Klarna Sofort (zuvor Sofortüberweisung)

Klarna, as the best-funded fintech in Europe, claims to "fundamentally change the payment experience for buyers and merchants". Founded in Sweden in 2005, Klarna now counts around 200,000 active merchants, around 85 million end customers, and around 1 million transactions per day. In 2014, Klarna acquired Sofort GmbH and thus the Munich company's payment option "Sofortüberweisung". With "Klarna Instant" (as Sofortüberweisung has been called since the acquisition), purchases should be able to be "comfortably and safely" paid immediately after completing the order by simply entering your own online banking data. So, users do not have to transmit any personal information or card details to merchants. Immediately after the order, there is a transaction confirmation.
