geführtes Omnichannel-Projekt. FFT hat sehr früh verstanden, dass wir als mittelständisches, wachsendes Unternehmen andere Anforderungen haben als ein internationaler Konzern: Unsere Systemlandschaft verändert sich schneller, wir müssen Kosten und Nutzen enger führen und wir brauchen Funktionen oft inkrementell statt „Big Bang“. Genau darauf ist FFT eingegangen.
Besonders positiv war die enge, kundenorientierte Zusammenarbeit: Anforderungen aus Commerce, Retail und Logistik wurden nicht nur aufgenommen, sondern in fachliche Routings übersetzt, die unserem tatsächlichen Geschäftsmodell entsprechen. Wenn sich Prioritäten verschoben haben – etwa weil wir einzelne Prozesse vereinfachen oder einen neuen Fulfillmentweg testen wollten –, war FFT flexibel genug, die Regelwerke im DOMS entsprechend anzupassen. Diese Bereitschaft, sich an unsere Architektur- und Prozessziele anzulehnen statt umgekehrt, war für uns ein klarer Mehrwert.
Unterm Strich können wir sagen: FFT hat uns nicht nur ein DOMS bereitgestellt, sondern uns in allen Vorhaben zu 100 Prozent unterstützt – fachlich, technisch und in der Umsetzungsgeschwindigkeit.

Bestandsmodell vereinfachen: Wir hatten Redundanzen zwischen ERP-Bestand und DOMS-Sicht;
Überschneidungen mit Commerce/POS reduzieren: Einige Funktionen waren doppelt vorhanden (C&C, einfache Routing-Logik); hier wäre eine klarere Rollenbeschreibung „Was macht DOMS, was macht der Kanal?“ hilfreich.
Reporting/Monitoring integrierter gestalten: Wir mussten Statusdaten für BI/Fabric passend aufbereiten; ein standardisiertes, exportfähiges Operations-Reporting hätte den Aufwand gesenkt.
Regelwerk pflegeleichter machen: Die Flexibilität war hoch, aber die Pflege komplexer Routing-Regeln erfordert aktuell zu viel Spezialwissen; mehr UI-Unterstützung und Simulationen würden Fehler und Abstimmungen reduzieren.

FFT hat unser Zielbild „schlanke Kernsysteme, Omnichannel in einer dedizierten Schicht“ nicht nur akzeptiert, sondern aktiv unterstützt.
Anpassungen an veränderte Betriebsmodelle (z. B. stärkerer Einsatz von Stores als Bestandsquelle oder andere Prioritäten zwischen Lager und externem Fulfillment) wurden schnell möglich gemacht.
Auch Vorhaben, die wir noch nicht flächendeckend ausgerollt haben (z. B. vollständig geführtes In-Store-Fulfillment), wurden von FFT so vorbereitet, dass wir sie jederzeit aktivieren können. Allein diese Option erhöht unsere Zukunftsfähigkeit.
In Abstimmungen war FFT durchgängig lösungsorientiert und hat uns nicht in eine starre Standard-Logik gedrängt.

Die Lieferzusage im Checkout ist einer der kritischsten Momente der Customer Journey, gerade bei Frischware wie Sträußen. Mit fulfillmenttools können wir Kunden heute Wunschlieferdaten von bis zu 28 Tagen verlässlich anzeigen, direkt im Shop und in Echtzeit. Das System berücksichtigt dabei automatisch Feiertage, Öffnungszeiten und Lieferzeiten, das klingt selbstverständlich, hat uns aber früher viel manuellen Aufwand gekostet. Was mir im Tagesgeschäft besonders hilft: Neue Routing-Regeln für neue Länder oder Produktkategorien lassen sich ohne Programmieraufwand anlegen. Standard- und individuell konfigurierbare Regeln kombinieren wir je nach Lieferort und Produkttyp, das spart uns intern enorm viel Zeit und Abstimmungsaufwand, die wir vorher schlicht nicht hatten. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich auch die Zusammenarbeit mit dem fft-Team: Der Support ist reaktionsschnell, lösungsorientiert und man merkt, dass die Kollegen echtes Prozessverständnis mitbringen.

Erweiterte Exportfunktionen als CSV sind nur in Teilen verfügbar und flexiblere Filtermöglichkeiten in manchen Tabellenansichten im Backoffice sind aktuell noch nicht vollständig verfügbar. Beides ist geplant aber aktuell noch nicht verfügbar.

Unser größtes Problem war, Kundenwünsche zu Lieferterminen zuverlässig zu treffen, ohne dabei Under- oder Overselling zu riskieren. fft gibt uns die Kontrolle über Verfügbarkeiten und Routing-Entscheidungen, die wir dafür brauchen. Und wenn sich Anforderungen ändern, etwa neue Sortimentsbereiche oder Lieferregionen, können wir das heute selbst konfigurieren, ohne jedes Mal einen Entwickler einzuschalten. Das macht uns deutlich skalierbarer als zuvor.

Als mein Team und ich fulfillmenttools zum ersten Mal nutzten, hatten wir mit der Bestandsverfolgung und Fehlern bei der Auftragserfüllung zu kämpfen. Die Verwaltung der Aktien über mehrere Vertriebskanäle hinweg fühlte sich wie ein Albtraum an. Nach der Umstellung auf fulfillmenttools änderte sich das dramatisch. Die Bestandsverfolgung in Echtzeit half uns, über die Lagerbestände auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben, und das automatisierte Kommissionier- und Verpackungssystem reduzierte Fehler erheblich. Sie sind erschwinglich, zuverlässig und einfach das Beste, was sie sein können.

These guys are absolutely phenomenal. They made our fulfillment an absolute breeze. They make my life so easy, never had a complaint, shipments always out promptly, no headache, no hassle. Also, our customers have been very pleased too. They get their orders very quickly and so far using fulfillmenttools has been great! I should have made a switch a long time ago. They're basically fast, affordable and accessible. Most importantly, with fulfillment out of my way, I am able to spend all of my time on the most important part of the business - the product themselves. I don't know how we would run without them. It has professionalized our shipping process tremendously.
What did you not like?
fulfillmenttools is already a great company and the integration with our systems takes their service to the next level. Einfache Auftragsverwaltung und super einfach zu bedienende Versandsoftware, die barcodebereit ist. Alles ist gebaut. Und enge Integration mit Shopify. Keine andere Software ist so fest in Shopify integriert. Ich schätze, dass ständig an neuen Features gearbeitet wird, um das Angebot zu verbessern. Ich habe nicht viel Negatives über fulfillmenttools zu sagen. Mir fällt bisher nur ein, dass wir mit einer Android App zum Packen verhindert hätten, ein neues iPad erwerben zu müssen.

Our team was able to navigate switching to fulfillmenttools in 2 days with very little hiccups, with the help of an extremely committed support team. Their picking times, order accuracy and client visibility is impressive. I appreciate how simple and organized it is, making it easy to navigate, which is crucial in a high-paced industry. The scan-based quality control logic, such as scan to receive, scan to slot, scan to pick and scan to pack, keeps inventory highly accurate.
What did you not like?
The system is for the most part pretty quick. With our previous tool, we experienced lags in functions around receiving and put away, but generally with fulfillmenttools the issue seems to have been solved. It is fast and excellent.

I like the team and their responsiveness, feels like they work 24/7. Moreover, their fulfillment speed is almost instant, their pricing is incredibly competitive and their custom platform is very easy to use. This way, the combination of fast support, fast fulfillment and constant optimization makes working with fulfillmenttools an absolute pleasure. I also find value in their consistency.
What did you not like?
There isn't much to dislike. Occasionally there might be minor delays during peak periods, but the team always communicates clearly and resolves issues quickly.
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Nicht viele. Die Kernfunktionen sind hervorragend. Ich würde lediglich anmerken, dass einige Dinge auf ihrer Plattform benutzerfreundlicher sein könnten, aber der Support ist immer sofort zur Stelle, sodass das überhaupt kein Problem darstellt.
