It doesnt cover every edge case. If you have very specific internal workflows, you might need to adjust how you work a bit.

What did you like?

I’m really happy with HoorayHR as my HR tool. My administrative tasks are now managed in one place, leave budgets are clear and there is one place for all the HR documentation. Further more I really like the Workflows feature, where I can create HR tasks that need to be done.

What did you not like?

Hooray is easy to use and the team is happy to contribute ideas. Feedback is handled extremely well. It is a tool that can grow with your organisation, and the support is also excellent. At the moment, there is nothing I have encountered that I don't like.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Saving time on repetitive tasks is incredibly important to me in this regard. In addition, the leave budget is calculated correctly and I have one place for all HR documentation. Another problem that has now been resolved is the expense claim feature. Using the mobile app, it is possible to scan receipts, which are then sent directly to the accounts department.

What did you like?

Wir nutzen das vor allem, um unsere Mitarbeiterdaten und Abläufe sauber zu organisieren. Früher lief vieles über einzelne Listen oder Zuruf, jetzt ist alles gebündelt. Man sieht direkt was offen ist und muss nicht ständig hinterher sein. Daher ist Hooray nicht mehr wegzudenken!

Tatsächlich ist uns überhaupt nichts negatives aufgefallen. Daher kann ich hier auch nichts negatives reinschreiben.

What did you like?

In der Gebäudereinigung hat man viele Mitarbeitende mit unterschiedlichen Einsatzzeiten, da kann schnell der Überblick verloren gehen. Dank Hooray sehe ich sofort wer wann im Urlaub ist und habe alle wichtigen Infos an einem Ort und von überall und kann jederzeit, ganz einfach darauf blicken .

Für sehr individuelle Einsatzzeiten muss man teilweise etwas anpassen, was bei uns aber nicht unbedingt notwendig ist. Ansonsten alles super.

From a developer’s perspective, I like that I dont have to think too much about it. When I need to check my remaining vacation days or upload a document, its quick and straightforward. It doesnt feel like a heavy system you have to learn first.

What I like is that it doesnt demand much attention. You set things up once and then it just works in the background. Time off requests, employee info, documents. Everything is where you expect it to be. Its simple enough that no one in the team avoids using it.

Its not the most flexible tool if you want to build very specific workflows or detailed reporting. You sometimes have to adjust your way of working a bit.

What did you like?

What stands out for me is how well it fits a small to mid sized company. It doesnt feel overloaded with unnecessary features, yet it covers everything we truly need employee records, leave tracking, documents and basic workflows.

What did you not like?

Reporting options could be a bit more flexible. If you want highly customized analytics you might miss some depth.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

W have reduced internal confusion significantly. Managers dont need to email back and forth to check availability or documents. Everything is centralized and transparent, which makes decision making faster and more confident.

What did you like?

The program is easy to use. It is a very clear program with good personal helpdesk. It does exactly what you need for HR.

What did you not like?

Hooray doesn't have customization and sometimes you want to keep things the way they you are used to. But on the other hand is that te strength of te program. It forces you to try other way en very often they are better!

We are spending a lot less time searching for the right information and emailing documents to eachother!

What did you like?

Ich mag vor allem, dass ich nicht ständig suchen oder nachfragen muss. Urlaube, Krankmeldungen, Dokumente ist alles ist an einem Ort und für alle nachvollziehbar. Auch Mitarbeitende finden sich schnell selbst zurecht, ohne dass ich alles erklären muss.

Am Anfang braucht es außerdem ein bisschen Zeit, um reinzukommen aber das legt sich schnell.

Ich habe deutlich weniger Rückfragen und Diskussionen. Prozesse laufen ruhiger, strukturierter und transparenter. Insgesamt fühlt sich das ganze Thema Personal viel entspannter an, weil ich weiß, alles ist sauber dokumentiert und jederzeit abrufbar.

What did you like?

What I like most about HoorayHR is how easy it is to keep a proper digital employee file without forcing us into a super hard structure, eg custom fields make it fit how we actually work. The self-service app is also very useful: people can check documents, request leave, log sickness, and see balances without chasing HR, which cuts the constant back-and-forth. On top of that, support feels human and fast, and when we suggest improvements we often see them make it into the product, which is pretty convienient.

What did you not like?

Reporting can feel a bit limited when you want more tailored insights beyond the standard views. The user roles and permisions are fairly basic, so finer access control (e.g., for finance or project leads) takes workarounds for us - we now grant specific admin roles to those users so they have the access they need. And we wanted to have our brand colour scheme involved in the new interface, which is not met 100% but nearly.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It’s helped us move away from scattered spreadsheets, emails, and folders by keeping contracts, employee data, and key changes in one place that both HR and employees can access. We’ve made onboarding more structured with workflows, reminders, and templates, so new starters can pre-fill details before day one and nothing important gets missed. Time off and time tracking are clearer and easier to approve, which gives better visibility for planning and reduces mistakes. Net result: less admin noise, fewer questions to HR, and a more efficent day-to-day process. So we are happy.

HoorayHR is extremely easy to use and very intuitive, even without prior HR software experience. I really like that all HR-related processes and documents are centralized in one place, which saves a lot of time and avoids confusion. Creating workflows is straightforward and flexible The time tracking feature is especially helpful and works reliably

Some advanced features could offer more customization options. Reporting could be expanded with more detailed analytics. Occasionally, certain settings take a moment to fully understand, especially for first-time users.

What did you not like?

Fahrtenbuch, das entspricht nicht den gesetzlichen Vorgaben in Deutschland. Hier muss dringend nachgebessert werden.

Arbeitserleichterung durch automatisierte Vorgänge; wir haben ganz viel Zettelwirtschaft z.B. durch online-Urlaubsanträge abgeschafft; jeder hat Zugriff auf seine Dokumente und steht nicht immer in der HR-Abteilung auf der Matte, weil z.B. die Gehaltsabrechnung von vor 5 Monaten weg ist und für die Steuererklärung gebraucht wird

What did you not like?

Für uns wäre es hilfreich, wenn im Kalender ganztägige und halbtägige Abwesenheiten für alle Kollegen zu unterscheiden wären (kann aber sein, dass das möglich ist, habe noch nicht nachgefragt).

Urlaubsanträge liegen nicht mehr tagelang im Postfach, wenn der zuständige Kollege krank ist, sondern können von anderen bearbeitet werden. Sonstige Vorteile: immense Zeitersparnis, da wir vorher fast alles analog gemacht haben

What did you like?

Das neue Time Tracking ist für uns der größte Fortschritt. Es fühlt sich deutlich reifer an als früher: Stunden sind schnell im Web oder in der App eingetragen, man kann Zeiten sauber kategorisieren, und Team Leads/Admins können Timesheets klar freigeben, ohne dass etwas untergeht. Dazu kommen die Reports, die wirklich im Alltag helfen.. gerade wenn es um Überstunden und Ausgleich geht, hat man schnell Überblick und kann direkt weiterarbeiten, statt wieder in Excel zu landen. Und eine coole sache: Dass man jetzt Farben anpassen kann, ist für die Akzeptanz im Team mehr wert, als man denkt. Obendrauf ist der Support extrem schnell und unkompliziert – Fragen sind meist sofort geklärt.

What did you not like?

Beim Branding komme ich nicht ganz auf unsere exakte Unternehmensfarbe, man kann es zwar anpassen, aber eben nicht perfekt treffen. Und im Helpcenter finde ich nicht für jede Detailfrage sofort eine passende Antwort – vor allem bei speziellen Fällen. Das ist aber kein Drama, weil die Oberfläche oft selbsterklärend ist und der Support im Zweifel ohnehin sehr schnell hilft (direkt in der App gibt es einen Chat Support)

Wir lösen damit vor allem das übliche Chaos aus mehreren Tools und halbfertigen Prozessen: Zeiterfassung und HR laufen in einem System, ohne Copy-Paste und ohne Nebenlösungen. Die Freigaben sind klar geregelt und nachvollziehbar, wodurch weniger liegen bleibt und weniger Rückfragen entstehen. Und durch die Reports haben wir endlich Transparenz über Stunden, Mehrarbeit und Ausgleich, das macht Planung und Abrechnung für uns zumindest wirklich ruhiger.

What did you like?

HoorayHR works as a great HR tool for us. All our HR administration can be found in one place. In addition, it is very convenient for employees to have all documents, leave and other personnel matters clearly visible in the mobile app. This prevents questions and saves time in our HR process.

What did you not like?

There are no specific drawbacks to HoorayHR, as we find it very easy to use. However, there are occasions when a particular feature is not available. The Hooray team's customer support handles this very professionally and keeps us informed when our request has actually been incorporated into the product.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

With HoorayHR, we save time on the HR process, there is clarity for employees, and satisfaction has increased. With HoorayHR, our leave policy is properly organised, documents are easy to generate and sign, HR tasks are easier to perform with HR workflows, and we are building employee development cycles through reporting and 360-degree feedback, among other things. A big plus is the template gallery, which provides many examples for streamlining processes. This applies to templates for reporting and requesting feedback, as well as task lists such as onboarding, offboarding, and more

Seit wir hoorayhr.io nutzen, hat sich die Plattform kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt. Es kommen regelmäßig sinnvolle Verbesserungen und neue Funktionen hinzu, die unsere Personalprozesse noch einfacher und effizienter machen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den Support – schnell, kompetent und immer freundlich. Fragen oder Anliegen werden innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet, was uns viel Zeit und Nerven spart.

What did you not like?

Kleinere Einschränkungen gibt es gelegentlich noch bei der individuellen Anpassung einzelner Funktionen. Manchmal dauert es etwas, bis wirklich jedes Detail perfekt auf unsere Bedürfnisse passt. Allerdings merkt man deutlich, dass das Team stetig daran arbeitet, offene Punkte zu verbessern.

Mit hooray haben wir endlich eine zentrale Plattform, in der alles an einem Ort gebündelt ist. Das reduziert Rückfragen, erleichtert die Verwaltung und sorgt dafür, dass wir jederzeit einen klaren Überblick haben.

What did you like?

Mit HoorayHR habe ich endlich alle wichtigen Funktionen in einer App. Früher habe ich mehrere Programme parallel genutzt – das ist jetzt nicht mehr nötig. Die Bedienung ist einfach und logisch, sodass sich auch meine Mitarbeiter schnell zurechtfinden. Ob Urlaubsplanung, Zeiterfassung oder Dokumentenablage – alles funktioniert zuverlässig und ohne großen Aufwand. Besonders angenehm ist, dass das System klar strukturiert ist und nicht mit unnötigen Funktionen überladen wird. Der Support ist freundlich und reagiert schnell. Für uns eine praktische, übersichtliche Lösung, die den Arbeitsalltag wirklich erleichtert.

What did you not like?

Einzig eine Reisekostenabrechnung mit hinterlegten Tagessätzen wäre noch praktisch – ansonsten bin ich rundum zufrieden.

Man kann sich ganz einfach Workflows selber bauen, z.B. "Was passiert ab der Zusage an einen Kandidaten". Von da an erinnert das System automatisiert an alle Prozessschritte.

What did you not like?

Die Zeiterfassung könnte noch an deutsche Standards angepasst werden. (Pausen automatisch abziehen, Konto übersichtlich). Praktisch wäre auch, wenn die Abrechnung komplett integrierbar wäre.

Viel Automatisierung, Vereinfachung von Prozessen. Gute Übersicht und alle Dokumente an einem Ort.

What did you like?

Als wachsendes Startup war uns besonders wichtig, Prozesse transparent und einfach verständlich zu gestalten und genau da glänzt HoorayHR. Vor allem die Feedback-Funktion und die Workflows nutzen wir regelmäßig und sie helfen uns enorm, unser Wachstum gut zu strukturieren. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr intuitiv wir haben viele Tools getestet, die zwar für Mitarbeitende übersichtlich wirkten, im Admin-Bereich aber überladen waren. HoorayHR ist da komplett anders: Klar, logisch aufgebaut und genau auf unsere Bedürfnisse abgestimm! Ein großes Plus war auch der schnelle Start, innerhalb weniger Tage waren wir vollständig einsatzbereit. Ein riesen Lob an Nadja und das Customer Success Team, die jederzeit erreichbar sind und uns super unterstützen.

What did you not like?

Natürlich gibt es hier und da kleinere Dinge, die man verbessern könnte, oder die noch fehlen, aber das Team von HoorayHR ist extrem offen für Feedback. Ich habe immer das Gefühl, dass wir gehört werden und einige meiner Anmerkungen sind ohnehin schon geplant und Teil der Roadmap.

Wir haben unter anderem unser Onboarding und das Feedbackmanagement vollständig digitalisiert. Die automatisierten Workflows sind für uns ein absoluter Gamechanger und helfen, Zeit zu sparen und Abläufe zu vereinfachen. Mit Hilfe von HoorayHR haben wir transparente Prozesse gestalten können, die im gesamten Team gut ankommen und Vertrauen schaffen. Die Rückmeldungen sind durchweg positiv und wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für HoorayHR entscheiden! :)

What did you like?

Ich verwende Hooray z.B. um Urlaubstage zu beantragen. Das klappt super einfach und ich habe zudem immer einen guten Überblick über meine bereits genommenen Tage. Sollte man mal krank sein, kann auch das ganz einfach im System eingetragen werden. In Deutschland müssen seit kurzem auch die wöchentlichen Arbeitsstunden erfasst werden, auch das klappt inzwischen super mit Hooray. Bei Problemen, mit denen ich alleine nicht weiter kam, habe ich Hooray entweder angerufen oder eine E-Mail geschickt und habe innerhalb kurzer Zeit Hilfe bekommen und das Problem konnte gelöst werden.

What did you not like?

Am Anfang war für mich als deutsche Arbeitnehmerin das Tool nur auf niederländisch verfügbar. Mittlerweile kann man aber auch die Sprache entsprechend ändern. Ich nutze es in englischer Sprache und komme sehr gut damit zurecht.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Vor allem die in Deutschland per neuem Gesetz erforderliche Arbeitszeiterfassung kann ich super mit Hooray festhalten. Nach ein paar Wochen Gewöhnungszeit geht das inzwischen super schnell und einfach.
