What did you like?

• Intuitive and user-friendly interface. • Organization-specific URL for a personalized workspace. • Easy organization using vaults and nested folders. • Color labels and tags make entries easy to categorize and filter. • Support for custom fields to store additional information. • Detailed activity logs and per-entry event history for auditing. • Ability to duplicate entries while retaining color labels and custom fields. • Customizable workspace banner. • Responsive, professional, and helpful customer support.

What did you not like?

• No significant issues encountered so far. • Still in the evaluation phase, so I haven't fully tested all features in a production environment.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

• Passwork helps solve the challenge of securely organizing and managing a growing number of passwords and credentials. With vaults, folders, tags, and color labels, credentials can be structured in a way that makes them easier to locate and manage without relying on spreadsheets or scattered storage methods. • Passwork improves visibility and accountability when managing shared credentials. Detailed activity logs and per-record history provide better tracking of changes and access, making it easier to understand who performed an action and when it happened. • Passwork makes collaboration and credential management more efficient by providing a centralized workspace for storing and maintaining passwords. Features such as custom fields, entry duplication, and customizable organization settings help adapt the platform to different team workflows and requirements.

What did you like?

What did you not like?

Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?

Very good pricing and offers multi-year discounts. Good user and admin experience. Good documentation. Great password sharing options. Better password organization compared to Bitwarden (I hated Bitwarden's collection design) . Can be run air-gapped and self hosted. Zero-knowledge server encryption is optional. Supports SAML SSO and LDAP integration. Audit log of access and changes to password entries.

What did you not like?

Secrets management could be better. Each service account you create consumes a license and you can't scope permissions per API key. So if you want to utilize the API for secrets management, you have to choose between overly broad permissions or purchasing a lot of licenses for granular API access. The licenses are very affordable, but having an API key's permission scope cost the same as a human user feels bad. Also with the API, Passwork only publishes a Python library and CLI tool for API interaction. The API is fully documented so you could build your own tool without a Python dependency if needed, but it would be nice to have a native Windows tool available. Desktop client doesn't support auto-type. A feature I'll miss moving from KeePass. Doesn't have much for built in reporting aside from the activity audit log and the security dashboard.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Our small business wanted to migrate from KeePass to something with a native browser extension and was centrally managed. I evaluated trials of self-hosted Bitwarden, KeePass Hub, and Passwork. Passwork had the best overall experience and the best pricing. It was a great fit for our business.

What did you like?

Passwork has a simple yet effective UI. The browser extension works great, both application and extension are fast (compared to some competing solutions we tested before). The support is excellent

What did you not like?

At this point, after using the solution for a few weeks, we have not found real issues or things we didn't like.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We were looking for a hosted password manager that would allow us to share some passwords between groups of people

What did you like?

We use Passwork as our primary business password manager and have been very happy with it so far. The interface is clean and intuitive, onboarding the team was straightforward, and sharing credentials between teams and individual users works reliably. The self-hosted option and the rights management are a major plus: you can create multiple vaults and control precisely who has access to what. The vendor is also very responsive and is actively working on new features, which we genuinely appreciate. Pros: TOTP support, multiple languages, easy installation, good scalability as the team grows, and a vendor that is active and easy to reach. There is also a desktop app now, although we haven’t had the chance to test it in our day-to-day workflow yet.

What did you not like?

Cons: The browser plugin is functional but not as smooth or feature-rich as Bitwarden or 1Password.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Passwork solves our need for a secure, centrally managed place to store and share credentials across teams. Before, passwords were scattered across different tools and people. Now everything is organized in one place with clear access controls. The self-hosted option was important for us from a data sovereignty perspective, and the role-based rights management means we can make sure the right people have access to the right things without any overhead.

What did you like?

The feature I like the most and basically the reason we chose it is the fact that you can organize passwords in folders and subfolders making a logical structure.

What did you not like?

The graphical UI could use some improvement at least for me it seems like the font on the menus is a bit hard to read and overall look and feel of the UI is not that exciting

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We needed a place to safely store you credentials and we didn't want to use any cloud based solution so the self-hosted version of Passwork fits us perfectly as we have full control over who can access it.

What did you like?

The best feature of Passwork is the integration with the browser and the smartphone app. Also the possibility to add the TOTP in the password profile permit to simplify the access to secured system.

What did you not like?

At the moment, there’s nothing I don’t like or that doesn’t work in Passwork. Whenever there have been requests for new features, they’ve been taken on board.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

It was the main solution for addressing regulatory issues arising from ISO 27001 certification. It also reduced the risk of mishandling credentials for critical systems within the company.

What did you like?

What did you not like?

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Passwörter firmenweit zu managen. Keine Software auf den Clientgeräten notwendig.

What did you like?

Saubere Benutzerschnittstelle.

What did you not like?

Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?

I am very satisfied with Passwork. The software is well-structured, easy to use, and makes secure password management within a team much simpler. I especially appreciate the clear organization and the ability to flexibly manage access rights. The setup was also quick and straightforward. Overall, a reliable and highly recommended solution for companies looking to manage their passwords professionally.

What did you not like?

There is very little to dislike about Passwork. Overall, the experience has been very positive, and the software meets our expectations well. If anything, there is always some room for minor improvements, but nothing that significantly impacts our daily use.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Passwork helps us solve the problem of managing and sharing passwords securely within our team. Before using it, credentials were often stored in insecure places or shared manually, which increased the risk of data breaches and confusion. With Passwork, we now have a centralized and well-organized system for password management. It improves security, saves time, and makes collaboration much easier. We also benefit from bett
