The tool includes all relevant data and makes it accessible to the relevant stakeholders: approved budget, planned positions, actuals and delta. The log of all changes is amazing and ensures transparent planning, solving a big problem we had.

The tool is currently a little slow and the charts on the landing page a bit confusing if you have different budgets for different entities. Besides that I really like it.

We had difficulties providing accurate numbers to our Finance Team as there is a lot of movement in our company. Also, we lacked transparency why changes were made and so on. Now we have much more clarity where we stand with our budget, what changed in the planned position and the reasons behind it - all that with only a few clicks.

The tool is easy to use, intuitive, and thoughtfully designed. Its functionalities make it straightforward to adapt to dynamic, fast-changing organizations like Parloa. The team behind the tool is extremely supportive, they process feedback and feature requests quickly and are always accessible, which creates a great overall experience where the toll constantly improves and evolves and performs better day to day.

The tool currently could be improved in a few areas: - Filtering sometimes gets stuck with longer usage time that may require a full refresh of the page. - When changing dimensions, filters get lost which requires you to repeat the entire filter. - processing of input can sometimes require a refresh as it is not visible immediately. - overall performance has been constantly improving, however, sometimes could still be slow From a usability perspective: - Planning versions could have a summary view like the live forecast that would make it easier to group and visualize for leaders owning several teams in different entities

The tool makes it easy to adapt planning to changing team structures thanks to its hierarchy-based planning capabilities. This gives Finance the flexibility to work independently from HR when setting up access rights, while still maintaining a clear, consistent structure. It also supports a streamlined and structured hiring process, where planning and approvals happen directly within the tool. The Talent Acquisition team can prioritize and assign roles efficiently, and the entire hiring workflow can be managed in one place, from financial planning and controlling to managing the hiring pipeline. Overall, the tool enables all stakeholders and hiring managers to have a real-time, accurate view of their teams, improving transparency and coordination across the organization.

Cartha ist aus Recruitingsicht ein super praktisches Tool, um jederzeit den Überblick über alle offenen Stellen und die damit verbundenen Kosten zu behalten. Besonders hilfreich sind die neuen Features wie Hiring Priority, Status und die direkte Zuweisung von Jobs zu verantwortlichen Recruiter:innen – das bringt Struktur und Fokus in den Prozess. Insgesamt überzeugt Cartha durch eine moderne, intuitive Bedienung und eine klar durchdachte UX.

Etwas störend ist, dass man sich relativ häufig neu anmelden muss – gerade wenn man zwischendurch das Tool kurz verlässt. Das unterbricht teilweise den Arbeitsfluss, ist aber nichts Tragisches. Wenn es mal technische Probleme gibt, reagiert das Cartha-Team sehr schnell und lösungsorientiert

Mit Cartha lässt sich unser gesamter Recruitingprozess deutlich strukturierter und transparenter abbilden – von der Budgetübersicht bis zur Priorisierung offener Stellen. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass sich unterschiedliche Nutzerrollen anlegen lassen. So sieht jeder nur die für ihn oder sie relevanten Infos und kann gezielt mitarbeiten. Das vereinfacht die Zusammenarbeit enorm, beschleunigt Abstimmungen und sorgt für klare Verantwortlichkeiten.

How it allows to simplify an objectively burdensome topic. The CFO and the Talent acquisition manager were using two separate Excel sheets prior to Cartha and it was neither reliable nor effective. Cartha makes it straightforward and exhaustive to see the current and projected impact of headcount and segregate the costs in a way that turns a lot of data into useful KPIs

I simply hope that Cartha grows to offer secondary functionalities that other platforms offer so that we can rely for more on it and avoid having to use it together with another solution in order to fully solve the people's part of the company

Management of current employees cost per team (monitoring) and planning for hiring. Before using Cartha, as I described before, there were silos. The Talent acquisiotn maager and the CFO were using separate excel sheets to square the budgeted figure for hiring and the hiring plan for the year per team and position. It was messy, unreliable and time consuming. With Cartha, we have a phenomenal display of all this information, automatic calculations to plan and estimate for changes and the ability to involve all the managerial team of the company in the hiring of their team members with assurance that they follow corporate policy.

hat gelegentlich kleine Bugs, die vom Basqo‑Team sehr schnell behoben werden, sowie seine Einarbeitungszeit bedarf aufgrund des umfangreichen Funktionsumfangs.

Komplexität bei Personalkennzahlen: Statt manuelle Excel-Listen bietet Basqo eine zentrale, übersichtliche Plattform. Fehlende Transparenz: Alle relevanten Daten stehen uns nach dem Upload zur Verfügung, was Abstimmungen erleichtert. Ungenaue Forecasts: Durch integrierte Prognosefunktionen werden zukünftige Entwicklungen verlässlicher kalkuliert. Zeitaufwand für Budgetplanung: Automatisierte Berechnungen sparen erheblich Zeit und reduzieren Fehler.

Basqo bringt alle relevanten Stakeholder im Headcountplanning Prozess zusammen (Hiring Manager, Talent Acquisition und Finance), sorgt für Transparenz und erhöht die Effizienz in der Planung enorm. Änderungen (Level, Starttag, etc) werden dokumentiert, alle Integrationen (HRIS & ATS) waren, dank der Unterstützung der Founder, problemlos möglich.

Kein relevanter Punkt kommt mir in den Sinn, eventuelle Unzulänglichkeiten wurden vom Team zeitnah korrigiert, bzw. durch neue Features abgedeckt. Es braucht eine Weile sich in die Prozesse (bzw. Möglichkeiten der Planung) einzuarbeiten, aber ist es erst einmal aufgesetzt, funktioniert es tadellos.

Transparenz während der Planung, ebenso im laufenden Jahr. Die Möglichkeiten die Zugriffsrechte individuell aufzusetzen, erlaubt allen Stakeholdern nahtlos am Prozess zu arbeiten.

Connecting HR information system, applicant tracking and planned positions to derive a realistic personnel cost forecast

The user interface is a bit slow, the page does not refresh if you deselect a filter or shows zero results. The exports and views cannot be customized. Complicated actions run for minutes in the background, but there are no notifications or status of whether they completed.

Basqo solves the challenge of a personnel plan that is out-of-date by the time it‘s finished, does not match actuals and does not align with actual hiring. It also enables not only budgeting, but also actuals updates and mid-year forecasting

With Basqo it is very easy to create a PEx budget, a specific forecast and a comparison to the actual PEx figures as well

in the past there was only a limited function to export the budget in csv with own defined lines/columns but this is solved now

We've been using the tool for a while now and have seen its functionality grow steadily over time. New features are released regularly, which is great to see. A particular highlight is the customer support via Slack: super fast, friendly, and solution-oriented.

Some parts of the tool are not always intuitive and require a bit of time to find the functionality needed.

Streamline Headcount Planning and People Budgeting

Mit Cartha bekommen wir Personaldaten endlich mal sauber und ständig aktualisiert zusammen. Die zu Grunde liegende Datenhygiene muss natürlich stimmen, aber dann ist es einfach super easy möglich auf Company- und Teamebene saubere Personal-Forecast zu erheben und zu kontrollieren. Für den Budget-Prozess kann ebenfalls die Planung per Cartha delegiert und später wieder zusammengeführt werden. Das war vorher jedes Jahr ein großer Pain. Entwicklungen sind derzeit noch rasant - und ich freue mich auf alles was noch kommt!

Gelegentlich kommt es zu Performance-Problemen, was wenig verwunderlich ist, wenn man ein relativ neues Produkt baut und sich gleichzeitig einem ständig wachsenden Kundenstamm gegenüber sieht, der nicht nur in Anzahl, sondern auch in Unternehmensgröße zu wachsen scheint.

Es gibt nicht den einen Weg für Personalbudgetplanung und unterjähriges Forecasting & Controlling, weil das People-, Finance und alle planenden Teams ihre eigenen Süppchen kochen. Mit Cartha gibt es jetzt diesen Weg.
