What did you like?

It simplifies the entire HR processes. Before ZMI, I would have to chase down errant time cards, ensure they were filled out correctly, fill in a spreadsheet to track my job costing and then log into ADP, enter the hours and approve. This was an unpleasant, time consuming and mundane process. Now, the software is very easy to use and their customer service is very responsive and helpful. We couldn't be happier.

What did you not like?

The app doesn't allow people to clock in often and I have to do it on the computer regularly. They also do not send payroll summary's when the checks are delivered, we actually have to print it out ourselves. This trouble should be addressed to ensure full automation.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Great, I believe if they make a few little adjustments it would perfect, but I love it!

Ich habe das Produkt People im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit mit ZMI kennen und schätzen gelernt. Dabei handelt es sich um eine sehr einfache, schnell eingerichtete Cloudlösung für die Zeiterfassung. Neben der Tatsache, dass das Onboarding und der Support extrem angenehm ist und das Produkt gegenüber Marktbewerbern mit einem sehr fairen Preis auftritt, merkt man, dass die Expertise in der Zeiterfassung nicht vom Himmel gefallen ist.

What did you not like?

Grundsätzlich sieht man, dass das Produkt noch neu und im Aufbau ist. Das einzige, was hier verbesserungswürdig im aktuellen Zustand ist, ist dass es eine Entwicklerschnittstelle zur Anbindung an Drittsysteme geben dürfte.

Das People Produkt nimmt uns die Kopfschmerzen bei der Zeiterfassung. In der Vergangenheit haben wir verschiedenste Methoden ausprobiert, die sich als unoptimal erwiesen haben. Mit ZMI People kommt nicht nur ein schlankes und gutes Produkt daher, sondern auch äußerst kompetente Ansprechpartner rund um das Thema Zeiterfassung.

Anstatt umständlicher Abstimmungsprozesse nutzen wir ZMI, um Urlaubsanträge digital zu verwalten. Genehmigungen können mit wenigen Klicks erteilt werden, was den administrativen Aufwand reduziert. Sicherheit und Datenschutz sind für uns essenziell. Die Cloud-Option bietet eine sehr zuverlässige Infrastruktur, mit regelmäßigen Backups und hoher Verfügbarkeit. Die Software wird stetig weiterentwickelt, was bedeutet, dass wir regelmäßig neue Funktionen erhalten, die unseren Arbeitsalltag weiter verbessern.

What did you not like?

Zwar ist die Bedienung echt einfach, doch das Design wirkt stellenweise etwas altmodisch. Eine optische Überarbeitung mit moderneren UI-Elementen würde die Nutzerfreundlichkeit noch weiter erhöhen. Die initiale Konfiguration hat mehr Zeit in Anspruch genommen als erwartet. Hier wäre eine noch bessere Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung oder ein geführter Einrichtungsassistent hilfreich, um die Implementierung schneller und einfacher zu gestalten.

Bevor wir ZMI eingeführt haben, war unsere Zeiterfassung eher fragmentiert. Einige Kollegen haben ihre Arbeitszeiten manuell in Excel eingetragen, andere verwendeten Drittanbieter-Apps, die keine zentrale Steuerung erlaubten. Dies führte nicht nur zu Intransparenz, sondern erschwerte auch die Auswertung von Projektdaten und die Abrechnung gegenüber Kunden. ZMI bot uns genau die Lösung, die wir suchten. Jeder Mitarbeiter bucht seine Arbeitszeiten bequem über den Web-Client oder die mobile App. Besonders hilfreich ist die automatische Synchronisation mit unserer internen Projektsoftware. Für uns als Designagentur ist es wichtig, genau zu wissen, wie viel Zeit in bestimmte Kundenprojekte fließt. Dank der integrierten Projektzeiterfassung können wir Zeitbuchungen direkt einem Projekt oder einer bestimmten Aufgabe zuordnen.

It is a successful journey with all ZMI technical team members who supported in launching and implementing this software. The customization requirements was accommodated to match our local and regional requirements and our internal policies and guidelines all across the region. Easy accessibility, smart solution, strong technical support team. Also has a simple and predictable pricing.

What did you not like?

Updates and developments in the product are not in line with similar products in the market, they normally delay. Also, we initially had challenges because this product was available only on desktop version but luckily, they later brought the web version.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

All working smarter and neat as much as we want. We were able to make changes request to our time when error was made. Assigning working hours directly to projects, customers or specific tasks can be done automatically without huge intervention. With ZMI, we can comply with working time laws and creates a good monthly report and analytics.

What did you like?

A major highlight is the integrated vacation and absence management. Instead of struggling through countless emails or Excel sheets, requests can be submitted and approved directly through ZMI. This has greatly simplified the approval process and reduced misunderstandings. One of ZMI's strongest features is staff scheduling. Our company often works with changing project teams, and the ability to plan resources in a clear and organized way has definitely been a big help. What I particularly appreciate is that shift schedules are created automatically and can be quickly adjusted when needed.

What did you not like?

I have to admit that the initial onboarding wasn’t entirely smooth. While the user interface is functional, it’s not immediately intuitive for new users. The many settings options can be overwhelming at first, and we had to invest some time to adjust ZMI so that it aligned perfectly with our processes. The biggest drawback, however, lies in hardware compatibility. The software itself is well-designed, but not all access systems integrate seamlessly. So, if you're already using an existing system, it's important to check compatibility beforehand.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

When we first implemented ZMI, I was immediately impressed by the wide range of features. The software offers modules for time tracking, staff scheduling, access control, and project time tracking, which is incredibly valuable for a company like ours that places high importance on accurate billing and structured processes. All of our employees record their working hours through ZMI, either via the web portal or the mobile app. Vacation requests, sick leave notifications, and other absences are fully managed through ZMI. The approval processes are clearly structured, and supervisors can approve requests directly through the system.

All this are found under one platform. ZMI is a vital catalyst to a smart business.

What did you not like?

The process of using excel spreadsheets are super hard to get started. So many errors occurred at that stage but after setup, everything is flowing smooth.

I enjoy how ZMI work, look and run. Once the updates started it makes work easier. The ATS is easy to post, review, store notes/scorecards and schedule interviews. It has made the hire to onboarding process perfect for us.

Mitarbeitende im Büro nutzen die Webanwendung, während unser Lagerpersonal auf stationäre Terminals zurückgreift. Diese Vielseitigkeit passt perfekt zu unserem hybriden Arbeitsumfeld. Sowohl unsere Mitarbeitenden als auch wir im HR-Team haben uns schnell an die intuitive Bedienung gewöhnt. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist klar strukturiert und selbsterklärend. ZMI lässt sich problemlos mit unserer Lohnbuchhaltungssoftware verknüpfen, was uns doppelte Dateneingaben erspart.

Die Einführung und Konfiguration von ZMI gestalteten sich anfangs etwas zeitintensiv, da wir unsere spezifischen Anforderungen sehr detailliert anpassen mussten. Zudem traten bei größeren Updates gelegentlich kleinere Fehler auf, die uns vorübergehend ausgebremst haben. Auch wenn diese schnell behoben wurden, sorgten sie in der Zwischenzeit für spürbaren Stress und zusätzliche Arbeit.

ZMI gibt jedem Mitarbeiter eine klare Übersicht über seine Aufgaben und Zeiten und uns Projektmanagern das nötige Werkzeug, um Entscheidungen auf Basis verlässlicher Daten zu treffen. Ich kann Zeiten und Abwesenheiten direkt über mein Smartphone erfassen, perfekt wenn man unterwegs ist.

Natürlich gibt es auch Bereiche, in denen ZMI noch besser werden könnte. Zum Beispiel würde ich mir wünschen, dass die Projektunterteilungen noch flexibler gestaltet werden können, um spezifische Arbeitsschritte präziser zuzuordnen. Außerdem ist die Benutzeroberfläche funktional, aber visuell könnte sie moderner wirken, das ist vielleicht aber auch der Design-Perfektionist in mir, der hier spricht.

Im Zentrum unserer Arbeit steht die genaue Zeiterfassung für die Vielzahl an Projekten, die wir betreuen. ZMI ermöglicht es uns, die Arbeitszeit nicht nur präzise zu dokumentieren, sondern auch klar einzelnen Aufgaben und Kundenprojekten zuzuordnen. Dadurch behalten wir die Kontrolle über den Ressourcenverbrauch und können realistische Projektanalysen sowie Nachkalkulationen durchführen. Die Planung von Urlauben, Fortbildungen oder sonstigen Abwesenheiten wird durch ZMI zum Kinderspiel. Besonders in einem kreativen Team, wo oft spontane Planänderungen auftreten.

This is an intuitive tool to manage time and performance. It gives every employee a chance to thrive with a full view of productivity and development opportunities within our team. User authentication and access control are the pillars of ZMI software security, ensuring that sensitive information is accessible only to authorized individuals. Its features goes beyond to include onboarding tools, a time off manager, compensation planning, talent management and advanced analytics. It is easy to identify and flag issues in your work with issue management features. Custom views helps in highlighting the most important or time-sensitive bugs to address.

What did you not like?

Adding data to multiple custom fields can prove difficult with the lack of multi-select option and code often appears alongside the data.

It allows for simple project visualization and effective drag and drop task management. Allows for easy sharing and collaboration even among external users. We particularly enjoy convenience, accessibility and cost advantages that reduce the risks of unstructured data in our work.

For us, ZMI helps us create forms and apply workflows quickly and efficiently. It offers extensive training and detailed how-to guides for its more complex capabilities. Its interface is comfortable as well as importing and exporting data with ease. It is also customizable, which helps our teams to tailor workspace to suit our business processes. Its price also puts it among the most affordable options available.

What did you not like?

Doesn't have built in resources planning, proofing and project reporting which might be limiting for some teams.

Offers us robust set of tools for modern teams, including Gantt charts, grid views and boards as well as various resources management features that helps to manage tasks and teams. It helps us manage even the most sophisticated projects well. It is very straightforward option which helps visualize our workloads quickly and break down complex projects with a to-do list for each project, complete with separate notes and attachments.

Great functionalities suitable for us. I feel that we have experienced the best version of ZMI ever. I am grateful.

Die Web- und App-basierte Nutzeroberfläche sind für die Mitarbeitenden einfach zu bedienen und schaffen in Echtzeit Transparenz zu Arbeitszeit- und Urlaubskonten.

Die Administration des Systems ist anspruchsvoll und das Hauptprogramm nicht immer intuitiv. Die Komplexität des Systems ist der zahlreichen und teils sehr individuellen Lösungen und Möglichkeiten geschuldet.

What did you not like?

ZMI is easier to use, faster and more secure than ever before. I cannot compare it with any other tools in the sector. Does its best to ensure perfection.

What did you like?

Having a consistent and documented approach to human resource and security is really useful. ZMI has continually improved our efficiency and productivity of our employees by kicking our misconduct. It ensures that staff remain compliant and are aware of the repercussions of policy and confidentiality breaches. It reaches every employee through training and other employee centered activities throughout an employee's tenure.

What did you not like?

Nothing much. It is a good software to work with and the interface is smooth. It is affordable too.

Good cybersecurity starts with employees. Human resources is often a resource for employees to improve job related skills. With ZMI, our HR department has made every efforts to bring employees up to speed. It has also fostered partnerships between departments building overall technical proficiencies.

What did you like?

Einloggen bei ZMI heißt weg von der "Stechuhr", Einloggen im Office, im Home-Office und auch mobil möglich. Sehr einfache Bedienung, unsere MitarbeiterInnen gewöhnen sich schnell an das neue System und wissen, was zu tun ist. sehr gute Unterstützung durch ZMI-Support, wenn man mal ein Problem hat.

What did you not like?

Es sollte unbedingt und möglichst schnell die Möglichkeit der monatlichen Zahlung per Sepa-Lastschrift eingeführt werden, monatliches Überweisen ist old-fashioned und ein Zeitfresser. Bedienung für den Administrator am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, nicht jeder Schritt ist da selbsterklärend. Bei Start mitten im Jahr eher komplexe Einstellung der Urlaubstage erforderlich.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir haben viele Home-Office MitarbeiterInnen, die sich damit ganz normal einchecken können, statt wie bisher ihre Arbeitszeit auf Tabellen festzuhalten. Damit ist auch eine Objektivierbarkeit der geleisteten Arbeitszeit im Home-Office gegeben. Das bisherige Einchecken im Büro an der "Stechuhr" ist heute nicht mehr zeitgemäß und erfüllt auch nicht mehr die gesetzlichen Anforderungen. Kurz gesagt: ZMI People ist einfach, modern, nützlich!

ZMI is committed to providing ongoing support and updates on trending features in the market which means that you can be sure that the human resource management needs will be met for years to come. Further, it is available on both a desktop and cloud-based version making it accessible from any device or location. What did you not like?

ZMI has helped us manage our personnel more efficiently and effectively. I have not experienced any major challenge while using it up to now.

What did you like?

Employee time recording is an essential part of attendance management that shapes the company environment. It provides transparency, helps with scheduling and payroll. Erfassung der Arbeitszeit über Stempeluhr und am Computer klappt reibungslos. Zeiten können dann an den Steuerberater für Lohnabrechnung weitergereicht werden.

Wir sind mit der ZMI Software sehr zufrieden. Läuft super und stabil, und die zugehörige Smartphone-App ist ein echter Mehrwert. Als gehostete Umgebung, so dass man keine eigene Infrastruktur betreiben muss, einfach TOP!

What did you not like?

Tja, was soll ich sagen, mir fällt aktuell kein wirklicher Nachteil ein. Höchstens das Design der Smartphone-App könnte ein klein wenig moderner sein, aber das ist schon Meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Einfache Zeiterfassung für alle Mitarbeiter. Durch die App vor allem super für Außendienst-Mitarbeiter.

Die Rechtssicherheit der Software in Verbindung mit den sehr flexibel gestaltbaren Arbeitszeitmodellen, sowie die Schnittstellenanbindung an Datev und die eAU. Zusätzlich ist der Support sehr zügig und inhaltlich fundiert.

What did you not like?

Die fehlende Möglichkeit Berichte dynamisch in Excel auszugeben. Außerdem ist die Zuordnung der Berichte zu einzelnen Usern und Usergruppen zunächst umständlich. Zusätzliche Exporte in der Weboberfläche wären wünschenswert.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Die Verwaltung diverser, komplexer Zeitmodelle und der gleichzeitigen korrekten Berechnung inkl. Zuschlägen gibt dem Personalmanagement die notwendige Sicherheit in der täglichen Arbeit. Die Option der weitestgehenden Selbstverwaltung der Mitarbeiter sorgt ebenfalls für Entlastung. Zusätzlich können wir durch ZMI unsere Vorgesetzten mehr in die Personalverwaltung einbeziehen und somit die Eigenverantwortung fördern.

Das Programm ist sehr verständlich. Der Support ist sehr hilfsbereit versucht immer eine Lösung zu finden. Man kann mit ZMI die Projekte gut umsetzen.

Das die gesetzlichen Vorgaben im ZMI immer gepflegt werden ohne Kosten zu verlangen. Ich denke mir das dies zu einen Programm dazugehört.

Die Einbindung der eAU ist im vergleich zur vorher durch uns eingesetzten Lösung simpel und einfach. Die Zeiterfassung und der Webclient sind einfach zu bedienen.

What did you not like?

Das Zeiterfassungsterminal erkennt leider nicht automatisch, ob man kommt oder geht. Dies kenne ich von anderen Systemen anders.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Die elektronische Krankmeldung. Wir haben erstmals die elektronische Zeiterfassung bei uns eingeführt, um die Arbeitszeiten der Mitarbeiter in beide richtungen genau zu erfassen, was in der bisherigen Excel-Lösung nicht gewährleistet war. Zudem kann mit dem System die gesetzlichen Vorgaben im Bereich Arbeitszeit besser eingehalten werden.
