Founded in Hamburg in 2014, the company Sponsoo sees itself, according to its own statements, as 'Europe's largest marketplace for sports sponsorship'. Sponsoo can be seen as an interface between sponsors, companies, agencies, and athletes, teams, clubs. The database is said to consist of over 5000 individual athletes and more than 5000 teams/clubs. Users can filter for sponsorship for various sports and for regional (city) sponsorship and choose from offers created by athletes in the form of packages at different prices. According to its own statements, Sponsoo's medium-term goal is to digitalize the entire sports sponsorship process.
