Wir nutzen HoorayHR vor allem für die digitale Personalakte – und genau da ist es richtig stark. Besonders gut: Man kann eigene Felder anlegen und die Akte so auf die Realität im Unternehmen anpassen, statt sich in ein starres Schema zu pressen. Für neue KollegInnen ist das Preboarding super praktisch: Sie können viele Daten schon vor dem ersten Arbeitstag selbst eintragen. Damit fällt dieses „Zettel ausfüllen und später abtippen“ komplett weg. Insgesamt wirkt alles ordentlich, schnell auffindbar und macht die Verwaltung deutlich entspannter.

Ein Feature wäre noch nett: unterschiedliche Feld-Sets je MitarbeiterIn (z.B. je Rolle oder Standort). Das geht aktuell nicht komplett so granular. Für unsere Grösse (rund 70 Mitarbeitende) kommen wir aber trotzdem sehr gut damit klar, weil man mit den eigenen Feldern schon sehr weit kommt. Man kann nun auch Farben hinzufügen, das is gut aber es gibt nicht genau unsere Unternehmensfarbe.

Wir lösen damit das klassische Chaos rund um Personaldaten und Dokumente: weniger Papier, weniger manuelles Nachtragen, weniger Rückfragen. Onboarding startet sauber, weil die wichtigsten Infos schon vor Eintritt im System stehen. Die Personalakte ist zentral, aktuell und für HR wie Mitarbeitende einfach nutzbar. Und Mitarbeiter können einfach darauf zugreifen, das ist praktisch für sie und wir haben im HR weniger Anfragen

HoorayHR ist eine super praktische HR-Software für unsere Organisation. Die Mitarbeitenden haben mit der Self-Service-App von HoorayHR jederzeit Überblick über ihre Daten. Arbeitsstunden lassen sich ganz einfach erfassen, Vertragsinfos sind gespeichert und das Urlaubsbudget ist transparent. Dadurch gibt es kaum noch Rückfragen und die Zufriedenheit unserer Mitarbeitenden ist deutlich gestiegen.Der Support von HoorayHR ist richtig angenehm und persönlich. Sobald wir eine Frage haben, bekommen wir sofort Hilfe – entweder über den AI-Bot oder direkt von der Customer Success Managerin. Wenn nötig, planen wir einen kurzen Online-Termin und werden professionell unterstützt.

Manchmal kommt es vor, dass ein Wunsch aus unserer Organisation in HoorayHR nicht umsetzbar ist. Das Support-Team ist aber immer freundlich und hilfsbereit und sucht gemeinsam mit uns nach einer Lösung. Meistens wird unser Wunsch an das Team weitergegeben. Besonders schön finden wir, dass wir vom HoorayHR-Team auch eine Rückmeldung bekommen, wenn der Wunsch tatsächlich umgesetzt wurde. Das macht die Arbeit mit HoorayHR so angenehm.

Mit HoorayHR haben wir unser gesamtes HR optimal aufgestellt. Die Zufriedenheit im Team ist gestiegen, weil KollegInnen ihre Themen jetzt selbst einsehen und verwalten können.Ein paar Funktionen, die für uns besonders hilfreich sind:Zeiterfassung: Wir können Arbeitsstunden ganz einfach registrieren. Die Funktion passt perfekt zu unseren Anforderungen – mit unseren eigenen Compliance-Regeln setzen wir unser Stundenmodell direkt in HoorayHR um.Dokumente: Dokumente lassen sich ganz leicht mit Vorlagen in HoorayHR erstellen. Sie können kostenlos unterschrieben werden und landen automatisch in der Personalakte der Mitarbeitenden.Onboarding: Das Onboarding läuft jetzt viel strukturierter ab. Mit Vorlagen aus der Template Gallery haben wir einen klaren Workflow erstellt. Alle Schritte in Preboarding, Onboarding und in den ersten Monaten lassen sich einfach abhaken – mit passenden Aufgaben für die KollegInnen.

Die App ist durchdacht, übersichtlich und auf die Bedürfnisse kleiner Unternehmen zugeschnitten. Man findet sich sofort zurecht, alles wirkt klar strukturiert und effizient umgesetzt. Besonders gefällt mir das faire Preismodell ohne Mindestabnahme oder lange Vertragslaufzeit – das ist in diesem Bereich leider immer noch selten.

Aktuell bildet die Zeiterfassung die rechtlichen Anforderungen in Deutschland noch nicht vollständig ab – da muss man als Admin ein Auge drauf haben. Ähnlich beim Urlaub: Auch hier wird (noch) nicht geprüft, ob man den rechtlich vorgesehenen Rahmen einhält. Lässt sich aber leicht lösen, indem man zu Beginn den vollen Jahresurlaub zuteilt oder bei Bedarf „überbucht“. Was mich persönlich etwas stört: Als Admin/Inhaber stehen meine eigenen Zeiteinträge standardmäßig auf “In Anfrage”, statt direkt freigegeben zu sein.

Wenn Unterstützung benötigt wird, ist der HoorayHR-Helpdesk nur einen Anruf oder Chat entfernt und bietet prompte und hilfreiche Unterstützung. Es gefällt mir, dass neue Mitarbeiter ganz einfach eine kostenlose Demo anfordern können, um sich nahtlos mit der Plattform vertraut zu machen. Wir hatten oft Schwierigkeiten mit manuellen und zeitaufwendigen HR-Aufgaben wie Lohnabrechnung, Anwesenheitsverfolgung und Mitarbeiterdatenverwaltung. Hooray zentralisiert Mitarbeiterdaten, macht sie leicht zugänglich, reduziert Fehler und bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über die Historie jedes Mitarbeiters in unserer Organisation.
Wir hatten auch oft mit eingeschränktem Zugang zu Daten für strategische Entscheidungsfindung zu kämpfen. I’m really happy with HoorayHR as my HR tool. My administrative tasks are now managed in one place, leave budgets are clear and there is one place for all the HR documentation. Further more I really like the Workflows feature, where I can create HR tasks that need to be done.
What did you not like?
Hooray is easy to use and the team is happy to contribute ideas. Feedback is handled extremely well. It is a tool that can grow with your organisation, and the support is also excellent. At the moment, there is nothing I have encountered that I don't like.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Saving time on repetitive tasks is incredibly important to me in this regard. In addition, the leave budget is calculated correctly and I have one place for all HR documentation.
Another problem that has now been resolved is the expense claim feature. Using the mobile app, it is possible to scan receipts, which are then sent directly to the accounts department.

Wir nutzen das vor allem, um unsere Mitarbeiterdaten und Abläufe sauber zu organisieren. Früher lief vieles über einzelne Listen oder Zuruf, jetzt ist alles gebündelt. Man sieht direkt was offen ist und muss nicht ständig hinterher sein. Daher ist Hooray nicht mehr wegzudenken!

In der Gebäudereinigung hat man viele Mitarbeitende mit unterschiedlichen Einsatzzeiten, da kann schnell der Überblick verloren gehen. Dank Hooray sehe ich sofort wer wann im Urlaub ist und habe alle wichtigen Infos an einem Ort und von überall und kann jederzeit, ganz einfach darauf blicken .

Für sehr individuelle Einsatzzeiten muss man teilweise etwas anpassen, was bei uns aber nicht unbedingt notwendig ist. Ansonsten alles super.

Ich habe deutlich weniger Rückfragen im Team und weniger Aufwand. Die Planung läuft ruhiger und strukturierter, was bei uns extrem wichtig ist. Insgesamt daher definitiv sehr zu empfehlen!

From a developer’s perspective, I like that I dont have to think too much about it. When I need to check my remaining vacation days or upload a document, its quick and straightforward. It doesnt feel like a heavy system you have to learn first.
What did you not like?
It’s not super flexible if you expect advanced features or deep customization. But honestly, for everyday use, that simplicity is also part of the advantage.

What I like is that it doesnt demand much attention. You set things up once and then it just works in the background. Time off requests, employee info, documents. Everything is where you expect it to be. Its simple enough that no one in the team avoids using it.
What did you not like?
Its not the most flexible tool if you want to build very specific workflows or detailed reporting. You sometimes have to adjust your way of working a bit.

I dont have to chase people for basic information anymore. Fewer messages, fewer reminders, less back and forth. It keeps things organized without adding extra work, which is exactly what we needed.

Wir wollten bewusst kein komplexes HR Tool, sondern etwas das man im Alltag einfach nutzt. Genau das ist hier der Fall. Urlaube eintragen, Dokumente ablegen, Mitarbeiterdaten pflegen, das alles geht schnell und ohne viel Nachdenken. Auch im Team wurde es direkt angenommen.

Mir gefällt vor allem, dass viele Sachen einfach zentral geregelt sind. Früher musste ich für Mitarbeiterdaten oder Urlaubsstände mehrere Orte durchsuchen aber jetzt sehe ich das alles in wenigen Klicks. Die Oberfläche ist auch sehr gut aufgebaut, man fndet sich schnell zurecht.

Wenn man sehr individuelle HR Prozesse hat, muss man sich eventuell teilweise anpassen.

Ich habe deutlich weniger organisatorische Kleinigkeiten im Kopf. Viele Informationen sind direkt für das Team einsehbar, wodurch allgemein weniger Fragen entstehen.

What did you like?
What I like most is that it doesnt try to reinvent HR, it just makes it manageable. We can store employee information, track time off and keep documents organized without overcomplicating things. The layout is clean, and you dont need hours of training to understand how it works.
What did you not like?
If you are looking for very advanced analytics or deeply customizable workflows, you might find it a bit limited. Its clearly designed with simplicity in mind.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Our internal communication has improved because basic information is transparent and easy to access. There is less confusion about availability or missing documents. Overall it has made our HR processes feel more stable and less reactive.

Bei uns lief früher vieles parallel wie zb. Urlaube, wichtige Dokumente und Erinnerungen. Mit HoorayHR ist das alles deutlich strukturierter. Ich sehe auf einen Blick, was offen ist und wer wann fehlt. Es ist auch nicht zu kompliziert.

Ein paar Einstellungen sind nicht ganz so flexibel, wie ich es mir wünschen würde. Wenn man sehr individuelle Prozesse abbilden will muss man manchmal etwas umdenken.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Wir haben viel weniger Missverständnisse. Das Thema Personal läuft ruhiger im Hintergrund, ohne dass ich ständig eingreifen muss. Genau das war für uns der entscheidende Punkt.

Ich habe nicht mehr das Gefühl, ständig organisatorische Dinge nachhalten zu müssen. Abwesenheiten, Stammdaten und Dokumente, alles ist übersichtlich hinterlegt. Es ist kein System, bei dem man sich durch zehn Menüs klicken muss. Man kommt super schnell ans Ziel.

Bei sehr individuellen Sonderfällen merkt man, dass das Tool eher auf Standardprozesse ausgelegt ist. Für uns aber nicht zwingend notwendig.

Ich habe deutlich weniger Abstimmungen per Emails und weniger Unsicherheiten im Team. Viele Fragen klären sich von selbst, weil die Informationen transparent sind. Das spart Zeit und sorgt dafür, dass wir uns stärker auf unser Tagesgeschäft konzentrieren können statt auf Verwaltung! :)

Für mich ist der größte Pluspunkt, dass ich nicht ständig hinter Informationen herrennen muss. Ob Urlaubsstand , Vertragsdokumente oder Basisdaten , ich finde alles schnell. Das System ist klar aufgebaut und einfach zu bedienen. Auch im Team wurde es schnell akzeptiert , weil es selbsterklärend ist.

Manchmal hängt sich die Seite auf, dann muss man den Browser schließen und neu öffnen.

Ich spare mir viele kleine Abstimmungen und unnötige Rückfragen. Alles läuft strukturierter und nachvollziehbarer ab . Insgesamt gibt mir das Tool mehr Sicherheit im Alltag , weil ich weiß dass alles ordentlich dokumentiert ist.

What I appreciate most is that its simple enough that people dont avoid it. We have tried tools before that looked powerful but were too complicated for daily use. With HoorayHR, our team actually logs in, checks their time off, uploads documents and keeps things updated without constant reminders.
What did you not like?
If you are running a large enterprise with layered approval chains and highly customized rules, you might outgrow it.

There is far less back and forth between managers and employees. Information is transparent, responsibilities are clearer and small administrative tasks no longer turn into long email threads-

Für mich ist der größte Vorteil, dass endlich alles an einem Ort ist. Keine Listen mehr, keine verstreuten Dokumente. Wenn jemand Urlaub einreicht oder ich etwas nachschauen muss, finde ich es sofort. Das System ist nicht kompliziert und man muss kein HR Profi sein, um es zu verstehen.

Bei sehr speziellen Fällen merkt man, dass das Tool eher auf Standardprozesse ausgelegt ist. Manchmal muss man sich ein bisschen anpassen, statt es komplett individuell einstellen zu können.

Auch neue Mitarbeitende können sich selbstständig einarbeiten, weil viele Informationen transparent zugänglich sind.

Die Oberfläche ist bewusst minimalistisch. Wer sehr viele individuelle Auswertungen oder Sonderprozesse abbilden möchte braucht etwas Geduld oder zusätzliche Tools. Für den normalen Unternehmensalltag ist es aber absolut ausreichend !

What I appreciate most is how straight forward everything is. I dont need an HR background to manage employee data, time off , or documents properly. The system feels intuitive and clean and both managers and employees understand it quickly without constant explanations.

Some workflows are quite standardized. If you have very specific or uncommon HR requirements, you may need to adapt your process slightly to fit the tool.

What stands out for me is how well it fits a small to mid sized company. It doesnt feel overloaded with unnecessary features, yet it covers everything we truly need employee records, leave tracking, documents and basic workflows.

Reporting options could be a bit more flexible. If you want highly customized analytics you might miss some depth.

The program is easy to use. It is a very clear program with good personal helpdesk. It does exactly what you need for HR.
What did you not like?
Hooray doesn't have customization and sometimes you want to keep things the way they you are used to. But on the other hand is that te strength of te program. It forces you to try other way en very often they are better!

What did you like?
What I like most about HoorayHR is how easy it is to keep a proper digital employee file without forcing us into a super hard structure, eg custom fields make it fit how we actually work. The self-service app is also very useful: people can check documents, request leave, log sickness, and see balances without chasing HR, which cuts the constant back-and-forth. On top of that, support feels human and fast, and when we suggest improvements we often see them make it into the product, which is pretty convienient.
What did you not like?
Reporting can feel a bit limited when you want more tailored insights beyond the standard views. The user roles and permisions are fairly basic, so finer access control (e.g., for finance or project leads) takes workarounds for us - we now grant specific admin roles to those users so they have the access they need. And we wanted to have our brand colour scheme involved in the new interface, which is not met 100% but nearly.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
It’s helped us move away from scattered spreadsheets, emails, and folders by keeping contracts, employee data, and key changes in one place that both HR and employees can access. We’ve made onboarding more structured with workflows, reminders, and templates, so new starters can pre-fill details before day one and nothing important gets missed. Time off and time tracking are clearer and easier to approve, which gives better visibility for planning and reduces mistakes. Net result: less admin noise, fewer questions to HR, and a more efficent day-to-day process. So we are happy.

Zeiterfassungssystem, Dokumentenverwaltung, Urlaubs und Krankmeldungssystem. Die Systeme funktionieren gut, ach wenn am Reporting noch zu arbeiten wäre.
What did you not like?
Fahrtenbuch, das entspricht nicht den gesetzlichen Vorgaben in Deutschland. Hier muss dringend nachgebessert werden.
