Die Schnittstelle zu Amazon ist aktuell noch wie eine kleine Blackbox. Die Daten werden nicht so sauber und detailliert eingespielt, wie wir es für ein durchgängiges Controlling bräuchten. Für eine präzisere Auswertung ist deshalb ein zusätzliches Tool nötig, das die Amazon-Daten verlässlicher und granularer überträgt. Hier besteht definitiv Optimierungspotenzial.

Die unglaublich einfache Einrichtung quer über verschiedenste Datenquellen hinweg. Sämtliche KPI sind schnell und einfach erreich- und darstellbar und vereinfachen damit enorm Auswertung und Steuerung von On-Site- und Marketingaktivitäten. Kombiniert mit einem erstklassigen und schnellen Service unverzichtbar für mein Daily-Business.

What did you not like?

Gelegentlich wäre eine stärkere Individualisierung der Dashboards nice to have. Die Einbettung der Google Spreadsheets ist etwas umständlich wenn man sich nicht über einen Google Account einloggt, dann muss man die Spreadsheets separat aufrufen da die integrierten Links nicht freigegeben sind.

What did you like?

I’ve been using Klar since the beta and have already rolled it out in two different companies I worked at. What I like most is how simple the dashboard is while still doing a great job breaking down complex KPIs in a way that actually makes sense. We mainly use Klar for D2C, and it’s been especially helpful while scaling two core channels: influencer and Meta. The influencer CRM is genuinely solid and makes it much easier to manage creators and performance in one place. On the paid side, the creative deep dive for Meta is very useful when you’re trying to understand what’s actually driving results instead of guessing. The add-on features are a real plus and make decision-making faster and more confident. Setup was straightforward, adoption across teams was easy, and it fits well into an existing analytics stack. Overall, it’s a strong product built by people who clearly understand how operators work.

What did you not like?

There are a few areas where I’d like to see more options. For example, the ability to group products by custom categories, independent from Shopify, would be very useful. Live tracking would also be a strong addition, similar to what tools like Metorik offer. On the visualization side, I’d love more flexibility in how KPIs are displayed. In attribution especially, it would be helpful to see metrics like ROAS evolving over time, instead of only comparing fixed date ranges. Trend-based views would make analysis and decision-making faster. Another thing to keep in mind is data hygiene. Klar offers a lot of flexibility in how data sources and channels are set up, which is great. But it also means you need to maintain those setups over time. It’s important to keep things clean and document your logic so the next person taking over doesn’t lose context or valuable data. Not a big issue, just something to be aware of.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We use Klar to centralize performance data and turn it into insights that are actually usable. It helps us move away from fragmented dashboards and manual reporting, and instead focus on understanding what’s driving growth. One of the biggest benefits is speed and clarity. We can quickly break down complex KPIs, analyze performance by channel, creative, and influencer, and make decisions with confidence. It’s been especially valuable for D2C, where fast execution matters. Team rollout is smooth as well. You don’t need to be an Excel expert to use it, which makes adoption easy across marketing, growth, and leadership. Overall, Klar has helped us scale more efficiently, improve decision-making, and reduce time spent on reporting while keeping a strong level of analytical depth.

Order journey segmentation: The order journey section is already very helpful. Additional value could be unlocked in the future by enabling extra segmentation options, such as country or language domain and product category. In our case, journeys for Formula 1 and Football differ substantially, and separating these would result in more accurate and actionable insights. Target setting within the platform: At this moment, it is not yet possible to configure separate targets within the platform based on our internal benchmarks. Being able to define custom targets (for example per channel or category) would provide clearer performance context. It is very positive that this functionality is already being worked on.

Paid Social & Display performance Clear visibility into the performance of our META campaigns and display partners, with the ability to verify whether reported results truly represent incremental value. This validation is critical, as in at least one case it revealed that performance was overstated, directly supporting the decision to stop working with a display partner. Paid Search scale impact Analysis of the impact of additional investments within Paid Search, ensuring that scale-ups represent incremental growth and do not cannibalize Organic Search. This helps identify sustainable and profitable scale opportunities. Category-level scaling insights In-depth category analyses to understand how scaling campaigns affects performance per category, enabling more informed budget allocation decisions. 1. Klar's attribution was the only one after testing multiple tools that made sense for us at Vacier. 2. The ability to use POAS vs ROAS only when weighing our marketing scaling decisions is a huge benefit. 3. Getting rid of a lot of separate sheets and having everything in one place made Klar the central data system for our day-to-day.

What did you not like?

Nothing to really dislike, but some additional market/country level data-views was something we mostly lack in Klar.

Ich würde mir mehr Handlungsempfehlungen innerhalb des Tools wünschen sowie einen AI Chatbot (z.B. so wie Moby AI bei TripleWhale) der mir dabei hilft, fundierte Entscheidungen auf Basis der GetKlar Daten zu treffen. On top würde ich mich sehr über eine Mobile App freuen.

Durch die verschiedenen Reports können wir fundierte Entscheidungen treffen und müssen uns nicht auf unser “Bauchgefühl” verlassen. Unsere Retention KPIs haben wir so immer im Blick. Einen großen Vorteil sehe ich in der intuitiven Nutzung & dem Support von Klar. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht nur um eine Software, sondern um ein tolles Team, was im Hintergrund alles für ihre Partner und Kunden gibt.

Wir hatten vor Klar einen WooCommerce Shop und dann auf Shopify umgestellt. Mit der Umstellung haben wir dann auch den Schritt zu Klar gewagt und seitdem haben wir endlich einen Überblick was unsere Marketing Kanäle machen und wie unsere KPI'S aussehen. Heißt das Attributionstool wird täglich verwendet und on top gibt es mit der BWA Funktion einen tiefen Einblick in die finanziell wichtigen Zahlen für das gesamte Unternehmen! Zudem kann man die Daten aus Klar ziehen und damit auch weitere Excel Sheets mit Daten anreichern - das wird bei mir täglich geprüft.

What did you not like?

"Viele Wege führen nach Rom" - manchmal stellt sich die Frage ob das Setup udn die Kostenzuordnung, so wie man es eingerichtet hat, die perfekte Einstellung ist. Aber das hängt vom Business und der Firmenphilosophie ab. Mehr Schnittstellen zu Tools wären noch top -aber an sich wird alles abgedeckt was man benötigt.

Das ich meine Entscheidungen auf Basis von Profitablität und mich nicht mehr auf zB den ROAS, etc. alleine verlassen muss. Klar als Art Echtzeit-BWA macht es einem deutlich einfacher, die richtigen Entscheidungen zu treffen.

Was mir persönlich fehlt: Es gibt aktuell keine Möglichkeit Umtausch-Retouren als solche innerhalb von Klar zu identifizieren und diesen dann auch die entsprechenden Kosten hinterlegen zu können. Ein Connect mit 8returns etc. wäre möglich.

Wir nutzen das Tool nun seit circa 18 Monaten und es hilft uns extremst dabei, unsere Daten viel besser zu verstehen und vor allem wirklich auch für Entscheidungen zu nutzen. Für uns ein echter Game Changer auf dem Weg unseren Shop zu skalieren. Der Kundenservice antwortet immer direkt und ist eine große Hilfe dabei, alles vernünftig aufzusetzen.

Es wäre noch hilfreich, wenn das Dashboard personalisierbar ist, so dass ich meine wichtigsten KPIs direkt auf einen Blick habe. Vielleicht geht das aber auch, und ich habe noch nicht herausgefunden, wie.

Einfache Bedienung, gute Anbindungen zu den wichtigsten Tools (Meta, Google, Amazon, Shopify etc.), Tagesaktueller Überblick über alle Zahlen. Hilft uns wirklich sehr.

What did you not like?

Teilweise etwas verspätete Daten. Morgens sind manchmal noch nicht alle Zahlen vom Vortag "drin".

Bessere Zahlenbasis, Jederzeit Überblick über DB3 und Influencer Performance.

What did you like?

Präzise und aktuell, wenn man es richtig gefüttert hat. Erstaunlich, wenn man die BWA gegenprüft, wie exakt die Ergebnisse sind.

What did you not like?

Ich verbringe viel zu viel Zeit in Klar, weil es so vielfältig ist und die Analysen einfach auch viele Erkenntnisse bringen. So verliert man eventuell den Fokus auf die wirklichen Hypothesen, weswegen man eigentlich mit der Analyse begonnen hat. Ich dachte, das vergeht mit der Zeit, nein, es bleibt und liegt wohl auch daran, dass ich viel Spass dabei habe.

Tägliche, teilweise stündliche Analyse beim Skalieren. Wochenweise Auswertungen und monatliche Deep Dives für eine umfassende Bewertung der Gesamtlage im Unternehmen.

What did you not like?

Nichst wirklich einige Dinge muss man sich erst einarbeiten (bspw. zwei Shops für CHF und EUR) aber sonst sehr einfach

What did you like?

MIt gefällt die einfache Usability. Weiterhin die Möglichkeit auch Google Sheets mit individuellen Kosten zu verknüpfen.

What did you not like?

Wünschenswert wäre noch mehr Ist-Kosten an Klar anzubinden. Wichtig sind wären aus meiner Sicht insb. die Logistikkosten.

Wir können mit KLAR unser Unternehmen nach CM3/DB§ steuern. Ich kann täglich die finanzielle Unternehmensperformance pro Vertriebskanal sehen.

What did you like?

Am besten gefällt mir, dass das Tool sehr intuitiv und selbsterklärend aufgebaut ist, super schnell lädt und wir alle Daten und Zahlen jederzeit im Blick haben. Wenn es Fragen gibt, ist der Support immer sehr zuverlässig und sehr kompetent - selten so einen guten Support erlebt!

Aktuell gibt es keine Kritik, da alle unsere Anforderungen voll abgedeckt werden.

Vorteil ist das wir ALLE Daten an einem Ort im Blick haben. Es erleichtert uns die tägliche Arbeit für diverse Auswertungen die wir benötigen oder um auch unsere festgelegten Ziele im Auge zu behalten.

What did you like?

Klar zwingt uns, unser Business wirklich ganzheitlich zu betrachten – nicht nur Marketing-KPIs, sondern Profitabilität, Deckungsbeiträge, Retention und Kundenwert in einem konsistenten Modell. Statt Reports zu konsumieren, arbeiten wir mit Klar aktiv an konkreten Hebeln, z. B. bei CAC-Zielen, Budgetallokation oder der Bewertung von Produkt- und Channel-Performance.

What did you not like?

Das ich häufig zu wenig Zeit finde, um mich noch intensiver mit dem Tool zu beschäftigen ;)

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Klar hilft uns vor allem dabei, Marketing- und Wachstumsentscheidungen konsequent an Profitabilität auszurichten. Statt uns auf isolierte Plattformdaten zu verlassen, sehen wir kanalübergreifend, welche Maßnahmen tatsächlich Wert schaffen – gemessen an CM2, CM3, CLV und Retention. Besonders wertvoll ist, dass Klar falsche Optimierungen verhindert (z. B. Wachstum auf Kosten der Marge) und uns klare Zielkorridore für CAC, Budgeteinsatz und Skalierung vorgibt.

Die Übersichtlichkeit und immer zeitaktuelle Übersicht der Zahlen. Der super Support und die Features die das Tool für die Auswertung der Zahlen mit sich bringt.

What did you not like?

Es wäre sehr nice, wenn es eine KI Chatfunktion geben würde, womit man sich genau nach seinen Bedürfnissen Ansichten erstellen lassen könnte.

What did you like?

Klar ist super benutzerfreundlich und man findet schnell, alles was man sucht. Die Zahlen, die man in Klar findet, sind die genausten, die man finden kann, weil man wirklich all seine Daten angibt und dann Zahlen erhält, die man sonst nur mit einem erfahrenen CFO sich einkaufen konnte. CLV + Wiederkaufsrate je nach Produkt und vor allem, wann die meisten Kunden nachkaufen, hat uns beispielsweise enorm dabei geholfen unsere Wiederkaufsrate und unseren CLV durch personalisierte Kundenerfahrungen zu steigern.

What did you not like?

Es gibt nichts, was ich am Tool nicht mag. Es ist super und hat alles, was man sich wünscht, insbesondere Zahlen, auf die man sich wirklich verlassen kann.

Auf einen Blick hat man alle seine wichtigsten Zahlen insbesondere CM1, CM2, CM3, CLV, CLV und Ebitda.

What did you like?

Man merkt sofort, dass KLAR aus einem Need heraus entwickelt wurde von Leuten, die selbst aus dem D2C-Space kommen. Absolut übersichtlich, klar strukturiert und in sich super verständlich. Dazu alle Zahlen an einem Ort, ohne zig Tools zu brauchen. Wir können mit KLAR tiefgreifende Analysen fahren, die alle Variablen einbeziehen, und damit langfristig auf profitables Wachstum optimieren.

What did you not like?

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit KLAR! Es gibt natürlich immer individuelle Anforderungen, die teils noch nicht verfügbar sind. Hier ist der Support von KLAR allerdings extrem schnell, hilfsbereit und kompetent + KLAR entwickelt sich ständig weiter. Deswegen: Happy!

KLAR ist das Tool für uns, um alle Daten übereinanderlegen zu können, ohne aus mehreren Tools und Excel-Listen zusammenzukopieren. Deswegen spart es uns echt viel Zeit. Dazu ist es eine Source, die wir nutzen, um bessere (datenbasierte) Entscheidungen treffen zu können, um Wins & Loses zu messen, einzuordnen und letztlich Wachstum zu generieren.

Profit and Loss views, cohort analysis, different levels of contribution margin, the support we get from the team is superb.

What did you not like?

Unable to make segments by country / market - this is vital when understanding differences between overseas customers.

What did you like?

Die transparente Aufbereitung aller unternehmensrelevanten Zahlen hilft immens bei der Entscheidungsfindung. Diese Transparenz schafft sonst nur eine tagesaktuelle BWA oder eine komplexe und selbstgebastelte Excel, beides ist unrealistisch. Klar ist damit eine gute Abkürzung und ein Blick hinter die Kulissen für alle angeschlossenen Partner.

What did you not like?

Hilfreich wären kleinere Verbesserungen wie beispielsweise proaktive Hinweise auf die Notwendigkeit, neu hinzugefügte Datenquellen und deren Daten den dazu passenden Channels zuzuordnen. Das geht gerne unter. Gleiches gilt für Beispiele zur Nutzung der vielen Möglichkeiten. Meiner Erfahrung nach bleiben die meisten Nutzenden nur an der Oberfläche.

Das übersichtliche Dashboard, die Post Purchase Survey Integration, das stimmige Marketing Mix Modelling, das ich so in noch keinem anderen Tool erlebt habe.

What did you not like?

Dass es das Attribution Tool leider nicht alleinstehend gibt. Das BI Tool ist super, aber für einige Brands ist nur die Attribution relevant.

Man merkt einfach an jeder Stelle, dass die Entwickler von Klar selbst aus dem E-Commerce kommen. Das Tool ist durchdacht, logisch aufgebaut, einfach zu nutzen und der Support ist auch super!

What did you not like?

Fällt mir schwer etwas negatives zu über klar zu sagen. Das einzige was in den letzten Monaten passiert ist, war ein kurzer Ausfall wegen cloudflare :D

KLAR ist super schnell aufgesetzt, verbindet sich mit den wichtigsten Datenquellen und gibt einem einen schnellen Überblick über die wichtigsten KPIs eines Onlineshops.

What did you not like?

Integrationen sind ausbaufähig (Shopware 6 kommt teilweise an Grenzen, weitere CRM-Lösungen fehlen). Man merkt, dass der Fokus hier stark auf dem Toolstack Shopify & Klaviyo liegt, was bei vielen D2C Stores natürlich auch Standard ist.

Das Attributionstool hatte im Google Ads Kontext in der Vergangenheit noch Schwachstellen an denen jetzt aber sehr intensiv gearbeitet wurde.
