Google Pay

Google Pay, or G Pay for short, enables contactless payment in local shops, apps, or in webshops via Android smartphones or smartwatches. For use on the customer side, the bank or credit card (multiple cards are also possible) is stored in the app and linking to PayPal is also possible. G Pay does not store the card number, but uses an encrypted virtual card number to protect the payment information alongside other security layers. Users can also use Google Pay in stores that offer 'contactless payment' for debit and credit cards. In addition, the webshops where users can use G Pay are displayed in the app. Companies should be able to integrate the payment method easily and free of charge via an API. Besides faster payment processing, companies can also integrate their loyalty and reward programs into G Pay.
