What did you like?

Has GDPR forms and templates which are customizable making it easy to understand. It is easy to integrate this tool with other working tools. It is also easy to practice data protection and enhances remote working saving time and energy for other activities.

What did you not like?

It was not easy for me to use encrypted email with GDPR compliance. I experienced difficulty in adding the mails which I had to involve the customer service team. I am glad it is working well now.

This tool is easy to manage. Basically, it has everything well highlighted with emphasis on key areas so that it can be easy to apply. Es ist sehr gut einen persönlichen Ansprechpartner für Datenschutzthemen zu haben. Allgemein bin ich sehr froh mich näher mit dem Thema zu befassen und mich in dieser Hinsicht abgesichert zu fühlen. Außerdem war die Salesberatung nach anfänglichen Komplikationen sehr hilfreich und vor allem angenehm.

Die Kommunikation bezüglich was in der Preiskalkulation als "Eine Website" angesehen wird ist etwas irreführend. Eine Website = gleicher Techstack auf gleichem Server. Hierbei können es also auch 10 oder 100 Websites sein, sofern der Stack und Server identisch sind. Weiterhin würde ich mir einen eher geführten Auditprozess wünschen. Es war teilweise, grade für mich als Inhaber eines sehr kleinen Unternehmens, schwer zu beantworten, welche Tools "in welcher Abteilung" genutzt werden.

Ich bekomme mit heyData kompetente Rechtsberatung und Unterstützung von Experten zu Datenschutzthemen. Außerdem habe ich mit heyData einen offiziellen, externen Datenschutzbeauftragten. Weiterhin bleibe ich durch die regelmäßigen Audits immer auf dem neusten Stand.

Tolle Plattform für unser Datenschutzmanagement. Besonders angetan sind wir von der Möglichkeit der Mitarbeiterschulung. Neue Kollegen werden nun einfach zentral über die Plattform geschult. Keine Termine an anderen Orten. Win-Win für alle Beteiligten. Preis-Leistung spricht natürlich auch für sich, so dass wir HeyData nur empfehlen können.

Der Look and Feel könnte noch etwas verbessert werden. Aber das ist nur kosmetischer Natur. Die Arbeit auf der Plattform funktioniert sehr intuitiv, so dass wir hier eigentlich nichts zu beanstanden haben.

Die jährliche Wiederholung der Schulungen bringt in meinen Augen keine Vorteile. Hier sollte man ggf. über einen längeres Intervall oder eine gekürzte Auffrischung nachdenken.

Wir werden von HeyData immer kompetent und zeitnah beraten und konnten bisher zu jeder Fragestellung in Bezug auf die DSGVO bzw. Datenschutz allgemein eine zufriedenstellende Lösung finden. Über die Plattform können wir Dinge wie Mitarbeiterschulungen zum Datenschutz einfach abbilden.

What did you not like?

Die Kommunikation läuft ausschließlich über E-Mail, teilweise mit wechselnden Ansprechpartnern. Das ist nicht besonders übersichtlich, insbesondere, wenn mehrere Anliegen gleichzeitig bearbeitet werden. Die gesamte UX der HeyData-Plattform ist stark ausbaufähig. Viele Workflows sind unnötig kompliziert implementiert. Es fehlen teilweise offensichtliche Features wie Anzeige des Änderungsdatums und Autors im Dokumententresor oder die Möglichkeit auch eigene Dokumente signieren zu lassen. Ich habe nicht den Eindruck, dass die Plattform in den letzten 9 Monaten verbessert wurde.

Vor dem Audit-Call musste ich mehrere Audit-Bögen ausfüllen. Das ist für große Unternehmen relevant, für mich als Einzelunternehmen war das allerdings nicht sinnvoll. HeyData hat dann aber sehr lösungsorientiert reagiert und das Manko zum Start in einem detaillierten persönlichen Gespräch wett gemacht.

What did you like?

heyData supported us to set up data privacy within our startup from scratch. The onboarding as well as the customer support is excellent and they do answer all our request in very short time. The consulting on different GDPR cases (e.g. contract reviews) is also very professional each time. Furthermore heyData does provide a good platform to store all necessary documentation as well as keep track of employee trainings. We also definitely value the fact, that heyData takes over the role as external data privacy officer for us and we don’t have to hire an additional legal role internally taking care of all those topics. Their pricing is more than competitive for all the services that they are offering. For us, it is the best all-in-one solution currently on the market and we can only recommend this partner.

What did you not like?

Nothing that came to my mind. As mentioned we are very happy with this solution overall.

Als Freiberufler fehlt mir die Zeit - ganz zu schweigen von dem Know-how - um mich mit der Komplexität des Datenschutzes im Rahmen der DSGVO auseinanderzusetzen. Mit HeyData, die ein einfaches Onboarding, einen kompetenten Live-Support und ein praktisches Dashboard bieten, habe ich meinen eigenen Datenschutzbeauftragten gefunden. Das Buchhaltungssystem war am Anfangs teilweise fehlerhaft und die nötigen Korrekturen dauerten etwas lange-> auf entsprechende Kritik wurde aber gut reagiert und die Probleme wurden dauerhaft abgestellt

Having Austira based lawyers or a small heyData setup focusing Austrian market and laws would help. For a couple of topics, we had to internally check with our Austrian lawyers just to be double sure

Der Start mit heyData ist sehr einfach und budgetfreundlich. Erstmalige und fortlaufende Audits sind in der monatlichen Gebühr enthalten, so dass keine wesentlichen Vorauszahlungen anfallen. Die Reaktionszeit und der direkte Kontakt sind schnell und sehr reibungslos. Das Portal gibt einen guten Überblick über alle Datenschutzprobleme, und die regelmäßigen formularbasierten Audits machen es uns leicht, mögliche Probleme zu bewältigen. Ich würde heyData auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

What did you not like?

Im Moment kann ich mir keine signifikante Nachteile vorstellen. In unserem Anwendungsfall konnten wir auch keine identifizieren.

Grade als Start-up ist es nicht leicht am Anfang über sämtliche rechtlichen Voraussetzungen optimal vorbereitet zu sein, dabei hält uns heyData für den Datenschutz, der als Tach-Start-up bei uns natürlich eine große Rolle spielt, den Rücken frei. Zudem erleichtert uns das Portal auch das Dokumentenmanagement, sämtliche Dateien, die Datenschutz betroffen, können wir dort hochladen und haben immer alles direkt abrufbar zusammen.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Erfahrung. Deutlich preiswerter und transparenter als die typischen Anbieter! Es werden alle Möglichkeiten der Digitalisierung konsequent genutzt und man ist auf digitale Unternehmen ausgerichtet.

Mir fällt es echt schwer was negatives zu sagen. Ein Punkt wäre, dass ich es super fände, wenn die Dokumente direkt in der CI des Mandanten angefertigt werden. Aktuell muss man immer das heydata Logo herausfummeln. ;)

Bisher war das Thema Datenschutz eine teure aber notwendige Nebensache unserer unternehmerischen Arbeit, HeyData hat das Thema deutlich vereinfacht.

Das Onboarding ging super schnell und wir wurden ohne Vorwissen durch alle relevanten Punkte durchgeführt. Das Team hat sich viel Zeit genommen um unseren Anwendungsfall korrekt darzustellen und alle Dokumente zu erstellen. Das Preismodell ist aus unserer Sicht fair.

Dokumente werden nur als Word Datei bereitgestellt und kommen immer mit HeyData Logo -> eigenes Branding wünschenswert sowie Bereitstellung als Link. In zwei unserer Dokumente waren Fehler die leider erst uns aufgefallen sind (wurden jedoch sehr schnell korrigiert)

Da hab ich eigentlich nix 🤷‍♂️ Wir hatten bisher noch keinen Fall, bei dem wir mit heyData nicht zufrieden waren.

Nun ja, kontextbedingt lösen wir mit heyData hauptsächlich Fragestellungen im Bereich der personenbezogenen Daten. Hier fühlen wir uns zwar grundsätzlich ganz gut aufgestellt aber im täglichen Betrieb stößt man ja immer wieder mal an Grenzen, an denen das eigene Wissen nicht ausreicht. Und genau über diese Grenzen hat heyData jedes Mal hinweg helfen können.
