What did you like?

Bloomreach is very easy to use without compromising on power. Any level of user can feel comfortable within this platform. It has a wide range of features and available integrations.

What did you not like?

It lacks the possibility of having standardized contents such as headers and footers. If you, for example, want to change your email footer this has to be done for every single template. In automated scenario's it is not possible to see which customers are currently in that scenario. This makes troubleshooting business critical scenario's a pain.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bringing in data from multiple sources throughout our business and easily executing marketing campaigns with that data. Before this took a marketeer, a data specialist and a developer. Now this can al be done from our marketing and CX departments.

What did you not like?

Some minor things really - for example when duplicating entries it gives the duplicate exactly the same name. Wouldn't it be great if this could be identified as a duplicate - e.g. by having 'copy' appended to the title?

Well targeted and segmented emails. Good options for on platform personalisations based on customer attributes.

What did you like?

Bloomreach is intuitive and the interface is very user-friendly. The platform is also fast, flexible and flows can be highly customized.

What did you not like?

The reports and dashboards section is a bit less user friendly and less straight-forward. The data tracking is sometimes also confusing.

What did you like?

Nothing special for now at least, since we are in the implementation phase. And hopefully we will not experience any issues when we are live either.

Bloomreach is a very easy to use platform, with a lot of documentation to help you if you needed it. The team is super supportive and help you resolve an issue until the end. There is a lot of pre-made case studies to help you if needed.

What did you not like?

There use to be a urgency button when 'raising a ticket', however this is no longer an option. There has been some times where we have urgently been in need of someone to contact, and have had to wait. Other than that, the team is very supportive when they do respond and very helpful and understanding.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

A lot of our reporting has been solved through using Bloomreach. Before Bloomreach, our reports were very minimal and manual and we was not able to understand our customer database as well. Now, I feel like we know our customer database very well, all from the useful reports we can make through Bloomreach.

What do you like best about Bloomreach? What I like most about Bloomreach is its flexibility and the ability to bring customer data, segmentation, automation, and customer journeys together in one platform. It allows us to create more relevant customer experiences while reducing manual work. I also appreciate how scalable the platform is—there always seems to be another way to improve or optimize what you’re doing. Another aspect that stands out is the customer support. As someone who was relatively new to the platform, I received a lot of guidance from the Customer Success and Support teams. Many times, what initially seemed like a limitation turned out to have a solution once we reached out and asked. That level of support has made a big difference in helping us unlock the value of the platform. What do you dislike about Bloomreach? Because Bloomreach is such a powerful and flexible platform, there is a learning curve. It can take time to fully understand the data structure, reporting capabilities, and all the possibilities available within the platform. I would also like to see stronger deliverability monitoring, particularly around spam and suppression management. More proactive alerts and visibility into potential deliverability issues would help teams identify and resolve problems faster.

With Bloomreach, we have been able to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and build more sophisticated customer journeys. Having key CRM capabilities in one platform has also improved visibility into customer engagement and made it easier to act on customer insights. The biggest benefit for our team has been the ability to spend less time on operational tasks and more time focusing on optimization, testing, and improving the customer experience. Bloomreach has given us a stronger foundation for personalization and long-term customer engagement.

I really enjoy the scenario builder. It is a lot quicker and more flexible than anything I have used before. I feel like I can build very complex workflows in a fraction of the time to what I have before.

What did you not like?

Some menus are a little too hidden e.g. email assets in the asset manager. However, once you get used to it, it's absolutely fine.

Speed and ease of use. Whereas before we needed skilled developers to build even the most moderately difficult scenario, now all of our team will be able to achieve this.

How easy Bloomreach is to use, with highly skilled BC's & TC's on hand to support and loom AI for 24/7 support with insights & reporting. Bloomreach has a wide array of use cases available to download in the platform, it's so easy to unlock personalisation features and scale across your automations for quick wins that drive positive performance.

What did you not like?

It would be great to see Loomi AI developed to support with marketing requests, I find it difficult to write jinja for personalisation within copy in marketing campaigns, having looms AI to be able to do this for us would be amazing

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Peronsalisation, contextual personalisation has allowed us to deliver more hyper personalised experiences within our automations, without having to do the guess work. It assigns the relevant experience or communication to customers with AI, that learns while the experience is live & also looks at the customers profile.

What did you like?

The UI of the Engagement platform is super intuitive, it is easy for us to create master templates and transfer these to production projects, APIs are easy to connect to and offers flexibility in data structure. Built for marketeers!

What did you not like?

Event-based license model makes it difficult to predict costs. Funcionality-wise we have met very few limitations until now.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Marketing coordinators saves a lot of time setting up campaigns as platform is super intuitive, it's easy for us to roll-out new initiatives since event triggers are easily created and duplicated across projects. Time to market is significantly reduced with Bloomreach and it is in general much easier for us to maintain content across projects. Also, platform flexibility allows you to build necessary customer profile views, segments and reports.

What did you like?

What I like best is the flexibility of the platform for customer segmentation, personalisation and marketing automation. When compared to similar systems it's far more capable, well designed and good to use, the team is very responsive to queries and the AI features seem to be developed with care and confidence

What did you not like?

Some UI issues are still there, not being able to see the full names of nodes in preview etc, I think the complexity means you should double check everything, more useful features are not touted heavily enough

Still in the learning stages but it does require a technical skillset to play around with Jinja so that part is not fully drag and drop per say.

What did you like?

What I like best about Bloomreach is how intuitive and easy the platform is to use. Moving to a completely new system could have been time-consuming, but it was very quick to learn and become confident with, which made the transition much smoother for our team. The efficiency gains have been huge compared to our previous platform. Tasks that used to take several hours, like building emails and setting up campaigns, can now be completed in a fraction of the time thanks to the ability to duplicate and adapt existing events and scenarios so easily. I also really value the level of visibility and insight the platform provides. Being able to track a customer’s full journey — from entering an email queue, to receiving communications, and seeing the related activity on their account — gives us a much clearer understanding of customer behaviour and campaign performance.

What did you not like?

The only downside I’ve found is that some areas of the platform can feel slightly hidden within others. For example, scenario emails need to be built directly within the scenario itself, which can sometimes make testing a little more difficult for our team. Aside from that, the platform has been very straightforward and easy to work with.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bloomreach has helped us solve several efficiency and workflow challenges within our marketing team. Previously, creating emails often required support from developers, designers, or more technical team members, which slowed down the process and created additional dependencies. With Bloomreach, marketers are able to build and manage campaigns much more independently, while also significantly reducing the time needed to create and launch emails. The platform has also improved our ability to deliver personalised content at scale. Using catalogs has streamlined the way we manage dynamic and targeted content, removing the need for the more manual and custom-built personalisation processes we previously relied on. This makes it much easier to ensure the right content reaches the right customers in a more efficient and scalable way.

What did you like?

You can optimise your customer data through endless aggregates and expressions, and then use these figures to personalise the customer experience through recommendations. Building emails is a breeze whether that be using HTML, or the drag and drop function. The adoption of AI is appreciated as it's not just used for the sake of it, but to enhance current offerings. Overall, Bloomreach is an intuitive, inviting platform and a pleasure to use. I also can't fault their customer service who go out of their way to help and are always speedy to respond.

What did you not like?

The visualisation of reporting could be improved. It's not the end of the world, as I can export the data and create graphs on Excel or Power BI, but would be nice to have more customisation options available on Bloomreach.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Understanding the customer's desires and adapting our strategy based on metrics we create within Bloomreach. We've improved open rate, click rate, conversion, AOV all over various automated programmes by analysing the customer in such depth and taking them on the correct customer journey.

The fairly simple structure of the data (User+Properties+Events) allows us to connect the tool to everything, from Veeva to external chatbot tools to our own developed portals.

What did you not like?

In some areas the tool is not 100% mature (e.g. surveys, visual editor in banners), but so far we haven't encountered anything that has stopped us.

I love how intuitive the UI is!! New team members can jump right in, no need for those long onboarding sessions. Also, as an employee of a fast paced environment with last minute requests, Bloomreach's ease of use makes it possible for me to still deliver quickly with perfect results. Great speed, deliverability, automation, visual builder, multi-language campaigns, etc! You think it, you have it!!

What did you not like?

Honestly nothing.. the technical team might have a bit of a learning curve at the beginning for the setup, but Bloomreach team is super supportive and readily available, so once everything is in place, it's super straightforward and I can't fault it in any way.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

I can automate and personalise player communication at scale, ensuring that players at different activity stages can receive relevant messaging without manual intervention. The setup is extremely visual and intuitive allowing me to easily create the relevant logic, run A/B tests to optimise engagement and segment users based in any criteria I want. This means time saving, higher KPIs and ability to NEVER miss a deadline.

Your remarkably innovative approach to standardizing customer data is truly impressive. It is currently not possible to upload large numbers of templates simultaneously if they are available in different languages. This means that each template must be uploaded individually, which makes the process considerably more time-consuming and less efficient, especially when working with a large number of language variants.

The main problem is that templates have to be uploaded individually for each language, which makes the process unnecessarily complex and time-consuming. However, thanks to Bloomreach's support, we have been able to make significant progress: they have helped us to effectively standardize our customer data, which in turn has greatly simplified and optimized the delivery of our templates.

I like it's flexibility, and all the segmentation and automation options it offers. I like how the html are easy to create.

What did you not like?

Sometimes it's a bit too complex to understand, seems makes things more complicated than expected. The reporting part, although it offers you total flexibility, is not very user friendly, it takes time to get use to it.

What did you like?

The flexibility of the data model, especially with regard to identifiers, the very user-friendly interface and the reporting, which is underestimated by many. The chat support is also very fast and helpful.

What did you not like?

The interface can be overwhelming for beginners. In addition to Academy, which unfortunately is only available in English, it would be great to have instructions/a tutorial in the interface.

Mit dem Tool konnten wir unser veraltetes Newsletter Marketing Tool absetzen und einen großen Schritt in Richtung Marketing Intelligence gehen. Bloomreach dient bei uns als zentrales Tool für unsere Kundendaten, von der aus wir die Daten in Richtung E-Mail, Weblyers, Browser Push, aber auch Performance Marketing Kanäle aktivieren. Der Support des Bloomreach-Teams und deren Integrationspartnern ist hervorragend.

What did you not like?

Es gibt eigentlich nichts zu kritisieren. Das Abrechnungsmodell auf Event-Basis könnte etwas flexibler sein. Anstatt zu versuchen, permanent Events zu reduzieren, um weiterhin auf einer Abrechnungsstufe zu sein, würde ich lieber die komplette Power des Tools nutzen und damit erstmal keine Zeit verschwenden wollen.

Lückenlose, effektive Sammlung von Kundendaten. Aggration der Daten und anschließende Aktivierung. Mit den Daten können wir sehr granular segmentieren und die Zufriedenheit unserer Kunden verbessern.

What I value most is the tremendous flexibility in segmentation. The ability to create aggregates and formulas allows for almost limitless precise targeting. Particularly impressive is that multiple channels can be seamlessly connected within a single scenario, enabling complex automations. The reporting features, including funnels and dashboards, are intuitively designed and provide all the essential tools, making analysis and evaluation highly efficient.

What did you not like?

The usability of uploaded catalogs (documents) heavily depends on their formatting. If a field contains multiple values (e.g., several article numbers), searching for a specific value is not straightforward. Additionally, the documentation has its limits when it comes to very specific use cases. In such cases, one relies on support, which, however, is reliable and provides effective assistance.

Bloomreach enables highly personalized yet automated communication. This allows campaigns to be scaled efficiently without losing relevance for individual customers. In combination with catalogs, even very complex use cases can be implemented, such as dynamic product recommendations, individual trigger emails, or multi-step customer journeys across multiple channels. This saves time, reduces manual work, and at the same time significantly enhances the customer experience.

Not enough pre set performance reports that would allow easy acress to data on the go. report creation process is overwhelming

What did you like?

All the automation and scenario capabilities, the CRM is really great too and the customer success teams are helpful. The ease of designing templates and modification is also great, the custom rows/blocks work well for teams to align.

What did you not like?

The survey results need to be reworked, I currently have to create complex excel files to re-work all the data. Maybe a lack of non e-commerce features/functionalities or documentation.

Email automation and customer reactivation strategies. Pluging and automating the customer data with email strategies is really great.

What did you like?

Bloomreach is the modern day CDP - comparing to other competitors I've used in the past, Bloomreach are by far the most user friendly platform. What once took an age in another platform (e.g. running segments), now take seconds (and you can even get AI to do it for you!). The Bloomreach consultancy team are also brilliant - always on hand to help with any last minute wild request.

What did you not like?

My only dislike with Bloomreach is that I don't have enough time in the day to learn and explore all of its possibilities!

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bloomreach has aided in all areas of business from team productivity to new opportunities. On the team side of things, the speed and ease at which we can use the platform help us in our everyday tasks. With new opportunities we have been able to expand into new channels such as WhatsApp & Weblayers, and looking to branch out to App Inbox.

It is by far the best CRM, Marketing Automation and Gen AI tool we have used, which keeps on giving. We have been able to acheive some great results so far. Their customer support team and integration team have been extremely helpful.

To be very honest there is not very much to dislike because this platform provides so many advanced features for marketers that there is nothing to compare it to at the moment.

What did you like?

The easy to use user-interface that makes everything from creating email & SMS campaigns to detailed analytic reports easy to do and understand. The depth of customer data we can retrieve from the platform is better than any CRM platform I have used in the past.

What did you not like?

Addressing the elephant in the room, it is not the cheapest CRM solution out there, but having used a host of other providers in the past, I would never now be without Bloomreach. It has already been a deciding factor in my career when deciding which company to join.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Before we partnered with Bloomreach we had an ESP, SMS platform, and relied solely on Google Analytics for all reporting. Now that we are with Bloomreach, we are going to be able to pull together each of these solutions to one platform. The support that Bloomreach provides in the form of weekly sync calls, consistently analysing our offering and suggesting out of the box automations & dashboards that will supercharge our performance, and business intelligence.

The super-flexible email designer makes editing to tight deadlines easy. Alongside the intuitive scenario builder you can be master of your email sends.

What did you not like?

Asset management is only functional and could be a bit faster. It's a small price to pay however.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Changing layouts in emails and being able to A/B test them with a quick turnaround. Being able to template from any design and being able to save and reuse modular parts of designs. Language adaptations are also easy.
