Seitdem wir awork nutzen, läuft alles über eine Plattform: Aufgabenverteilung, Zeitplanung, Teamkoordination und sogar die Dokumentation von Arbeitszeiten.

Unsere Ehrenamtlichen sind Gold wert. Aber: auch viele, mit vielen Fragen und Terminen. Wir haben für sie in awork ein eigenes Projektboard erstellt, mit Aufgaben wie Einführung organisieren, Schichtplan aktualisieren oder Feedbackgespräch führen. Durch die Kommentarfunktion bleibt alles transparent, ohne dass wir 15 E-Mails pro Thema verschicken müssen. Auch unsere Insta-Posts und Presse-Aktionen werden in awork geplant. Wir haben dafür ein kreatives Board mit Ideen, Zuständigkeiten, Fristen und eine Verknüpfung mit Slack. So schieben wir Posts nicht nur hin und her, sondern feiern auch in Echtzeit, wenn etwas live geht.

Die App funktioniert, aber fühlt sich manchmal ein bisschen wie der kleine Bruder der Web-Version an. Für unterwegs reicht’s, aber wir wünschen uns noch etwas mehr Liebe fürs Detail. Wenn man wirklich tief in Aufgabenarchiven graben will, braucht’s etwas Geduld oder ein besseres Gedächtnis. Klar, Integration mit Slack und Co. geht, aber ein bisschen mehr internes Messaging direkt im Tool wäre manchmal praktisch, vor allem wenn jemand gerade nicht auf Slack ist.

Als gemeinnütziges Team mit Hauptamtlichen, Ehrenamtlichen und Partnern aus ganz Hamburg und darüber hinaus, war unser Orga-Setup vorher ehrlich gesagt sagen wir mal organisch-chaotisch. Excel-Tabellen, Google Docs, WhatsApp-Gruppen, „ich dachte, du machst das?!“-Gespräche. Das ging irgendwann einfach nicht mehr klar. Besonders nicht, wenn der Duschbus gleichzeitig fahren, gewartet und betreut werden soll, neue Förderanträge anstehen, Presseanfragen reinkommen und das Ehrenamts-Team koordiniert werden muss. Wir brauchten ein Tool, das uns nicht noch mehr Arbeit macht, sondern Struktur reinbringt ohne unsere Seele zu killen. So sind wir auf awork gestoßen. Unser Duschbus fährt regelmäßig feste Routen, klingt einfach, ist es aber nicht. Es braucht Wochenplanung, Teamkoordination, Hygienechecks, Kommunikation mit sozialen Einrichtungen etc. In awork haben wir dafür wiederkehrende Aufgaben mit Automatisierungen gebaut, damit unser Alltag planbar wird. Jede Woche ist jetzt klar. Wer macht was, wann und wo. Und wenn’s mal kracht, sehen wir das sofort im Zeitplan.

What I truly appreciate is the ability to have dedicated conversations for each to-do. What did you not like?
To be honest, there isn't much about awork that I'm dissatisfied with. I mean, if I had to nitpick, I would say that I would love the option to change the background of my dashboard. However, I really can't complain about it overall.

Unsere Kampagnen laufen über eigene Boards. Wir tracken Themen, Timings, Designs, Stakeholder-Abstimmungen. Alles an einem Ort. Wir arbeiten mit sensiblen Kundendaten, Grundstücksthemen, Infrastrukturplänen. Da ist DSGVO für uns keine Randnotiz. Mit awork können wir ruhig schlafen. Super schneller Support. Kein Bot-Blabla. Wenn was ist, kriegen wir echte Menschen mit echten Antworten. Und die sind auch noch sympathisch.

Die Mobile App ist eher ein Notfallkoffer. Nur sehr eingeschränkte Funktionen. Keine gute Board-Übersicht. Awork gibt einen klaren Workflow vor. Das ist für Anfänger super für erfahrene Teams oft zu starr. So schön das Interface auch ist, es fehlen teilweise wichtige Infos auf einen Blick.

The free plan offers a lot of functionality without paying a penny. The user interface is very efficient and intuitive to use - just press the play button and you're good to go. I like that I can categorize my time entries into different projects to get a more detailed view of where my time is going and then see a weekly report with it all summarized. Reliability and simplicity; does not show stopper that generate error message. Accessible on the web with additional extensions created all the time.
What did you not like?
Sometimes the Windows app is slow to start. Just started using auto tracking features which hopefully means I no longer have to worry about forgetting to track or stop the timer during my projects monitoring.

Projects can be broken down into manageable chunks with the help of a Gantt chart. It's useful for job setup and help in getting projects and financial management off the ground. Generally, it comes with a great business intelligence features making project and portfolio management easy. Comes with IT ticketing features and handles remote support easily.
What did you not like?
The user interface is overly complex and convoluted. It is hard to locate specific jobs and measuring time seems to be the last thing this product was set up for. Unless you only want to do a timesheet for the project you are on, it is not easy to run a full weekly timesheet.

Awork sieht einfach clean aus. Keine überladenen Menüs, keine hässlichen Buttons. Man öffnet es und hat direkt einen Plan. Selbsterklärend, logisch, kein Tutorial-Wahnsinn. Bei uns war die Einarbeitung praktisch nicht nötig. Jeder hat es sofort verstanden. Wir tracken unsere Arbeitszeit nicht nur für unsere eigene Übersicht, sondern auch für die Budgetplanung und Effizienzanalysen. Und seien wir ehrlich, Zeiterfassung ist oft nervig. Doch awork macht das Ganze so einfach, dass sogar die größten Zeiterfassungs-Muffel in unserem Team es mittlerweile nutzen.

Für uns lohnt sich awork absolut. Aber wenn du ein kleines Startup bist oder nur ein paar Projekte managen willst, könnte es zu teuer sein. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass awork nicht nur Projekte, sondern auch Kundenbeziehungen verwalten kann. Derzeit müssen wir dafür ein separates Tool nutzen, was manchmal umständlich ist. Eine einfache Kundenhistorie direkt in awork, das wäre ein Traum.

Love it! I use it personally in my own office for management of lead to client following. It keeps accurate and beneficial timed markers. I'm still fine tuning some of the best options available. I have another referral company using it and their interaction with it is much better than mine. Dashboard views are by far the easiest to track projects you have in development.
What did you not like?
Cost is the only thing I was bummed about. I know it is not that expensive for what you get but for a small operation like mine, it was just a bit out of my comfort zone.

awork has everything you would expect from a modern solution. Creating custom task phases, repeating tasks and much more. Epics, user stories and sprint management capabilities are all built-in to awork - no hacks needed. The dashboard makes it easy to track important project related dates and all work that needs to be completed beforehand.
What did you not like?
I have trouble finding tasks that I have marked complete. If I don't know the specific name it's hard to find them. Also, the lack of stability and the appalling support is a big downside.

The clarity of the interface and the simple dashboard settings are a great step ahead. It's a real work saver for me. Processes are easy to find and new ones are created quickly. Ab und zu tauchen bei mir Fehlermeldungen auf wenn ich meine Zeit nachträglich anpassen möchte (noch nicht abgerechnette Zeiten). Dann kann ich die Änderung nicht speicher was manchmal sehr nervig sein kann. außerdem finde ich es sachde das die Workload planung nicht im Basis Model inbegriffen ist. Da ich nur Einzelunternehmerin bin macht s für mich auch nicht so viel sinn das höhere Abo zu buchen. Dennoch wäre diese funktion sehr hilfreich für mich.

Zentrale Projekträume, jeder sieht wer an welchem Beitrag arbeitet. Awork bietet zudem eine smarte Zeiterfassung, ideal für Agenturen oder Abteilungen mit abrechenbaren Projekten. Aber für unseren Content-Bereich ist sie eher eine Zusatzfunktion als ein Must-have. Deadline-Tracking mit Timeline-Ansicht, wir wissen genau, wann was fertig sein muss.

Mobile App ist okay, aber nicht perfekt, unterwegs Projekte checken? Geht, aber nicht so smooth wie am Desktop. Manchmal fühlt sich das Tracken der Zeit zu umständlich an. Wir arbeiten stundenlang mit awork, aber es gibt keine Option für dunklen Hintergrund. Unsere Augen schreien nach einem Dark Mode! Wer schon mal eine alte Aufgabe gesucht hat, weiß, wie nervig die Suche ist. Keine smarte Filterung, keine semantische Suche, einfach nur Keyword-Matching.

Projektmanagement-Tools gibt es wie Sand am Meer, aber für uns reicht es nicht, nur Aufgaben zu sortieren. Jeden Tag verschmelzen hier Wissen, Effizienz und schlaue Workflows miteinander, um sicherzustellen, dass die Prozesse einfach rund laufen und die Produktivität hoch bleibt. Unser Ziel ist ein System, das die oft verworrenen Content-Workflows in handlichere Bahnen führt, Teams miteinander verknüpft und dabei den Stress auf ein Minimum drückt. Genau da tritt awork ins Spiel, ehrlich gesagt, es ist genau diese Unterstützung, die wir gerade so brauchen.

Das Thema Rechtemanagement und teilweise längere Ladezeiten (Synchronisierung) könnte man durchaus noch etwas optimieren. Rechnungen werden leider mit einem Deutschen Steuersatz an die jeweilige Software ausgeliefert. Zudem wäre eine Vollintegration der Urlaubskontingente und Gleitzeit noch wünschenswert. Vielleicht wird hier ja schon gearbeitet! :)

Mir gefällt das Dashboard, was ich für meine individuellen Bedürfnisse anpassen kann. Mir gefällt es, Vorlagen (egal ob für Projekte oder Aufgaben) zu erstellen und immer wieder verwenden zu können. Das spart mir Zeit und Nerven.

Teilweise fehlen Dinge, die ich als offensichtlich wichtig empfinde. Zum Beispiel die Aufgabenlisten, die super zum sortieren sind, aber ansonsten nicht bei Filtern oder Rechnungen verwendet werden können. Außerdem gibt es immer mal wieder Bugs, z.B. beim erstellen von Aufgaben.

Keine komplizierten Menüs, alles ist logisch aufgebaut und schnell verständlich. Perfekt für Teams, die ohne lange Einarbeitung starten wollen. Keine separaten Timer-Tools nötig, da die Zeiterfassung nahtlos integriert ist. Wir nutzen Slack und Outlook täglich, dank der Integration mit awork laufen unsere Kommunikations- und Planungsprozesse viel nahtloser. Wenn mal etwas nicht klappt oder wir Fragen haben, reagiert der Support schnell und kompetent. Selten habe ich so guten Kundenservice erlebt!

Projektkosten lassen sich nicht direkt in awork verwalten, was für manche Teams hilfreich wäre. Keine kostenlose Version für kleinere Teams, es gibt nur eine Testphase, aber keine dauerhaft kostenfreie Version. Kein echtes Ressourcenmanagement, Aufgaben lassen sich gut organisieren, aber eine detaillierte Kapazitätsplanung fehlt. Manche Teammitglieder empfinden die Menge an In-App-Benachrichtigungen als störend.

Jeden Tag koordiniere ich mehrere Kampagnen parallel, steuere Produktlaunches und halte die Fäden zwischen Design, Content, Vertrieb und IT zusammen. Effiziente Prozesse und klare Abläufe sind dabei unerlässlich, doch ohne das richtige Tool wird das schnell zur Herausforderung. Lange haben wir nach einer Lösung gesucht, die leistungsstark, aber gleichzeitig intuitiv ist. Nach unzähligen Tests sind wir schließlich bei awork gelandet und ganz ehrlich, ich will nie wieder ohne. Nach Monaten intensiver Nutzung kann ich mit Überzeugung sagen. Awork bringt Struktur ins kreative Chaos, macht Teamwork müheloser und sorgt dafür, dass Projekte nicht nur effizient, sondern auch stressfrei umgesetzt werden.

Wir würden uns wünschen, dass man Workflows noch flexibler anpassen kann, insbesondere für unser sehr spezielles Kongressmanagement. Die App ist nützlich für unterwegs, aber einige Funktionen (z. Besonders in der Immobilienbranche arbeiten nicht alle mit umfangreichem IT-Wissen. Awork überzeugt hier mit einer klaren, modernen Oberfläche, die auch technikfernen Kollegen leicht verständlich ist. Wir können Workflows und Aufgabenlisten so anpassen, dass sie genau unsere Bauphasen widerspiegeln von der Grundstückssicherung über die Planungsphase bis zur Fertigstellung. Besonders bei Routineaufgaben (z.B. wöchentliche Statusmeetings oder Erinnerungen an Abgabefristen) sparen wir viel Zeit durch automatisierte Workflows.

Während die Aufgabenplanung solide ist, fehlen uns im Vergleich zu spezialisierten Bauprojekt-Tools wie Procore detaillierte Funktionen für das Ressourcenmanagement. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn awork etwa die Auslastung unserer Architekten oder Bauleiter visuell besser abbilden könnte. Die Standard-Reports sind brauchbar, aber für komplexe Auswertungen (z.B. Kostenschätzungen vs. tatsächliche Aufwände) müssen wir die Daten oft noch exportieren und manuell in Excel weiterverarbeiten.

Wir verwenden awork primär zur Planung und Steuerung unserer Immobilienprojekte. Jedes Bauprojekt sei es die Entwicklung eines neuen Bürokomplexes oder die Sanierung eines Wohngebäudes wird in awork als eigenes Projekt angelegt. Innerhalb dieser Projekte strukturieren wir die Arbeit in sogenannte Aufgaben und Meilensteine. Besonders nützlich ist die Möglichkeit, Aufgaben mit klaren Deadlines und Verantwortlichkeiten zu versehen. Für uns ist die Zeiterfassung ein absolutes Highlight. Architekten, Bauingenieure und externe Partner loggen ihre Stunden direkt im jeweiligen Projekt, was eine transparente Übersicht über den tatsächlichen Zeitaufwand ermöglicht. Gerade bei der Budgetplanung und bei der Vorbereitung unserer Quartalsberichte hat uns diese Funktion schon mehrfach wertvolle Einblicke geliefert.

It is simply the cheapest option for time tracking, project management and automatic invoicing. It saves me time, especially with invoicing, I use it daily fr my work. The interface is easy to use and its time entry is a breeze.
What did you not like?
Scheduling and resource management could be better. We can't register the time that an employee may work every week as some are part-time. Also hard to learn at first.

Easy to track time and see calendar view on timesheets to visualize our day. Easy to create a project and great to see different viewing options such as table or gantt depending on how you need to visualize a project.

awork is so easy to use and intuitive. The learning curve is almost none. From the first time we used it, it adapted quickly and it is convenient since we can fill in at any time, even for past and present tense. It qualifies for an exception and accurate cloud projects, team and task management. Besides, awork suits online proofing, time tracking and business budgeting as well. Ease of aligning all tasks and projects on the go. Simple setting with pre-built excellent clean UI and UX design for all.

Honestly, no single drawback to air at all. I can't find anything I don't like. It is perfect for my needs.

Das Datei und Medienhandling sollte ausgebaut werden. Besonders die Ermöglichung eines Bulk-Downloads ( z.B. in gezippter Form). Gleiches gilt auch für den Löschvorgang.

Was uns von Anfang an begeistert hat, ist die Kombination aus modernem Design und intuitiver Bedienung. In einem so dynamischen Umfeld wie bei Living Bytes, wo sich Projekte überschneiden und Prioritäten sich blitzschnell ändern, bringt awork Ordnung ins Chaos. Ein echtes Highlight ist die nahtlos integrierte Zeiterfassung. Anstatt zwischen mehreren Tools hin- und herzuspringen, trackt unser Team die Arbeitszeiten direkt in den jeweiligen Aufgaben simpel, effizient und ohne Umwege. Das spart nicht nur wertvolle Zeit, sondern sorgt dafür, dass unsere Projektabrechnungen und Nachkalkulationen auf den Punkt genau sind. Die Auswertungsfunktionen sind dabei ein echtes Power-Feature: Sie geben uns tiefe Einblicke in die Auslastung unseres Teams, sodass wir Kapazitäten klug planen und potenzielle Überlastungen rechtzeitig entschärfen können.
What did you not like?
Natürlich gibt es auch Punkte, an denen awork sich weiterentwickeln könnte. Besonders bei den Dashboards und Berichten würden wir uns mehr Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten wünschen. Auch die mobile App sehen wir als ausbaufähig. Sie ist funktional, aber unterwegs oder im Homeoffice wäre es ein echter Vorteil, wenn die Bedienung noch geschmeidiger wäre, vor allem bei komplexeren Aufgaben oder der Zeiterfassung.

Wir nutzen awork bei Living Bytes auf vielfältige Weise und haben es fest in unsere Workflows integriert. Jedes Projekt wird direkt in awork aufgesetzt von der ersten Ideenphase bis zum finalen Abschluss. Aufgaben werden klar strukturiert, in Unteraufgaben aufgeteilt und den entsprechenden Teammitgliedern zugewiesen. Dank der Priorisierungsfunktion bleibt immer ersichtlich, was gerade am wichtigsten ist. Besonders hilfreich ist die Automatisierungsfunktion, wiederkehrende Aufgaben werden automatisch erstellt, sodass nichts in Vergessenheit gerät. Wir blicken voller Vorfreude auf kommende Updates, insbesondere im Bereich Reporting und mobile Nutzung und sind gespannt, wie awork sich weiterentwickelt.

What did you like?
It is a reliable tool for project and task management. What's much better, we are able to prioritize on tasks that we creates. It is easier to use and very straightforward. awork makes our workflow much much easier and communication much more effective. It is very convenient to use and has customizable templates allowing workflows to be tailored to specific projects and help teams to be more efficient. It is definitely a powerful choice.
What did you not like?
Perhaps one weakness of awork is its search ability. It is difficult to locate particular activities or discussions, particularly when a project comprises many tasks.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Excellent and I couldn't see us wanting to replace the software. I am sure their resolution services are good however, we have never needed to contact them in the years that we have been their customer. The software never seems to glitch which is unheard of.
