What did you like?

Besonders bei komplexen Prompts bleibt DeepSeek on track. GPT‑4 driftet manchmal, DeepSeek bleibt beim Punkt. Es kann echt gut mit strukturierten Marketingdaten umgehen, besser als Claude oder Gemini in unserer Erfahrung. Für den Output ist das Ding lächerlich effizient. GPT‑4 Turbo kostet uns 2–3× mehr für ähnliche Ergebnisse. DeepSeek kann Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Chinesisch, Spanisch, Portugiesisch... alles auf einem wirklich soliden Niveau.

Bestimmte politische Inhalte werden in China zensiert. Auch wenn das für uns nicht von Bedeutung ist, wirkt es dennoch befremdlich. Die Reaktionszeit steigt deutlich bei langen Prompts oder bei vielen Referenzen. Manchmal kommt leider einfach Müll raus, besonders wenn du komplexe, mehrschichtige Datenanalysen mit offenen Fragen kombinierst.

Als ich das erste Mal von DeepSeek gehört habe, dachte ich nur, wieder ein weiterer LLM aus dem Nichts, sicher einfach ein GPT‑Clone in billig. DeepSeek hat uns ziemlich von den Socken gehauen. Wir nutzen DeepSeek, um für unsere Kunden in Paid Social und Google Ads Copy zu generieren, die nicht klingt wie von einer KI, sondern wie von einem Texter. Das Modell denkt kontextuell deutlich tiefer als GPT‑3.5, besonders bei Multistep-Prompts in Kampagnenplanung. Wir automatisieren Teile unserer monatlichen Reports mit DeepSeek. Das Tool analysiert Rohdaten aus LookerStudio, Meta Ads & GA4-Exports.

What did you like?

Sprachmodelle wie ChatGPT waren bisher traditionell sehr gut im Verwenden von Sprache, mit starken Schwächen in Logik und Recherchefähigkeiten. Genau diese Lücke schließt DeepSeek - ich habe für eine Weiterbildung im universitären Bereich DeepSeek gebeten, eine Literaturanalyse der letzten 5 Jahre zu einem aktuellen Thema durchzuführen. Man konnte DeepSeek wörtlich beim "Denken" zuschauen - und nicht nur das: es ist das erste Tool, welches aus meiner Sicht seriöse, plausible Quellen in das Paper mit eingebaut hat. Diese Kombination schafft aktuell kein vergleichbares Tool wie z.B. ChatGPT oder Claude.ai. Die "akademische Welt" sollte sich schnellstmöglich damit auseinandersetzen, denn das verändert den wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsprozess noch einmal deutlich.

Der Hype um das Tool und angebliche Narrative von "für nur x-Millionen Euro" trainiert. Ich bin da eher skeptisch, genau was das Thema Datenschutz betrifft. Ja, DeepSeek ist Opensource, aber ganz ohne kräftigen Server lässt sich das auch nicht mal eben betreiben. Wir sollten uns ein wenig beruhigen, der Hype ist trotz o.g. Funktionalität nicht wirklich gerechtfertigt aus meiner Sicht. Außerdem ist ein Tool mehr als seine Benchmarks - ChatGPT wartet aktuell mit deutlicher freundlicherer UI auf und sinnvollen Zusatzfunktionen, die für viele Endnutzer Sinn machen.

Komplexe Denkaufgabe in Kombination mit der Recherche zuverlässiger, seriöser Quellen. Da habe ich in der Vergangenheit große Defizite bei anderen Playern wahrgenommen, auch Perplexity hat mich nie ganz überzeugt. Lediglich ein wenig mehr Transparenz in der Auswahl der Quellen würde ich mir wünschen.

Ich bin kein Fan von übertriebenem KI-Hype. Wir testen viel, aber wir behalten nur Tools, die uns wirklich etwas bringen, in der echten Arbeit, mit echten Problemen. Und DeepSeek ist eins davon. Es ist sehr gut integrierbar in bestehende Systeme, bei uns via API, Slack & Confluence. Wenn wir neue Ideen haben zum Beispiel ein Feature, bei dem Firmenkunden ihre Leasingfahrzeuge digital verwalten können, dann hilft uns DeepSeek dabei, die Idee klar zu strukturieren. Und das Beste ist. DeepSeek denkt mit. Es stellt Rückfragen, wenn etwas unklar ist. Und es macht Vorschläge, die wirklich durchdacht sind, nicht einfach nur das, was man eh schon weiß.

DeepSeek versteht Fachbegriffe, aber bei juristisch-sauberem Text oder AGB-artiger Sprache sind GPT & Kollegen etwas besser. UI ist nennen wir’s charmant retro. Deshalb haben wir’s gleich in unsere Tools eingebaut, die Weboberfläche nutzen wir fast nie. Kein Plugin- oder App-System. Du kannst nichts nachinstallieren oder customizen, wie bei GPT oder Claude.

Wir betreiben Plattformen, die Leasing, Fuhrparkmanagement und digitale Fahrzeugservices intelligent miteinander verbinden, effizient, rechtssicher und zukunftsorientiert. Irgendwann im letzten Jahr stellten wir uns die Frage: Warum AI nur als Buzzword nutzen, wenn wir sie sinnvoll in unsere Entwicklungsprozesse integrieren können? Dank der Open Source Verfügbarkeit ist das Modell attraktiv - sofern man Hostingerfahrung mitbringt. Die Qualität für alltägliche Anfragen sind vergleichbar mit OpenAI, Google und co. Mit strukturierten Inhalten kommt DeepSeek nicht verlässlich klar. Bildgenerierung ist unbrauchbar, da die Bilder nicht von der Qualität mit den Wettbewerbern mithalten können. Pricing als Prepaid Modell für die API ist untauglich, Abrechnung via Rechnungsstellung für Unternehmen deutlich angenehmer.

Ich mochte die Komplexität der Antworten, sie wirken nicht so KI-generiert, sondern eher menschlich. Anders als bei anderen KI-Tools fühlt es sich an, als würde ein Agent antworten, nicht eine KI.

Was mir nicht gefallen hat, war die Tatsache, dass der Server ständig ausgelastet war, sodass die Antworten verzögert oder gar nicht vorhanden waren. Aber es ist erst der Anfang – vielleicht haben zu viele Leute gleichzeitig auf den Server zugegriffen, und er ist abgestürzt. Das kann passieren, besonders am Anfang.

Open Source, das allein macht es schon spannend. Die Performance ist beeindruckend, die Ergebnisse sehr hohes Niveau. Besonders stark ist, dass es Reasoning und eine gutre Internetsuche in einem vereint. Das können andere nur entweder-oder! Insgesamt besser als GPT-4o-Niveau.

Die Zensur in der WEbapp ist ein massives Problem. Erst gibt es eine Antwort, dann merkt das Modell, dass es was Falsches gesagt hat, und löscht alles wieder – das ist schon absurd. Datenschutz wohl auch. Niemals sensible Daten eingeben. Ansonsten fehlen Funktionen wie Assistants oder automatiserungen.

Für mich als einfacher Anwender ist es gut, um Ergebnisse mit anderen KIs nochmal zu validieren. Kann mir auch gut vorstellen, es zur (Vor-)Recherche laufen zu lassen. Wenn ich ein Unternehmen wäre, das eine lokale KI braucht, wäre es erste Wahl.
