Shotcut is a free, open-source, cross-platform video editor for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Key features include support for a wide range of formats. No import is necessary, meaning native timeline editing, support for Blackmagic Design for input and preview monitoring, as well as support for resolutions up to 4k is possible. Since Shotcut is an open-source solution, Shotcut is available free of cost. Shotcut does not contain any paid extensions.
