What did you like?

Sprachmodelle wie ChatGPT waren bisher traditionell sehr gut im Verwenden von Sprache, mit starken Schwächen in Logik und Recherchefähigkeiten. Genau diese Lücke schließt DeepSeek - ich habe für eine Weiterbildung im universitären Bereich DeepSeek gebeten, eine Literaturanalyse der letzten 5 Jahre zu einem aktuellen Thema durchzuführen. Man konnte DeepSeek wörtlich beim "Denken" zuschauen - und nicht nur das: es ist das erste Tool, welches aus meiner Sicht seriöse, plausible Quellen in das Paper mit eingebaut hat. Diese Kombination schafft aktuell kein vergleichbares Tool wie z.B. ChatGPT oder Claude.ai. Die "akademische Welt" sollte sich schnellstmöglich damit auseinandersetzen, denn das verändert den wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsprozess noch einmal deutlich.

What did you not like?

Der Hype um das Tool und angebliche Narrative von "für nur x-Millionen Euro" trainiert. Ich bin da eher skeptisch, genau was das Thema Datenschutz betrifft. Ja, DeepSeek ist Opensource, aber ganz ohne kräftigen Server lässt sich das auch nicht mal eben betreiben. Wir sollten uns ein wenig beruhigen, der Hype ist trotz o.g. Funktionalität nicht wirklich gerechtfertigt aus meiner Sicht. Außerdem ist ein Tool mehr als seine Benchmarks - ChatGPT wartet aktuell mit deutlicher freundlicherer UI auf und sinnvollen Zusatzfunktionen, die für viele Endnutzer Sinn machen.

Komplexe Denkaufgabe in Kombination mit der Recherche zuverlässiger, seriöser Quellen. Da habe ich in der Vergangenheit große Defizite bei anderen Playern wahrgenommen, auch Perplexity hat mich nie ganz überzeugt. Lediglich ein wenig mehr Transparenz in der Auswahl der Quellen würde ich mir wünschen.

What did you not like?

A clear channel to validate the content generated by LLMs should be enabled. This would help boost accuracy and latency in the software.

What did you like?

DeepSeek Solves up to 70% of our customer problems, on any live channel, in dozens of languages without extra hiring. Also performs tasks, freeing our support agents to focus on high value requests.

What did you not like?

As we grow with DeepSeek, we have realized several breakdowns. I can attribute this to their systems failure which is so disappointing. I hope for the best as we move on.

Scaling operations with predictable customer service expenses. DeepSeek provides excellent support with live chat and help desk tools.

What did you not like?

What did you like?

Versatility, integration with the other services and ongoing development of the new features. I think DeepSeek powers a large part of the daily activities, yet there is a constant worry about the reliability of the data.

What did you not like?

A lot of time is spent on verification. Looks easier to use than it actually is. It requires some practice with prompts.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It's insanely good. We use it for everything from answering support tickets to managing how conversations are scored within our software. It does the work of a hundred pairs of eyes.

An unsung hero of recent generative AI advancements, quietly working behind the scenes to understand and generate language as we know it. Enables prediction and produces text based on the input they receive so they can engage in conversations, answer queries or even write code. DeepSeek is all you need.

What did you not like?

The learning curve might not be very easy for everyone. We had to invite intervention from the ever ready customer support team.

What did you like?

The experience I have with DeepSeek has all to do with perfection, user friendly interface and implementable. Best of all, it is available in web, app and API which saves on costs of purchasing it from expensive sites.

What did you not like?

There is a free access to DeepSeek. This is a great opportunity to learn slowly before purchasing the premium version.
