What did you like?

If I could summarize three things that I like, here are the things: 1) Super convenient and straightforward to use software, no jargons or high technical words used in this apps. 2) Great UI: I love the UI and very convenient to my eyes. 3) Helping facilitate my job: I find it easy to submit my leave application and also can easily access my payroll info.

I think it's lack of options to authenticate my account. At the moment i receive the code through email. I wish in future, they can allow me to authenticate via 2FA authenticator or through phone number for example.

When working with workmotion all of the necesities are done remotely without any further need to pick up some letters or sign something in person. The whole onboarding and document provided was easy. When I'm in need for explaining something or providing some document f.e. for a bank it goes super quickly and sometimes I was surprised how fast some documents were provided.

What did you not like?

Not the worst thing, but sometimes it might be not the most useful solution, but I understand the complexity of the situation. In order to be reimbursed for some spendings they have to be submitted till 5th day of the month if you miss this deadline than it will take up to almost 2 months for those spendings to get reimbursed.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Whenever I'm in need of having some documents provided it goes really fast to get the full information back.

WorkMotion really is the all-in-one solution if you’re planning to work abroad. My payroll always arrives on time—never had a delay. I’m based in Spain and honestly have no clue how most of the bureaucracy works here, but their local experts take care of everything. I recently went on parental leave and it couldn’t have been easier. I just opened a ticket and it was all handled super quickly. After seeing how smooth it was for me, two of my friends decided to use WorkMotion too.

The WorkMotion platform is easy to use. Customer service is very reliable and fast. Every single case I have had in the last 3 years of using WorkMotion has been quickly solved. The process of submitting days off, certificates, or any other documents is well-implemented, and I use it frequently enough to say it works well.

What did you not like?

The time tracking feature isn't clear. Lack of possibility to view records of past months limits the ability to correct any errors. It is hard to modify the number of vacation days if it is greater than the number coming from the country regulations.

Thanks to WorkMotion, I can work for the company in one country while living in another EU country, where my employer doesn't have a branch. What did you like?

WorkMotion made something that can feel overwhelming—working for a company in another country—surprisingly smooth. I didn’t have to worry about local laws, taxes, or paperwork, because everything was taken care of. Knowing that they handle the legal side of my employment gave me real peace of mind, especially as someone living abroad.

What did you not like?

The platform sometimes sends automated updates that made me unsure whether I needed to do something or just wait. It would be helpful if those messages included a short “next steps” or “nothing to do” note to reduce uncertainty.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

I needed a way to legally work for a German company while living in the UK, without the stress of setting up my own legal entity or dealing with international employment laws. WorkMotion solved that by handling everything on the employer's side—contracts, taxes, compliance, and soon my pension too. The biggest benefit for me has been peace of mind. I can focus on my work without constantly wondering if I’m “doing everything right” from a legal or tax perspective.

What did you like?

Great customer support, which is reflected in quick answers to questions and open tickets by competent Workmotion employees. Fast processing of changes and enquiries.

What did you not like?

At first it was a bit unusual not to communicate by e-mail, but directly via the ticket system in Workmotion. However, this has the advantage of being able to easily track the entire communication and processing status of the enquiry.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It allows me to work from my country of choice and carry out my activities for a company in another country.

What did you like?

Personally, what I like the most is the very intuitive tools they provide to make remote working easy and feasible. Also, that they take care of all the legal concerns so that the employee can just focus on working and their customer support is effective and fast.

What did you not like?

I'd love if they provided SMS and TOTP as additional 2FA authentication options since the only one available at the moment is email and this could be easily hacked.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

I can work for my German employer and get the same benefits as if I lived in Germany but working from Spain

What did you like?

WorkMotion provides a very intuitive interface that makes it easy to access relevant employee information across countries. I particularly appreciate how quickly their support team responds to tickets, especially given the complexities that come with managing international employment—where each country (and sometimes even regions within a country) has its own set of rules and processes

What did you not like?

The time tracking feature could be more user-friendly and intuitive. It takes some time to get used to, and the user experience might not be as smooth as other parts of the platform. Additionally, it would be really helpful if this feature could be integrated with other internal systems—right now, I need to record time in multiple platforms: one for WorkMotion and another one for internal tracking, which leads to duplicated efforts.

What did you like?

The onboarding process was super fast and the teams knowledge about specific requirements in Spain (especially to do with Visas) was really great. The support team is also super helpful and respond to questions really fast with accurate and knowledgeable responses.

What did you not like?

Expense management could be improved to allow for receipts to be emailed in or scanned with an app. Also, as far as I know, there is not an integration with Humaans (HRIS), so team members need to input their PTO in both apps as they don't sync so an integration with Humaans would be a really great improvement!

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Without WorkMotion as the EoR, my company wouldn't be able to employ me in the country I reside in as they don't have a local entity. The alternative for me would've been to become a freelancer which was not an option.

What did you like?

We have used both the solutions (WorkGlobal EOR as well as WorkDirect) and never faced any issues with service or compliance or different processing workflows like payroll, time tracking, expenses as well as end-to-end integrations with different online partners.

What did you not like?

We faced some minor online bugs in 2023 but they were clarified and resolved by the support teams within few working days. Have not faced any issues recently and no issues that cannot be resolved by the support team.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Employment with employers that do not have their own legal business entities and offices in countries like Germany.
