Ich finde die Plattform und die strukturierte Vorgehensweise, um Datenschutz in einem Unternehmen aufzusetzen, gut gemacht. Ich denke v.a. für KMU Betriebe ein guter Zugang datenschutzkonform zu agieren. Auch die Schulungsplattform für Mitarbeiter ist hilfreich. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeiter funktioniert sehr strukturiert, modern und verlässlich.

Die Formatierung der Vertragsvorlagen auf Basis der Fragebögen und Checkliste könnte etwas smarter (zB. kleinere Schriftgrößer, klare Überschriftenstruktur, u.ä.) sein und bedarf für eine Weitergabe an Kunden/Partner noch einiger Nacharbeiten.

Die Oberfläche ist stylisch, übersichtlich und intuitiv gestaltet. Selbst ohne spezielles Datenschutz-Know-how finden sich Teammitglieder mühelos zurecht. Die Experten von heyData sind kompetent, pragmatisch und sprechen eine Sprache, die auch Nicht-Juristen verstehen. Alle datenschutzrelevanten Verträge und Dokumente sind übersichtlich gespeichert und jederzeit abrufbar, was uns viel administrativen Aufwand erspart.

Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn die Plattform erweiterte Analysen oder Berichte bieten würde, um Datenschutzrisiken besser identifizieren zu können. Während die Beratung grundsätzlich sehr stark ist, gibt es gelegentlich Fälle, in denen uns eher allgemeine Antworten geliefert wurden, statt direkt auf unser spezifisches Problem einzugehen. Gerade für kleinere Unternehmen könnte die monatliche Gebühr eine Hürde sein.

Wir haben heyData als zentrale Lösung für unseren Datenschutzmanagement-Prozess implementiert. Die Plattform übernimmt für uns die Dokumentation und Verwaltung aller datenschutzrelevanten Prozesse und Verträge. Besonders wertvoll ist für uns die digitale Schulung der Mitarbeitenden. Wir müssen nicht mehr regelmäßig manuelle Datenschutztrainings durchführen, sondern können das über die Plattform abwickeln und haben direkt einen Nachweis über absolvierte Schulungen. Außerdem fungiert heyData als unser externer Datenschutzbeauftragter, was uns Zeit und Ressourcen spart. Die Beratung durch die Experten ist professionell, fundiert und praxisnah.

Die Plattform bietet einen strukturierten Überblick über alle datenschutzrelevanten Prozesse, Dokumente und Aufgaben. Besonders hilfreich ist das digitale Audit, mit dem wir schnell feststellen können, in welchen Bereichen es Optimierungsbedarf gibt. Ein weiteres großer Pluspunkt sind die Schulungsangebote. Zwar sind die Datenschutzexperten von heyData sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit, doch in dringenden Fällen wünschen wir uns manchmal eine noch schnellere Reaktionszeit. Gerade in einer Branche wie unserer, wo Datenschutzverstöße schwerwiegende Konsequenzen haben können, ist eine schnelle Lösung essenziell.

Über heyData können wir unsere Mitarbeiter regelmäßig schulen und sie erhalten direkt Zertifikate als Nachweis. Dies stärkt nicht nur unser internes Datenschutzbewusstsein, sondern auch unsere Compliance. Einige spezifische Anforderungen aus dem Medizinproduktebereich erforderten Anpassungen, die nicht immer sofort umsetzbar waren. Hier wäre eine noch flexiblere Konfigurierbarkeit wünschenswert. Während der Support grundsätzlich kompetent und hilfreich ist, haben wir gelegentlich mal längere Wartezeiten bei Anfragen schon erlebt.

Als Geschäftsführer ist mir Datenschutz nicht nur eine gesetzliche Notwendigkeit, sondern eine fundamentale Verantwortung gegenüber unseren Kunden, Partnern und Mitarbeitern. Gerade als Hersteller von Medizinprodukten sind wir verpflichtet, personenbezogene Daten mit höchster Sorgfalt zu behandeln. Bei der Suche nach einer Lösung, die uns dabei unterstützt, Datenschutz effizient und transparent zu managen, sind wir auf heyData gestoßen und nach einer ausgiebigen Testphase haben wir uns bewusst für diese Plattform entschieden. Der wohl größte Vorteil der Plattform liegt in der strukturierten und digitalen Verwaltung aller relevanten Datenschutzdokumente. Wir müssen uns nicht mehr durch unübersichtliche Papierberge oder unklare Prozesse kämpfen, alles ist zentral abrufbar und stets aktuell.

This is a complete set of solutions to make our organization complaint with the law, across multiple languages and legislations. Provides us with clear disclosure about our data processing activities and respect consumer rights ensuring that our practices align transparently with the required standards. heyData is explainable, consistent and to the point assessments backed up by evidence. It is a perfect fit for Automating risk decisions and synchronizing the risk assessment with our systems.

What did you not like?

There was one issue setting up cookiebot in that the default consent signals weren't set to decline by default, which meant that cookie consent didn't work out of the box.

heyData takes the complexity out of technical compliance, enabling us to achieve growth and speed to market more quickly and with greater confidence. We can instantly retrieve and compare the most important requirements.

Die Software bietet einen sicheren Dokumententresor, in dem wir alle datenschutzrelevanten Dokumente zentral speichern. Wir haben alle unsere Datenschutzrichtlinien und AV-Verträge in heyData zentral abgelegt. Besonders praktisch ist die automatische Versionierung, mit der Änderungen an Dokumenten nachvollziehbar bleiben. Eine der besten Funktionen ist das automatisierte Audit, das eine Einschätzung unserer Datenschutz-Compliance gibt. Falls Mängel gefunden werden, liefert heyData konkrete To-Dos, um diese zu beheben. Datenschutz ist leider sehr komplex und wir haben kein Inhouse-Team, das sich ausschließlich darum kümmern kann. Daher nutzen wir den externen DSB-Service von heyData. Das gibt uns rechtliche Sicherheit, ohne dass wir eine eigene Vollzeitstelle dafür schaffen müssen.

Manche Prozesse könnten flexibler sein, beispielsweise sind die Schulungen in festen Modulen aufgebaut. Eine individuelle Anpassung an firmenspezifische Datenschutzthemen wäre ein tolles Feature. Zwar funktioniert die Plattform mobil, aber eine richtige App mit Push-Benachrichtigungen für dringende Datenschutz-Aufgaben wäre praktisch.

Seit Anfang 2023 setzen wir heyData in unserem Unternehmen ein, um Datenschutzanforderungen effizient zu managen, Compliance-Risiken zu minimieren und den internen Verwaltungsaufwand zu reduzieren. Die Implementierung von heyData begann mit einem digitalen Audit, das uns half, bestehende Datenschutzlücken zu identifizieren. Dieses Audit war unkompliziert und ermöglichte es uns, schnell einen Überblick über unsere aktuelle Datenschutzsituation zu erhalten. heyData has eagle-eye remediate measures to be implemented with process workflows. We use it for risk management, data mapping and encryption, policy and procedure templates, employee training modules, and breach reporting tools. The experience is reputable.

What did you like?

For us, heyData has done wonders in helping us comply with the GDPR. It gets us up and running quickly and with capabilities for managing consent, templates and workflows for privacy assessments like record of processing activity (RoPAs), automation for fast and accurate data subject access requests(DSARs) and more.

What did you not like?

Not having a sandbox to test changes to workflows preproduction or a restore/undo button has been difficult for our teams to manage, making us hesitate to work on significant changes on our own.

This visual tool offers us customizable compliance programs and has been comprehensive enough to deal with all of the risks the company has identified. It is easy to assess the current controls in place to prevent, detect and correct violations.

This software can be fully and easily customized for specific needs. Implementation was very easy and it is easy for us to check real-time compliance. Also, we can conduct faster and more accurate testing to evaluate controls, manage issues and demonstrate our effectiveness. What did you like?

It helps to solve compliance challenges using smart and AI powered software systems. Another feature I like is anonymous whistleblowing system for complaint management according to the EU whistleblowing directive. As a Policy Advisor, I would highly recommend heyData.

What did you not like?

Nothing serious. heyData performance is excellent. It goes an extra mile by training users on compliance and risk management.

What did you like?

There is assurance for secure and sustainable compliance with the GDPR for us. heyData has a team of experts and AI that makes it easy to learn the basics of the new AI regulations, the risk categories and what the company needs to do to be compliant.

What did you not like?

The challenges I faced during installation delayed implementation. I was using an old device which became hard for me to install. Things changed when I purchased a new device. It is great.

There is always time to work on hobbies and weaknesses since heyData has taken up all the worries concerning data protection. What did you like?

Has GDPR forms and templates which are customizable making it easy to understand. It is easy to integrate this tool with other working tools. It is also easy to practice data protection and enhances remote working saving time and energy for other activities.

What did you not like?

It was not easy for me to use encrypted email with GDPR compliance. I experienced difficulty in adding the mails which I had to involve the customer service team. I am glad it is working well now.

What did you like?

This tool is easy to manage. Basically, it has everything well highlighted with emphasis on key areas so that it can be easy to apply.
