What did you like?
Mir gefällt dass Google Cloud Spanner sowohl vertikal als auch horizontal skalierbar ist, dadurch können wir daten weltweit synchron halten. Die Integration in der GCP welt funktioniert ohne probleme und ist sehr hilfreich. Es nimmt einem sehr viel administrative Arbeit ab dadurch dass es eine automatische sharding und replikationsfunktion gibt.
What did you not like?
Die Kosten können höher sein und erfordern eine vernünftige Ressourceneinschätzung. Die Fortgeschritene Funktionen und Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten können für EInsteiger komplex sein und benötigen einiges an Wissen. Die Lernkurve kann sehr steil sein.

Wir lösen das Problem dass wir dadurch eine global verteile Datenbank mit hoher Konsistenz und Verfügbarkeit besitzten. Die Vorteile sind automatische Skalierung und Datenreplikation und die Performance ist ebenfalls konstant.
