Smarketer is a search advertising agency specialising in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, with offices in Berlin and Kassel. Founded in 2011 by David Gabriel, the team today looks after around 1,000 active clients across e-commerce, retail and B2B, among them Audible, TIER and Walbusch.

As a Google Premier Partner, Google CSS Premium Partner and Microsoft Advertising Elite Partner, Smarketer holds the top partner status on both platforms. Services range from Google Search, Shopping and Performance Max through Demand Gen and YouTube Ads to Microsoft Advertising across Bing, Ecosia, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo, plus connected TV and Netflix ads. Added to this are ChatGPT Ads, conversion rate optimisation, server-side tracking, feed optimisation with the Smarketer Commerce Suite and SEA in-housing for teams building the capability internally.

Campaigns are steered on contribution margin: Smarketer optimises towards POAS and makes the profit contribution of each channel visible. Fees are performance-based, every client works with a dedicated contact, and specialists for Amazon, paid social and GEO/SEO are available through the Smarketer Group when a mandate calls for them.
