Flowin combines a reliable and scalable Peppol platform with excellent support. Integration is flexible and straightforward, pricing is competitive, and the platform handles the complexity of electronic invoicing for us. It has proven to be very stable in daily use and scales easily to tens of thousands of businesses. What really sets Flowin apart, however, is the team behind it: knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help with both technical and regulatory questions.

There is very little to dislike. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be expanding support for businesses in additional European countries. As e-invoicing adoption continues to grow across Europe, broader geographic coverage would make the platform even more attractive for software providers operating internationally. In addition, support for invoice format conversions and connectivity to e-invoicing networks beyond Peppol could further increase flexibility for companies serving customers across different markets and regulatory environments. These are opportunities rather than shortcomings, as the core platform already performs very well.

We have been using Flowin for several years to provide Peppol e-invoicing capabilities to our customers. As electronic invoicing regulations continue to expand across Europe, we needed a reliable way to send and receive invoices through the Peppol network without having to build and maintain that infrastructure ourselves. The main benefits have been reliable invoice delivery, a straightforward implementation process, and the ability to scale efficiently across tens of thousands of businesses. Over the years, Flowin has proven to be a stable and dependable platform that handles the complexity of the Peppol ecosystem for us. This allows us to focus on developing our software and supporting our customers, while keeping operational overhead and support issues to a minimum.

Developer-Friendly REST API - The API design is highly intuitive, clean, and developer-friendly. Thanks to thorough documentation and well-structured JSON payloads, integrating their endpoints into our existing ERP software only took a few days. Anyone familiar with RESTful architectures will find the learning curve virtually non-existent. Onboarding new clients onto the Peppol network is often a major bottleneck due to strict verification and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. Flowin elegantly streamlines this process. The automated validation checks and streamlined workflows significantly reduce the time it takes to get customers live and exchanging documents. Flowin's unique approach to managing the unexpected is truly exceptional. Instead of cryptic error codes, the API returns highly descriptive, actionable validation messages. In the event that a document fails Peppol syntax rules or lacks a mandatory field, the error response will provide a detailed explanation of the issue, including the specific element that is missing, enabling immediate programmatic or manual correction.

A minor limitation is its exclusive focus on API-driven functionality for software developers, which means there is no native, end-user graphical user interface (GUI) available initially. Therefore, users will need to design the user interface (UI) wrapper within their own application.

Flowin's core strength lies in its exceptional technical execution. The API is well-documented and easy to understand. A huge plus is the free sandbox environment that registers customers in the Peppol test network. This helped us tremendously in getting things started and validating everything with the customer's partner before going live. Flipping the environment variables to go live was effortless. The onboarding of new customers and updates to existing ones, as well as the handling of errors in submitted documents, are excellent.

What I like best about Flowin is how easy it is to integrate and maintain. The API is well designed, the documentation is clear, and the onboarding process for new customers is straightforward. We have successfully connected multiple customers and the platform has proven to be very reliable in daily use. Another strong point is that Flowin handles the complexity of the Peppol network, allowing us to focus on our software and our customers. Since implementing Flowin, we have not experienced any significant issues, which gives us a lot of confidence in the platform.

There is only one area where I see room for improvement. Some of our customers use Flowin exclusively for sending invoices, while incoming invoices are handled through another platform or directly by their accountant. Currently, there is no clear option to register a customer for outbound invoicing only. We found a workaround, but having separate inbound and outbound registration options would make the onboarding process more flexible and better suited to different customer workflows. Apart from that, our experience with Flowin has been very positive.

Simple and very easy to use, clear documentation. Setup was done very quickly and a day after I was already sending e-invoices. I did already have the correct xml format to be used.

The API is not very difficult to understand. The commercial and technical support is good, with transparent pricing. There are many layers of security. Unlike some competitors, the pricing structure is clear and straightforward.

Sometimes for me the security feels like a bit too much. Sending an e-invoice is not as critical as, for example, making a payment. But better be safe than sorry.

The main advantage is that Flowin saves me quite some time. I don't need to build a Peppol Access Point myself, and I don't have to maintain it.

the people at Flowin are the main power of the company. I have the pleasure of working with them for PEPPOL (electronic invoicing legislation), which is quite a complex topic. The people at the company are always there for help or advice. The professionals at Flowin are easy-going and we do get in touch on a regular basis.

Maybe there are some minor concerns, but even then, they are very helpful and try to do what's possible. I would recommend defining the internal spokespeople very thoroughly with them, since they send a lot of different newsletters, that do all end up in different mailboxes in our company.
