Meeting Room Booking Systems
What did you like?
I think I like Whatspot because it doesn’t feel like another tool I have to manage. It just fits naturally into how I already work. Booking a room or a spot is quick and intuitive, and it doesn’t interrupt my flow.
I also like that it encourages shared responsibility. Everyone can see what’s booked, so it’s not about rules or policing; it’s about being considerate of each other. That aligns a lot with how I see culture in a team.
What did you not like?
If I had to point out something that’s not so great about Whatspot, it’s that the free version is quite limited. Once you actually start relying on it, you quickly realize you need features like external bookings or sharing links, and those are locked behind a paid plan
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Booking 3 different meeting spots. No more fuss over who takes which spot for a meeting.
What did you like?
It’s really easy to use. Booking a room or desk only takes a few seconds, and I like that we can see availability right away. Getting started was quick because the app is very intuitive, and new people don’t really need any training to use it.
What did you not like?
Nothing major, but the mobile app could be a bit smoother, but it seems to be fixed recently.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Before, we often had confusion about who booked a desk or meeting room or if a desk was actually available. Now everyone can see availability, which saves us a lot of back-and-forth. It also helps us use our space more efficiently, since people can release a room early if they’re done. Overall, it’s reduced scheduling conflicts and made our shared office run more smoothly.
