What did you like?

Easy redmine lets our engineering and support teams share gantt timelines, agile boards, help-desk tickets, and git repos in a single browser tab; its ai-driven health reports warn about budget or schedule trouble long before it hurts, and everything runs securely on our own server without cloud anxiety.

What did you not like?

Nothing truly critical blocks us, yet the first-time role and permission matrix is labyrinthine and the admin ui looks a bit dated, so expect to invest a few concentrated hours tweaking settings and onboarding team leads before go-live.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We replaced three siloed tools, met strict gdpr rules, and cut bug resolution time by roughly twenty percent while giving managers live portfolio insight.

What did you like?

Easy redmine ermöglicht es das Projekt von Anfang bis Ende zu planen und zu managen. Am Anfang kann man mittels mindmap sein brainstorming visualisieren und dies als Basis für einen projektplan nehmen. Zusätzlich kann man leicht aufwände erfassen und wirklich mit anderen zusammenarbeiten. Dies gilt sowohl für interne Abteilungen als auch für externe Dienstleister die sich leicht andocken lassen. Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist dass das Projekt von Anfang bis Ende über das Tool abgewickelt werden kann und es Schnittstellen zu allen Systemen (zB JIRA oder Confluence) gibt. Auch das Projekt reporting ist mittels easyredmine super leicht und retros lassen sich schnell vorbereiten.

What did you not like?

Verbindung zu kleineren Tools könnte besser sein- so ist manchmal die Connection zu kleineren Programmen ein wenig schwierig. Hier ist es vom Vorteil wenn man sich vorab Gedanken macht welche Programme und Abteilungen auf jeden Fall an Easyredmine abgeschlossen werden müssen. Sofern man wie wir nur mit größeren Software arbeitet (bspw JIRA) ist dies aber kein Problem. Das pricing ist auch etwas was nicht so gefällt- allerdings bewegt sich easyredmine hier neben Jira und co im absoluten Mittelfeld.

Leichtes Projektmanagement sowohl intern als auch extern, dies war vor easyredmine super schwierig und Es würden primär Excel und PowerPoints hin und her geschickt. Was auch durch easyredmine gelöst werden konnte ist das erfassen und abrechnen von Projektaufwänden und der aufgewendeten Zeit/ ich kenne kein besseres PM Tool was diese Probleme in der Form lösen konnte

What did you not like?

There are no show-stoppers, but the interface prioritises function over flair; older-style icons, muted palettes, and nested menus sometimes make newcomers hunt for the buttons they use most, which slows adoption until muscle memory kicks in.

What did you not like?

What did you like?

we love that kanban cards, waterfall milestones, service tickets, and knowledge-base articles share the same database, so linking a bug report to its release task is a two-click affair, with burndown and sla metrics updating instantly across the board.

What did you not like?

aside from a slightly dated color palette and a steep learning curve for custom report builders, we have not encountered any major pain points worth mentioning.

the biggest win is running the whole stack on our own servers, satisfying strict client ndas while still giving us drag-and-drop sprint boards, gantt charts, sla alerts, and integrated git merge requests in a single browser tab.

What did you not like?

no glaring flaws appear, though the interface looks a bit utilitarian and the contextual help sometimes lags behind new features, so we occasionally ping support for clarification.
