Wir sind klassisches Marketing-Team und trotzdem konnten wir mit cosmos in kurzer Zeit eine klare Positionierung und passende Personas aufbauen. Das ging erstaunlich einfach, auch ohne große Vorkenntnisse. Für uns war das Gold wert, weil wir im Anschluss unsere Agentur sehr viel gezielter briefen konnten. Die wussten auf einmal genau, wen wir ansprechen wollen und was uns wichtig ist. Ohne stundenlange Briefings und Schleifen.

What did you not like?

Man kann Metriken nicht zwischen verschiedenen Zielgruppen / Lenses sharen. Damit könnte man Strategien noch besser vergleichen

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir haben uns unterschiedliche Strategien in separaten Lenses aufgebaut, um sie gegeneinander zu testen. Wirklich wertvoll alle Maßnahmen auf einen Blick zu sehen und die Zusammenhänge sichtbar zu machen. Vorher haben wir vieles nach Bauchgefühl entschieden. Jetzt haben wir ein klares Bild und entscheiden auf Fakten. Außerdem helfen Funktionen wie die Personas und OKR Notes, dass wir unsere Aktivitäten strukturiert bewerten und verfolgen.

Als Unternehmen befinden wir uns aktuell in einer starken Wachstumsphase und nutzen Cosmos als strategisches Tool, um unsere Wirkungsketten bewusst zu planen und kritisch zu hinterfragen. Der Wirkungsketten-Ansatz hat uns enorm geholfen, aus dem Modus des „Machens um des Machens willen“ herauszukommen. Dabei wurden grundlegende Schwächen in unserer Service-Architektur sowie in unserer Zielsetzung sichtbar, die uns vorher nicht in dieser Klarheit bewusst waren. Wer Entscheidungen nicht mehr aus dem Bauchgefühl treffen möchte, sondern Klarheit in sein Marken- und Marketing-Cosmos bringen will, dem kann ich Cosmos sehr empfehlen.

What did you not like?

Bei den Personas wünschen wir uns mehr Flexibilität, um diese mit zusätzlichen Feldern zu erweitern und individueller auszugestalten.

Aktionismus ohne Wirkung - Durch den Wirkungsketten-Ansatz wird sichtbar, welche Aktivitäten tatsächlich auf unsere Ziele einzahlen. 2) Strategische Klarheit - Wir sehen zusammenhänge zwischen Zielgruppen, Leistungen, Botschaften und Kanälen explizit. So erkennen wir Überlappungen und Unschärfen in unseren Touchpoints.

What did you like?

Simple listing of touchpoints with colours to see their respective statuses and quickly identify where action is needed.

What did you not like?

There is a large selection of external data sources that can be connected directly. Some require a workaround. Should be constantly expanded.

Clear overview of all marketing activities and channels, easier communication with managers, and all strategic data in one place.

What did you like?

Our team is far better aligned since we started using cosmos. As a management board, we can instantly see where the team stands and make decisions much faster. We use cosmos on two levels: I have a clean management summary to check progress quickly, and the team works with a more detailed view to identify where execution is stuck. From a leadership perspective, it’s an excellent tool to understand how our yearly strategy is being implemented operationally and where we need to adjust.

What did you not like?

There’s some setup effort for the team in the beginning until everything is structured properly, but once the structure is in place, it pays off quickly.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It gives us real transparency and better alignment and shows whether the strategy is actually being executed. It makes clear where management needs to step in.

What did you like?

We’re a tiny team and honestly not very strong in strategy or marketing. A friend recommended cosmos, so we gave it a try and booked a session with one of their specialists. He walked us through everything and helped us set up a clear plan, even though we didn’t have much data to start with. For the first time, we actually understand how to get new customers and what steps matter most. It feels like we finally have a proper direction.

What did you not like?

The platform can feel a bit overwhelming at the beginning if you’re completely new to strategy work. But they have many guided workflows that helped.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It gave us a clear idea of how to attract new customers and where to focus. We build our strategy mostly on recommendations but now we finally have something structured to develop it properly. And we know wxactly where additional external help is needed.

What did you like?

The greatest added value: Previously, presentations, Excel sheets, and notes were scattered across numerous locations. Now, we finally have everything we need for strategy and alignment consolidated in one place. Thanks to the AI features, the information is actively utilized and no longer just stored in random folders.

What did you not like?

Currently, it is not possible to move or copy personas between target lenses. This would be helpful because we currently have three lenses.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We no longer have islands of information, but a platform that links everything together. In addition, cosmos offers many other valuable features that significantly improve teamwork: The integrated OKR system ensures clear goal tracking and responsibilities. And we can check at any time whether measures not only fit the business goal, but also the personas that we have clearly mapped in the system. It's a really valuable tool that solves many problems. In my area of responsibility, but also across marketing and sales.

What did you like?

The biggest lever for us is that we have finally created a single source of truth across all teams and departments. Everyone knows the current status and has an overview of all activities and goals we are pursuing at all times. No more departmental thinking, but everyone contributing along the chain to the overall business goal.

What did you not like?

The mindset of looking at everything from the perspective of the goal was new. But it forces the team to critically question every measure, and that was exactly what was needed.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Meetings are more productive because we don't waste half the time on status updates, but can talk about progress and important decisions right away. Every decision is now made based on the facts of the data and from the perspective of the target group. This helps us direct investments to the right channels and work on the issues that really contribute to growth.

What did you like?

Das Beste aus meiner Sicht ist, dass man wirklich erkennt, was welchen Einfluss auf das übergreifende Ziel hat. Ich dachte immer mit Meta erzielen wir den größten Wert für unsere Kunden, aber cosmos hat klar gemacht, welche KPIs wir in der Flut an Daten wirklich betrachten müssen. Das hat zu echten Aha-Momente geführt. Wir haben uns früher nur auf Traffic konzentriert, Hauptsache möglichst viel. Aber wenn daraus keine Abschlüsse oder Käufe entstehen, bringt das alles nix und wir verbrennen einfach nur Budget. Die Darstellung von cosmos ist sehr übersichtlich. Kunde, Team, Management erkennen schnell wo wir stehen. Die Verlaufsbalken geben dank der Farben schnell Übersicht.

What did you not like?

Aktuell kann ich pro Touchpoint nur KPIs hinterlegen. Damit es komplett ist, wäre es wertvoll auch Budgets zu hinterlegen, dass ich z.B. ROI oder ROAS auch angezeigt bekomme. Dann wäre echt alles in diesem Tool integriert.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

cosmos hat geholfen zu hinterfragen, wofür wir jeden Touchpoint strategisch einsetzen wollen. Bei manchen Touchpoints ist es okay, wenn sie nur für Traffic sorgen, andere sollten gezielt dazu führen einen Schritt näher zum Ziel zu kommen. Wenn dies nicht erfüllt wird (nachweislich anhand der Zahlen), kill it. Man fängt wirklich an zu priorisieren und den Fokus zu verändern. Was bringt uns voran? Was nicht? Dazu gibt es noch so Features wie Persona-Erstellung oder Positionierung mit geführten Tutorials. Das ist echt hilfreich, um die strategische Basis nochmal zu überprüfen oder überhaupt zu erstellen.

What did you like?

With cosmos, we were able to map all touchpoints and activities along the customer journey and, more importantly, visualize their connections. It gave us an entirely new level of understanding of how efforts contribute to ROI. It sounds simple, but we hadn't done it so consistently before. We could have used this tool a year ago.

What did you not like?

It's both a blessing and a curse that cosmos “forces” you to align everything with a central goal. But honestly, that was the wake-up call we needed – we realized how much money we’d been burning.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

cosmos shows us exactly which measures impact the goal and which don’t. We discovered gaps that had limited growth for years. Now resources go where ROI is proven. We no longer waste energy on touchpoints that have no effect.

What did you like?

We've been talking about working in a truly customer-centric way for years. With cosmos, we've finally achieved that. Our data is now mapped in a workflow that is oriented toward the target group. This forces us to challenge every activity: What does it do for the customer, and what does it do for our goal? At the same time, we save time because reports and briefings can be created directly from cosmos.

What did you not like?

The integrated tutorials are helpful, but sometimes almost too detailed. I would have preferred short text information for some features.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Today, we can see at a glance which KPIs in the chain to the business goal make the difference—and where we need to optimize. Discussions about interpretation or priority have become significantly less frequent. We also used to have the problem that teams were constantly shifting or reprioritizing goals. With cosmos, the focus is much clearer. And we save coordination time because everything is documented at one place. Cooperation with marketing and sales has also improved significantly because all team members are aligned on goals and measures.

Wir haben schon immer sehr intensiv getrackt, aber je mehr Zahlen es wurden, desto mehr Diskussionen hatten wir. Jeder hat sich die Metriken herausgesucht, die in sein Argument passten. cosmos™ hat das geändert: Wir betrachten KPIs jetzt nur noch im Zusammenhang mit der Journey-Kette zum Ziel. Dadurch fokussieren wir uns automatisch auf die Kennzahlen, die wirklich entscheidend sind.

What did you not like?

Es war anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig, Detail-Metriken loszulassen. Heute merken wir, dass genau das der Hebel war, um effizienter zu arbeiten.

Das Problem war nie ein Mangel an Daten, sondern fehlende Klarheit. cosmos™ reduziert auf die Essenz und hebt hervor, was zählt. What did you like?

The KPI Universe is a game changer. We can track every single activity right down to the target group—and now we can immediately see whether a touchpoint is contributing to the goal or not. This has made it much easier for us to prioritize the team, projects, and tasks. We leave out anything that consumes resources and does not contribute to the goal. We didn't see this so clearly before cosmos.

What did you not like?

We had some teething problems at the beginning because we still had too many opinions at the table. But Janine, our cosmos specialist, helped us implement cosmos across the entire team and asked us the right questions to get us started.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Cosmos has revealed measures that we have been investing in for years but which have no real effect. This has triggered new (but, in my opinion, better) discussions at management level. We used to spend hours creating reports. Now, a glance at KPI Universe is enough to see where adjustments are needed. This allows us to manage campaigns much more agilely and avoid wasting time on dead ends.

What did you like?

1) Die Journey-Darstellung ist einfach genial – sofort sichtbar, wo Brüche sind. 2) Die OKR-Updates sind perfekt, um alle in der Geschäftsführung / Gesellschafter im Loop zu halten. Auch ohne lange Meetings. 3) Mit den Live Link teilen wir alle strategischen Infos + Briefings auf Knopfdruck mit unseren externen Partnern.

What did you not like?

Wäre cool, wenn das angekündigte AI-Update schon jetzt verfügbar wäre. Kommt aber im Herbst.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir sehen jetzt klar, wo Deals hängenbleiben und wir den Fokus hinlenken müssen. Vorher haben wir immer an vielen Baustellen gleichzeitig gearbeitet und zum Teil den Fokus verloren. Zielsetzungen – vor allem von den Gesellschaftern – haben sich ständig geändert, was uns viel Zeit und Nerven gekostet hat. Wir haben jetzt viel weniger bzw. effizientere Meetings, klare Prior und Ziele an jeder Aktivität (dank OKR Historie sieht man sogar wie oft sich ein Ziel ändert).
