What is Placetel?

Since 2008, Placetel has been providing businesses with a professional cloud-based telephone system featuring 150 telephony functions. Since 2018, Placetel has been part of Cisco and has expanded its portfolio with Webex for Placetel, a collaboration solution. Via team messaging, users can communicate with each other in private or group chats. Online meetings enable companies to speak with up to 1,000 participants, share screens, or set up calendar integrations. The Placetel web portal facilitates set-up in 5 minutes, existing phone numbers can be transferred, and the tool can be integrated into existing software. Depending on the tariff, the packages can be cancelled monthly. The two products can be differentiated: Placetel Profi costing €4.90 per month per extension, and Webex for Placetel starting at €7.90 per month per user.
