What did you like?
It is very quick and easy to upload and share files securely within my network. This is very important given the confidentiality of the work I do. I also like the file structure system I can see on the left. It helps me navigate through my files efficiently. The software integrates well within our network and can be used with our security measures.
What did you not like?
I feel that the interface could do with a facelift. Currently, the user experience is very bland and sometimes is interrupt the user's journey. I have found that wen I just share a secure link and not a secure link with a password it doesn't work and the recipient can not access the files.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
The main problem we have is data security and sharing files safely so that external parties can not access them. Services like WeTransfer are therefore redundant for us as the security is not high enough. Engyte allows me and my colleagues to overcome that problem and make sure we maintain our security. Sharing files safely.
What did you like?
Egnyte hat ein intuitives Webinterface. Besonders hilfreich ist insbesondere die Möglichkeit über das Webinterface Files zu durchsuchen (zB PDFs / Words). Das Syncen der Files funktioniert auch fehlerfrei.
What did you not like?
Wenn man offline arbeitet (bspw. Unterwegs), sind Egnyte Files oft trotz vorherigem Download nicht vollständig verfügbar und Performance von Office Anwendungen leidet (speed). Auch die Co-Authoring Funktion ist nicht so intuitiv wie bspw mit Sharepoint
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Drittanbieter (ausserhalb Microsoft Ecosystem) fuer Filestorage / Backup. Sehr gutes Online Interface und Moeglichkeit alle Daten auch mobil (IPad / IPhone) abzurufen (bei guter Internetverbindung).

What did you like?
Man kann ganz einfach Dateien verschicken, die beispielsweise zu groß für eine Email sind. Man lädt die Dokumente hoch und verschickt einen Link zum Download mit Passwort, für dieses kann man außerdem auswählen wann es abläuft. Ohne IT Experte zu sein, wirkt es recht sicher und trotzdem einfach auf mich.
What did you not like?
Wir benutzen es wirklich nur zum Teilen von Dateien und dafür ist es super. Manchmal vielleicht etwas langsam und das Interface könnte intuitiver sein, aber insgesamt für unsere Zwecke vollkommen in Ordnung.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Teilen großer Dateien, die man früher wahrscheinlich mit USB Stick transportiert hat :) der Passwortschutz ist besonders gut.
