Was wirklich beeindruckt, ist, wie viel man tatsächlich damit erreichen kann, sobald man sich damit vertraut gemacht hat. Es ist extrem leistungsstark, wenn es um Personalisierung und Customer Journeys geht, und hat uns wirklich dabei geholfen, die Kundenbindung zu verbessern und Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Mir gefällt auch, dass es viele Daten und Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten an einem Ort vereint, sodass man nicht ständig zwischen verschiedenen Tools hin- und herspringen muss. Sobald man verstanden hat, wie es funktioniert, wird es zu einem Werkzeug, auf das man sich täglich verlassen und das man mit Zuversicht skalieren kann.

Am Anfang gibt es definitiv eine gewisse Lernkurve, da die Plattform nicht auf Anhieb besonders intuitiv ist. Bloomreach allows us to segment our customers with high precision, making our campaigns far more relevant and targeted. Another strength is the clear data foundation, which gives us full transparency to measure performance and continuously optimize our campaigns.

What did you not like?

Sometimes the design of web layers can feel a bit complicated, especially when it comes to adjusting layouts. Also, personalization often requires working with Jinja coding, which can be challenging if you are not familiar with it. At the same time, I see this as a positive aspect because once you master Jinja, it unlocks powerful personalization opportunities that other tools don’t offer.

What did you like?

The unified data platform is easily our favorite feature. It gives us a single, consolidated view of all our customer data, so we don't have to waste time manually moving it between systems. This allows us to trigger real-time, personalized campaigns, leading to much higher engagement rates because every message is genuinely relevant. The powerful automation has also been a game-changer. We can set up complex, cross-channel customer journeys for Email, App-Push, and Weblayers just once, which saves our team an immense amount of manual work. It's invaluable because it frees us up to focus on strategy instead of day-to-day tasks. Finally, the integrated Recommendation Engine is outstanding. The AI-powered recommendations we generate are incredibly precise and directly boost revenue. It's so easy to integrate these recommendations into our campaigns, which is a major strength that has led to a clear increase in our average order value.

What did you not like?

While the platform is mostly intuitive, some advanced features can be a challenge to learn. For example, building complex segments using expressions can be a bit tricky, and we feel the documentation and user interface could be improved to make the learning process faster. Another area for improvement is reporting. The standard dashboards are great for daily use, but if we need to build very specific or custom reports for in-depth analysis, it can be a hassle. We often have to export the data and use an external BI tool, which interrupts our workflow. Finally, the scalability of costs is something to be mindful of. As our customer base and event volume grow, so do the costs. The pricing structure could be more transparent in certain areas to help us better forecast our long-term operating expenses.

Our project implementation met all deadlines. - Ease of use: Compared to our previous CDXP solution, we cut training time for new employees from months to weeks. Our time from idea to implementation was reduced by ~70%, simply because Bloomreach is easy to use and accessible. - Native omnichannel functionality: Targeting a customer across multiple channels has never been easier. Leveraging all our tools and analysis capabilities across all channels at the same time, makes scaling easy.

What did you not like?

- Prone to bloat: No efficient folder structure in the UI makes for a cluttered and chaotic environment - Barebones HTML email editor: Could use upgrading - Catalog instability: handling is clunky and slow as import instances are shared among regions, critical imports were delayed for hours

- To avoid bottlenecking, we needed an environment that could be used both code-free and code-heavy to leverage all employee types. Very quick integration. Ecommerce projects can be fully integrated within 1 month - all analytics and all campaigns. Access to raw data and custom models. Clean and understandable UI. Professional AI features that always brings ROI. Perfect tool for all kind of businesses, number 1 platform without real competition.

What did you not like?

Pricing can be high, some features are hard to understand for new people. It's easy to make integration process wrong if not experienced in this field, which is harder to fix easily.

What did you like?

Everything seems to work as you would expect it to in Bloomreach, which is unusual for a software platform. The entire platform is very logical and intuitive, and makes tasks which are complex on other platforms extremely easy to implement, monitor and optimise. It is a very flexible platform that integrates with our wider tech stack with relative ease. All of the stakeholders in the technology, data and marketing teams are enjoying using the platform and pushing its capabilities. Highlights are the scenario builder, real-time data processing and the segmentation capabilities.

What did you not like?

We haven't found an area that we dislike at this stage. The one area that I would like to see improvements is having more consideration for lead-gen businesses (e.g. use case scenarios, data mapping events), and not focusing purely on ecommerce (but, even then, the platform is flexible enough to accommodate lead-gen users!)

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We've been able to alleviate our dependency on our technical teams and empower our marketing teams to create more campaigns independently. The omnichannel personalisation has taken our activity to a high level and the segmentation capabilities have meant we can be more targetted. The reporting has given us more insights than we have on our previous platform.

What I like best is that it's a true all-in-one platform. The unified customer data model means segmentation, real-time triggers, email, onsite personalisation, and analytics all draw from the same source, so you're not stitching separate tools together. The flexibility is the standout: prebuilt and custom webhooks let you push data out and trigger external actions in real time, and you can build your own features from scratch, including gamification mechanics. Once your team is up to speed, there's very little you can't build.

What did you not like?

The main thing is the MSE and MPE pricing model. Because cost is tied to data consumption, you end up having to compromise on analytics, segmentation and use cases just to stay efficient. You're constantly weighing whether a use case or a piece of data is worth the consumption it adds, and getting creative with aggregating data rather than holding it at the granularity you'd ideally want. It's manageable once you're disciplined about it, but it does mean the platform's capability isn't always the limiting factor, the pricing model is. Bloomreach has a newer pricing model based on active users that we're currently considering, which looks like it could be a better fit.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bloomreach is our core CRM and customer engagement platform. It solved the problem of having customer data, email, onsite messaging, and analytics spread across separate tools by bringing them into a single unified data model. Everything now draws from the same source, so our segmentation, real-time triggers, and reporting are all consistent. The main benefits we've realised are speed and flexibility. We can build and launch complex, data-driven campaigns across email and onsite in one place, target customers in real time based on live behaviour, and extend the platform with custom webhooks and our own gamification features. It's enabled a lean team run sophisticated CRM and personalisation across multiple brands without stitching together a stack of point solutions.

What did you like?

Bloomreach allows me to create any user journey I can think of. Unlike other CDPs that are closed off from personalization, Bloomreach enables you to personalize, test, and then optimize. It’s the perfect platform for a mid-sized business with big dreams.

What did you not like?

I inherited Bloomreach and have had some issues with data mapping. This means it's a little more difficult to out their ready made reports. These issues are not necessarily the fault of Bloomreach though.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bloomreach has allowed me to implement a seamless multichannel and personalized retention campaign that has increased our revenue by 103% in the first month of launching. Scenario: Tom visits the website for the first time in over one year (but less than two years) and has given us marketing cookie consent. We show him a popover welcoming him back and encouraging him to continue his journey to better health with 10% off his next test. The popover stays with him for his whole session. If opened, it remains open across channels. If closed, it stays closed accordingly. If Tom hasn't purchased in 30 days, the popover disappears; if Tom orders within 30 days, it will also disappear. If he has given us email/SMS consent, he will also receive an email two hours after his visit and a text message 24 hours later if he hasn't purchased.

To be honest i can't think of anything that is mentionable here. there are a few small improvements that could be made which were communicated to the CSM and they are actually working on this

What I like best is how intuitive and efficient Bloomreach is. After three years using it daily, I can move at real pace and handle a huge range of scenarios without friction. As a data analyst, the standout for me is the personalisation — it lets us treat an ever-changing audience as individuals, respecting each person's preferences while still delivering at scale. Being able to combine that level of one-to-one relevance with GDPR-compliant targeting is genuinely powerful

What did you not like?

I'd love to see richer reporting options. We also find managing data slightly tricky, as our holiday bookings evolve over time and create multiple instances of one booking — though that's really a reflection of our industry rather than a shortcoming of Bloomreach itself.

What did you like?

What I appreciate most about Bloomreach is its ability to deliver highly relevant offers to our customers at the exact right moment. The platform allows us to systematically orchestrate the entire customer lifecycle, moving users smoothly from their first interaction toward long-term retention. As a result, we can unlock our website’s full potential by turning passive traffic into personalized, high-converting experiences.

What did you not like?

The platform comes with a premium price tag, making it a very serious investment. Additionally, while Bloomreach heavily promotes its AI capabilities, we’ve found its practical application somewhat limited at this stage—we actually hit a few roadblocks when trying to deploy specific, real-world use cases.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

The core challenge we are solving is finding the delicate balance between maximizing platform utilization and preventing customer communication fatigue. Bloomreach allows us to shift from a volume-based mindset to an efficiency-driven one. The biggest benefit realized is that we can now identify the commercially most effective touchpoints. We are generating higher revenue per customer while actually sending fewer messages, which protects both our database health and our brand equity.

Besonders schätze ich, dass alles an einem zentralen Ort zusammenläuft: Kundendaten, Kampagnen und Workflows lassen sich aus einer Oberfläche heraus steuern, ohne dass man ständig zwischen verschiedenen Tools wechseln muss. Das macht die tägliche Arbeit nicht nur effizienter, sondern gibt einem auch jederzeit einen klaren Überblick über die gesamte Customer Journey. Die Plattform ist durchdacht aufgebaut, flexibel genug für komplexe Anforderungen und gleichzeitig übersichtlich genug, um schnell handlungsfähig zu sein.

What did you not like?

Etwas knifflig finde ich nach wie vor das Erstellen von Reports – hier ist die Lernkurve am Anfang etwas steiler, und gelegentlich braucht es ein paar Anläufe, bis ein Report genau so aussieht, wie man ihn sich vorstellt. Positiv ist allerdings, dass Bloomreach auch in diesem Punkt mit dem eigenen KI-Tool deutlich nachgebessert hat, was das Reporting inzwischen spürbar einfacher und intuitiver macht. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass dieser Bereich künftig noch weiter ausgebaut und vereinfacht wird.

Mit Bloomreach lösen wir vor allem das Problem fragmentierter Kundenkommunikation. Früher waren Daten, Kampagnen und Kanäle über verschiedene Tools verteilt, was die Abstimmung aufwendig und fehleranfällig gemacht hat. Heute läuft die gesamte Kundenkommunikation über eine einzige Plattform zusammen – das spart uns nicht nur enorm viel Zeit, sondern sorgt auch für eine konsistente Ansprache über alle Touchpoints hinweg. Da alles an einem Ort gebündelt ist, können wir Kampagnen schneller aufsetzen, Zielgruppen präziser segmentieren und Abläufe automatisieren, ohne ständig zwischen Systemen wechseln zu müssen. Das macht unsere Arbeit im Alltag deutlich leichter, reduziert Reibungsverluste im Team und gibt uns gleichzeitig einen klaren Überblick über die gesamte Customer Journey. What did you like?

Bloomreach is very easy to use without compromising on power. Any level of user can feel comfortable within this platform. It has a wide range of features and available integrations.

What did you not like?

It lacks the possibility of having standardized contents such as headers and footers. If you, for example, want to change your email footer this has to be done for every single template. In automated scenario's it is not possible to see which customers are currently in that scenario. This makes troubleshooting business critical scenario's a pain.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Bringing in data from multiple sources throughout our business and easily executing marketing campaigns with that data. Before this took a marketeer, a data specialist and a developer. Now this can al be done from our marketing and CX departments.

Fairly intuitive. Simple to build and send emails. Easy to interrogate data. Good support from account manager and live chat.

What did you not like?

Some minor things really - for example when duplicating entries it gives the duplicate exactly the same name. Wouldn't it be great if this could be identified as a duplicate - e.g. by having 'copy' appended to the title?

Well targeted and segmented emails. Good options for on platform personalisations based on customer attributes.

Bloomreach is intuitive and the interface is very user-friendly. The platform is also fast, flexible and flows can be highly customized.

What did you not like?

The reports and dashboards section is a bit less user friendly and less straight-forward. The data tracking is sometimes also confusing.

Bloomreach is a very easy to use platform, with a lot of documentation to help you if you needed it. The team is super supportive and help you resolve an issue until the end. There is a lot of pre-made case studies to help you if needed.

What did you not like?

There use to be a urgency button when 'raising a ticket', however this is no longer an option. There has been some times where we have urgently been in need of someone to contact, and have had to wait. Other than that, the team is very supportive when they do respond and very helpful and understanding.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

A lot of our reporting has been solved through using Bloomreach. Before Bloomreach, our reports were very minimal and manual and we was not able to understand our customer database as well. Now, I feel like we know our customer database very well, all from the useful reports we can make through Bloomreach.

What do you like best about Bloomreach? What I like most about Bloomreach is its flexibility and the ability to bring customer data, segmentation, automation, and customer journeys together in one platform. I also appreciate how scalable the platform is—there always seems to be another way to improve or optimize what you’re doing. Another aspect that stands out is the customer support. As someone who was relatively new to the platform, I received a lot of guidance from the Customer Success and Support teams. Many times, what initially seemed like a limitation turned out to have a solution once we reached out and asked. That level of support has made a big difference in helping us unlock the value of the platform. What do you dislike about Bloomreach? Because Bloomreach is such a powerful and flexible platform, there is a learning curve. I would also like to see stronger deliverability monitoring, particularly around spam and suppression management. What did you like?

I really enjoy the scenario builder. It is a lot quicker and more flexible than anything I have used before. I feel like I can build very complex workflows in a fraction of the time to what I have before.

What did you not like?

Some menus are a little too hidden e.g. email assets in the asset manager. However, once you get used to it, it's absolutely fine.

Speed and ease of use. Whereas before we needed skilled developers to build even the most moderately difficult scenario, now all of our team will be able to achieve this.
