Die Software bietet einen sicheren Dokumententresor, in dem wir alle datenschutzrelevanten Dokumente zentral speichern. Wir haben alle unsere Datenschutzrichtlinien und AV-Verträge in heyData zentral abgelegt. Besonders praktisch ist die automatische Versionierung, mit der Änderungen an Dokumenten nachvollziehbar bleiben. Eine der besten Funktionen ist das automatisierte Audit, das eine Einschätzung unserer Datenschutz-Compliance gibt. Falls Mängel gefunden werden, liefert heyData konkrete To-Dos, um diese zu beheben. Datenschutz ist leider sehr komplex und wir haben kein Inhouse-Team, das sich ausschließlich darum kümmern kann. Daher nutzen wir den externen DSB-Service von heyData. Das gibt uns rechtliche Sicherheit, ohne dass wir eine eigene Vollzeitstelle dafür schaffen müssen.

Manche Prozesse könnten flexibler sein, beispielsweise sind die Schulungen in festen Modulen aufgebaut. Eine individuelle Anpassung an firmenspezifische Datenschutzthemen wäre ein tolles Feature. What did you not like?

As a matter of fact, I have not met a better alternative for this software. I highly value it as the most practical and reliable solution.

heyData has eagle-eye remediate measures to be implemented with process workflows. We use it for risk management, data mapping and encryption, policy and procedure templates, employee training modules, and breach reporting tools. The experience is reputable.

What did you like?

For us, heyData has done wonders in helping us comply with the GDPR. It gets us up and running quickly and with capabilities for managing consent, templates and workflows for privacy assessments like record of processing activity (RoPAs), automation for fast and accurate data subject access requests(DSARs) and more.

What did you not like?

Not having a sandbox to test changes to workflows preproduction or a restore/undo button has been difficult for our teams to manage, making us hesitate to work on significant changes on our own.

This visual tool offers us customizable compliance programs and has been comprehensive enough to deal with all of the risks the company has identified. It is easy to assess the current controls in place to prevent, detect and correct violations.

This software can be fully and easily customized for specific needs. Implementation was very easy and it is easy for us to check real-time compliance. Has GDPR forms and templates which are customizable making it easy to understand. It is easy to integrate this tool with other working tools. It is also easy to practice data protection and enhances remote working saving time and energy for other activities.

What did you like?

This tool is easy to manage. Basically, it has everything well highlighted with emphasis on key areas so that it can be easy to apply.
