What did you like?

What I love most about WorkMotion is the freedom it gives me to work for companies from abroad, no matter where I am in the world. I didn’t have to relocate or deal with complicated legal paperwork—WorkMotion handled everything, from my contract to compliance with local labor laws. Getting paid in my local currency, with full benefits and security, gives me peace of mind. The process was smooth, and support was always there when I had questions. Thanks to WorkMotion, I get to work remotely for an amazing company while staying in the country I call home.

What did you not like?

If I had to point out a downside, it would be that some processes, like contract approvals or payroll adjustments, can take longer than expected due to local compliance regulations. While WorkMotion handles everything smoothly, there are occasional delays that can be frustrating, especially when waiting for salary payments or document updates. Also, since everything is done through a third party, communication between my employer and WorkMotion isn’t always seamless, which can create some back-and-forth. That said, their support team is helpful, and once things are set up, it’s mostly a hassle-free experience.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

WorkMotion has been a game-changer for me. The biggest benefit is that I get to work for an international company without needing to relocate or worry about visa issues. They handle all the legal and compliance aspects, ensuring that my contract aligns with local labor laws, which gives me job security and peace of mind. I also get paid in my local currency with proper benefits like health insurance and paid leave—something that’s often tricky when working remotely for a foreign company. Plus, taxes and social security contributions are handled correctly, so I don’t have to stress about paperwork.

What did you like?

The onboarding process was super fast and the teams knowledge about specific requirements in Spain (especially to do with Visas) was really great. The support team is also super helpful and respond to questions really fast with accurate and knowledgeable responses.

What did you not like?

Expense management could be improved to allow for receipts to be emailed in or scanned with an app. Also, as far as I know, there is not an integration with Humaans (HRIS), so team members need to input their PTO in both apps as they don't sync so an integration with Humaans would be a really great improvement!

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Without WorkMotion as the EoR, my company wouldn't be able to employ me in the country I reside in as they don't have a local entity. The alternative for me would've been to become a freelancer which was not an option.

What did you like?

We have used both the solutions (WorkGlobal EOR as well as WorkDirect) and never faced any issues with service or compliance or different processing workflows like payroll, time tracking, expenses as well as end-to-end integrations with different online partners.

What did you not like?

We faced some minor online bugs in 2023 but they were clarified and resolved by the support teams within few working days. Have not faced any issues recently and no issues that cannot be resolved by the support team.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Employment with employers that do not have their own legal business entities and offices in countries like Germany.

What did you like?

Workmotion made it possible for me to continue the job I love while working abroad. The process was easy and I get fast & attentive support for any topics coming up while adjusting to this new situation in a new country.

What did you not like?

Up until now I haven't made any negative experiences. Every now and then it would be nice to be able to connect a face/a person and have a check-in via call in the beginning, but that's nothing major.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Being able to work for a German company while living in Spain wasn't easy before, workmotion made it possible to make this an "correct" process so that I can be officially registered and contracted in Spain without huge effort & costs for my employer or me.

Am besten hat uns gefallen, dass WorkMotion auf alle Fragen sehr schnell eingeht und gemeinsam nach Lösungen gesucht wird. Der Kundenservice ist sehr freundlich und Kundenorientiert.

What did you not like?

Nicht alle Wünsche können durch die örtlichen arbeitsrechtlichen Vorgaben abgebildet werden. Aber WorkMotion ist bemüht darum, gemeinsam nach praktikablen Lösungen zu suchen.

Ein Mitarbeiter zieht nach Polen und das Unternehmen und kann mit WorkMotion rechtlich korrekt von dort aus für das Unternehmen arbeiten.

What did you like?

the Webversion is easy to use. Also, the support was good and helpful. No hiding behind standard phrases but giving usfull answers.

What did you not like?

Working as an employee of record means, that you have to wait for reimbursement. thats not directly about workmotion but about the construct itself.

Working for a company located in another country.

What did you like?

WorkMotion has a very good support. The response time is low. It is easy too use. Wishes of useres are taken sereously.

What did you not like?

Complicated issues like debugging an data update problem could be processed a bit faster, although it was still quite good.

Employing workers worldwide without worring about compling to local juristriction.
