What did you like?

Luigi’s Box gives us much better control over onsite search and product discovery. The redirects, synonyms and related category tools are especially useful because they help customers find the right products even when they search using different wording, abbreviations or part numbers. The reporting is also helpful for spotting poor search results and fixing them quickly, so it supports ongoing website improvements rather than just being a one-off tool.

What did you not like?

Some areas can take a little time to set up properly, especially when managing larger numbers of redirects, synonyms and product relationships. On top of the product itself, the customer service and account management have been excellent. Our account manager is proactive, responsive and always willing to help. I genuinely wouldn't want to go back to using a native ecommerce search solution.

What did you not like?

The main area I'd like to see improved is the reporting and analytics. We haven't found it reliable enough to use as our primary source of reporting, so we tend to rely on other analytics platforms instead. More robust reporting and greater confidence in the data would make an already excellent product even better.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We have a large catalogue of technical spare parts, so helping customers quickly find the correct product is critical. Luigi's Box has significantly improved the relevance and speed of our on-site search, reducing the frustration of customers not finding what they need. What did you like?

Luigi's Box immediately impressed us with its easy setup, rich configuration options and helpful technical support. It was no problem to adapt the system to our requirements, including individual customisation. We also greatly appreciate the detailed search statistics. Above all, we are happy for that our customers have an excellent search engine, and we have seen an increase in conversions and orders as a result. After an extended period of use, I can confirm the high quality of the service and particularly appreciate the quick response of the technical support whenever changes are required on our side. I am also very pleased that we have not experienced any service outages so far.

What did you not like?

It is quite difficult to find any shortcomings as we are not missing any essential feature. It might be interesting to have a choice of several templates with different design elements, although it's not a problem to customize anything using css. It would be also great if the output html code could be edited directly in the administration, but that's not a problem for their willing tech support.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Sophisticated search engine with many features and excellent optimization. The whispering works perfectly, it can even handle typos and allows our customers to find the product they are looking for very quickly. Detailed usage statistics allow us to further adjust our product range according to the current customer interest and reveal our product gaps. Connecting to our e-shop works seamlessly, reactions to changes in the XML feed are snappy and an instant refresh can be made, which is useful when we want, for example, large price changes to appear immediately.

Produkte lassen sich viel gezielter finden, die Suchergebnisse wirken relevanter und wir merken, dass Kunden schneller zum Ziel kommen. Die Umstellung war insgesamt unkompliziert und die ersten positiven Effekte waren relativ schnell sichtbar.

Bei der Auswertung einzelner Funktionen gibt es noch Luft nach oben. Ein konkretes Beispiel: Die Performance von Bannern innerhalb der Suchergebnisse lässt sich aktuell nicht so granular analysieren, wie wir es uns wünschen würden. Kein K.O.-Kriterium, aber für ein Tool auf diesem Level wären tiefere Reporting-Möglichkeiten in diesen Bereichen ein echter Mehrwert.

What did you like?

It understands customer typos perfectly or when the customer writes what they are looking for under a different name, luigisbox finds out exactly what the person is looking for and needs. This is very important in our segment. We also like clear statistics and data that we can pull out and based on that see what can be improved.

What did you not like?

It's not even something I should have criticized, I can imagine that for smaller e-shops with a smaller budget it can be more expensive, of course the return and real results will come and it will pay its price. We are very satisfied.

Search and recommender function is really fast for our customers. Also from our side, it provides useful statistics and insights. We can see trends and missed opportunities. Analytics section is well designed and detailed.

What did you not like?

Customisation took a while to figure out and some settings require manual setup, especially section with feeds was a bit confusing. Also admin panel could use some UI clean up. Otherwise no issues.

It integrates easily with Shoptet; while working with the tool requires some time, its complexity is outstanding.It also gives clear, data-based insights, so decisions about campaigns or assortment don’t have to rely only on intuition. I like that I can quickly spot rising trends or declining interest and react earlier than competitors. Over time, it helps build a better understanding of customer behavior, which makes planning promotions and stock much easier.

For very small eshops, it may seem expensive, but the money will be returned very quickly in conversions.It can take som time to fully understand all the features at the beginning. Also, to get the best result tool needs regular monitoring and active work with the data

I like Luigi's Box because it works :) After implementation, the improvement was visible very quickly. Thanks to the easy administration, it’s very simple to fine-tune details, and the statistics make it possible to address remaining shortcomings quickly and efficiently.

What did you not like?

Sometimes I don’t like the administration because it’s very detailed and I don’t know it completely, so I can’t use the system to its full potential. I will keep working on it and learning.

What did you like?

The best thing which I liked about Luigi's AI box app is that the search is very powerful, eg ours is Electronics store, if a user searches table, then he will be able to see all the things which can be kept on table

What did you not like?

The thing which I disliked the most is that the customization for search layout is limited only

When Luigi's box was not installed on our store, it was very difficult to search for the particular product, but after it was installed it has become really easy for customers to search for the products

What did you like?

After three years, we can say that Luigi's Box is not just a search engine, but a full-fledged tool for increasing sales and improving UX. We look at many things differently than before. The number of zero results and frustration when searching has decreased. Our order completion rate has increased. Older review: A simple and very important application for the growth of e-shops. Significantly improved search with Autocomplete. Setting synonyms for different product names = 1 same product. Thanks to the implementation of Luigi's Box, we understand more about customer behaviour. Liugi´s Box team is always willing to help.

What did you not like?

The Luigi's Box team is always helpful. Older review: So far we have not encountered a more serious problem. Everything we have needed has been solved by ourselves or with the support of the Luigi's Box team.

Luigibox has improved our on site search performance. The integrations was smooth. What I appreciate most is the dashboard- it doesnt just show data it tells us exactly where we are losing customers and how to fix it.

Higher cost - while the tool deliveres value, it remains on the pricier side for small businesses

What did you like?

Search finally “understands people” – typos, different word shapes, diacritics/without diacritics… This is exactly the type of problem that shows you every day how many customers are searching “somehow” and the e-shop couldn’t answer them before. Synonyms and “e-shop reality” – when someone writes, for example, vitamin C serum and another searches for ascorbic acid or C-cream for the skin, it’s great that it can be worked with and you don’t have to solve it manually through categories and names. Autocomplete and suggestions while typing – it seems like a detail, but in practice it’s a huge help. Less frustrated exits, more “aha, this is what I actually wanted”. Reports also make sense to people outside of IT – I like that we can see what is being searched for, what we don’t have, what people are clicking on, and from that make decisions for content and purchases (new products, additions to the range, editing names).

What did you not like?

It takes time to fine-tune. The first days/weeks are about setting things up: synonyms, brand preferences, rules for “top” products, what to boost and what to hide. It’s not “turn it on and go to sleep”. Customizations in the UI can hit limits. If you want it to look exactly like the brand and have specific UX ideas, sometimes you just can’t do without a developer. The price can increase with scale. When the e-shop grows (traffic, number of products, more modules), you need to remember that it is not a one-time investment, but rather a “living” expense.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Luigi’s Box has helped us make the e-shop more “helpful”. Less blind searching, fewer “it didn’t find anything” moments, more situations where the customer quickly finds what they need. And for us, it’s a bonus that we can also extract practical insights into the assortment and content from it.

What did you like?

Fast, relevant onsite search + autocomplete (good typo tolerance) and genuinely useful analytics for spotting “no results” and improving merchandising. Also, support is responsive and practical.

What did you not like?

To get “perfect” relevance and a fully custom UX you still need technical effort/time, and pricing can become a bigger consideration as you scale features and usage.

What did you like?

We have been using Luigi's Box for several years now and I must say that we are very satisfied. It helps customers with their searches and shows us in the administration where we can still help customers, what they are looking for, what they have not found with us and thus we can also think about expanding the range. The analysis is really great, as is the possibility of redirecting search terms. We are really very satisfied and recommend Luigi's Box to others.

It does a great job of guessing typos or related files, and the product filtering in the left bar works well too. Plus, it has improved the look of our search engine, which now looks more comprehensive and targeted.

What did you not like?

There is non, we didnt like the recommender on our title site, but perfect costumers support fixed it in like 10 minutes. / so nothing we would dislike. :)

What did you like?

Integration was surprisingly painless. I expected more hassle, but almost everything went pretty smoothly without endless debugging. The docs are well structured and informative, and in the places where we did meet obstacles, the support team was there for us. Also, the stability is solid — even on heavy-traffic days, the API kept working fine with no downtime.

What did you not like?

Catalog browser feels a bit limited when trying out queries or search tweaks. Recommenders configuration was confusing at the start, not as straightforward as the rest of the integration

We switched from our old search engine because results were often off and it was hard to maintain. Luigi’s Box gives much better relevance and helped improve product discovery for users

The search engine on the website, powered by Luigi's Box, fully meets all expectations. It works quickly, without crashes, and, above all, has a lot of tools that allow you to tailor search results to your marketing strategy. In addition, non-standard requests were handled by technical support. For example, we needed to present different results on the women's and men's landing pages, and we got it.

What did you not like?

It would be useful to combine this with Marketing Automation tools, e.g., displaying results for monitored contacts depending on assigned customer segmentation.

What did you like?

Luigi’s Box improved our store’s search and made navigation much easier for customers. I really appreciate the intuitive search and simple navigation. Customers can quickly find the products they need, which saves time and increases satisfaction. The interface is clear, easy to use, and offers good customization options. Great technical support as well. Implementation was easy - fully handled by Luigi's box team, with even a few rounds of feedback implemented. All customers visiting our website therefore get improved search 24/7, and we get the necessary data in exchange, which we can consider in our monthly&quarterly reviews.

What did you not like?

Not much, the product is great as-is, and the support is great. It's battle-tested, and I don't see much faults at the moment.

Easy implementation at the beginning, improved search results thanks to Luigisbox recommendations, recommender in multiple places on the site, very simple and clear admin, automated processes, just follow the easy-to-read data, no need to interfere with automation

More use of AI, machine learning is slowly replacing AI, but the process needs to be accelerated.

We had a problem with recommended products when searching for customers, LuigisBox solved it by personalizing each customer. Furthermore, product recommendations in the product details and in the shopping cart, where we needed to recommend similar products. When purchasing a pool, we wanted to recommend accessories, spare parts, or chemicals, and LuigisBox was able to automate everything.

LB lets you focus on the business part, while doing the ordinary (boring) search settings that help you boost sales and customer engagement

What did you not like?

I would probably get lost easily at first, if I was not backed up by great customer support. But when they show you the system, you suddenly feel at home. Then you see it really is intuitive.

We have many products that usually work synonym-wise, but our search did not work well with synonyms a typos. LB solves both problems at once in an elegant way.
