Besonders hervorzuheben ist die einfache und gelernte Bedienmethodik über eine virtuelle Ordner-Struktur sowie die Möglichkeit, projektübergreifend mit verschiedenen Teams zusammenzuarbeiten. Die KI-Suche ermöglicht es uns, Bilder zu finden, die ohne jegliche Metadaten im System gespeichert wurden. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass wir standortunabhängig, also auch mobil auf den Baustellen arbeiten können, da die Software in der Cloud läuft und über einen Standard-Webbrowser bedient wird.

Verbesserungspotenzial sehen wir in einigen Bereichen, die aus unserer Sicht als sinnvolle Weiterentwicklungen betrachtet werden können. Eine direktere Anbindung an gängige Projektmanagement-Tools (z. B. Procore oder Bauzeitenpläne) würde die Integration in bestehende Arbeitsprozesse weiter verbessern. Die automatisierte Schlagwortvergabe durch die Künstliche Intelligenz funktioniert zwar, liefert aber hinsichtlich der Genauigkeit in unserer Themenwelt zu wenig nutzbaren Wert. Die Trefferquote ist bisher einfach zu gering, die KI- Komponente ersetzt bei uns also derzeit noch nicht das manuelle Verschlagworten. Weiterhin könnten wir uns eine einfache Funktion zur Bildoptimierung sehr gut vorstellen.

Die Medaflow DAM Software hat sich in unserem Unternehmen als äußerst hilfreiches Tool für die strukturierte Baudokumentation sowie die Erstellung und Bereitstellung von Exposés zu unseren Referenzprojekten bewährt. Durch die zentrale Verwaltung und die KI-unterstützte Verschlagwortung von Bildern und Videos lassen sich relevante Inhalte schnell auffinden, was insbesondere bei der Nachverfolgung von Baufortschritten und der Archivierung projektbezogener Informationen entscheidend ist. Die Schnittstellen zu den gängigen Office-Programmen ermöglicht uns eine nahtlose Übergabe von Dateien in Dritt-Applikationen. Die Erstellung hochwertiger Exposés mit konsistenter visueller Qualität gelingt auch grafischen Laien durch im System hinterlegte Templates. Insgesamt ermöglicht uns Medaflow eine deutliche Zeitersparnis und schafft Transparenz sowie Wiederverwendbarkeit in der Dokumentation und Präsentation unserer Projekte.

Mediaflow bietet alles was wir gesucht haben und noch viel mehr! Es ist benutzerfreundlich, intuitiv zu bedienen und hat eine übersichtliche Struktur. Dank den Anpassungsmöglichkeiten und der gegliederten Benutzerverwaltung ist es für Nutzende mit unterschiedlichen technischen Kenntnissen geeignet. Das Organisieren vieler Mediendateien gelingt dank guter Suchfunktion mit Metadaten und Keywords sowie der KI-Bilderkennung. Bildmaterial kann mit externen Stellen via Webshares unkompliziert geteilt werden und es ist auch möglich Upload-Links zu erstellen. Es ist skalierbar und bietet viele Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten durch zusätzliche Module. Die Schulung durch das Team und der Support sind top.

What did you not like?

Besonders bei Ordner mit vielen Daten dauert die Anzeige der Assets ziemlich lange. Das hat sich jedoch schon verbessert.

Die zentrale Organisation unseres Foto- und Videoarchivs schafft Effizienz. Dank der Webshare-Funktion können wir das Bildmaterial auch unkompliziert mit externen Partner teilen und lokale Bildschaffende können ihr Material via Upload-Link direkt in unser Bildarchiv hochladen. Die Daten zu unserem Corporate Design sind ebenfalls auf Mediaflow und können so intern als auch extern zugänglich gemacht werden.

What did you like?

Besonders gut gefällt unserem Team, dass das System durch die Module so viele Funktionen abbilden kann, aber trotzdem so einfach zu bedienen ist. Darum konnten wir auch innerhalb weniger Tage nach der Bestellung produktiv mit Mediaflow arbeiten. Das skalierbare Pricing ist ebenfalls sehr positiv zu bewerten.

What did you not like?

Momentan haben wir eingentlich keine Negativpunkte zu nennen. Perspektivisch würden wir uns neben den vorhandenen Modulen auch noch PIM-Funktionalitäten wünschen.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir ermöglichen dem ganzen Team unkompliziert auf die jeweils aktuellen Unterlagen zuzugreifen. Die Umrechnung von Dateien für Social Media ist auch eine wichtige Funktion, weil wir jetzt weniger teure Bildbearbeitungs-Lizenzen benötigen. Das Videostreaming ist super, weil es DSGVO-konform ist und alle Daten in einer Plattform liegen.

What did you like?

Uns haben drei Dinge überzeugt, die Software einzusetzen: die einfache Bedienung, die schnelle Inbetriebnahme und die überschaubare Kostenstruktur. Wir zahlen nur für die Funktionen, die wir wirklich benötigen, haben aber die Freiheit in Zukunft weitere Module hinzuzufügen. Das Basis-System deckt bereits viele Funktionen ab, die wir früher mit verschiedenen Programmen abbilden mussten. Die technische Unterstützung bei der Datenmigration aus einer bestehenden Ordner-Struktur hat und sehr geholfen, insbesondere dem Service-Team, die mittlerweile täglich auf das Portal zugreifen.

What did you not like?

Momentan kommen wir mit dem Funktionsumfang gut zurecht, haben wir keine eigenen Anforderungen, die nicht erfüllt werden. Perspektivisch wünschen wir uns eine Anbindung an unser zukünftiges Typo3 basiertes CMS-System

What did you like?

It's easy to upload and organize films and movies and also to add tags and other metadata. We also use the live streaming.

What did you not like?

I can't think of anything I miss or don't like. Mediaflow has everything we need today.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Mediaflow help us to organize our phots an movies in a good way. It also helps us to quickly find photos for different puposes. The intregration with Sitevision also saves us a lot of time.

What I appreciate most is how incredibly easy Mediaflow is to use — both in the backend and the frontend. Whether it’s uploading, organizing, or sharing media, everything feels streamlined and well-structured. The interface is clean, intuitive and incredibly easy to navigate.

What did you not like?

Honestly, I can’t think of anything I dislike. My experience so far has been entirely positive. The only thing I can think of is that is not entirely positive is that it's a bit pricey.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

One word: Organizing! Mediaflow helps me streamline the entire process of organizing, storing, and sharing media across our organization. What stands out most is how quickly you find what you need and how little friction there is in the workflow.

I like the ease of use and great support. We distribute a lot of marketing and training material to our distributors and save a lot of time doing it via the web portal.

What did you not like?

I am waitning for the next generation web portal which will hopefully have a better way of handling access and invitations.

We save a lot of time by having all assets in one place, and it's easy to share content with others. I like the integration with PowerPoint and InDesign; I use it a lot.

I appreciate how well Mediaflow fits our organization and supports our daily production needs. The built-in GDPR features give us a reliable framework for handling sensitive material in a compliant way. What did you like?

The way they listen to their costumers and keeps coming back with updates. How they make it easy to handle images correctly. Integration with other platforms and programs.

What did you not like?

In the longrun it might get expensive to store big videofiles there. Would like it to be as smooth on the field taking pictures and managing files on the go.

To let the organisation use images without worrying about if and how the can use them. Easy to find and share images and videos. Manage gdpr and to see the use of the images.

What did you like?

We started using MediaFlow about six months ago and are very pleased. Easy to share entire folders or individual images to people outside the organization (and it looks good!) and smooth connection to our CMS. Love that we now have all our agreements digitally and that our photographers can manage that for us. Bonus that the movie function also works so well. To meet the accessibility requirements, we have previously only used Youtube even if the intention was "only" to show internally or at specific events.

What did you not like?

We would love if there was an easy way to separate the access to certain folders on our website based on their rights on the site. But that might be due to how our sites are built rather than a MediaFlow problem...

Which problems are you solving with the product?

GDPR agreements, streaming video, sharing many or a few images can easily be managed.

Die Webfreigaben sind für unsere Kunden leider etwas unübersichtlich da es keine zusätzliche Such- oder Filterfunktion gibt.

What did you like?

Unkompliziertes zu nutzendes Medienarchiv mit vielen Möglichkeiten, Assets zu verwalten, zu speichern und zu teilen. Intuitiv zu bedienen. Als cloudbasiertes System können viele Nutzer gleichzeitig damit arbeiten. Für Mitarbeiter einer Verwaltung, die tagtäglich z.B. Kontrollen vor Ort oder Ist-Zustände in der Fläche kontrollieren und mit Fotos/Videos zu dokumentieren haben, eine zeitsparende Lösung. Die Archivierung ermöglicht eine spätere Dokumentation und Auswertung. Die mögliche Grundverschlagwortung über eine KI spart Zeit und entspricht dem aktuellen technischen Stand. Die Ausspielung von Assets im Portal überzeugt in Videos mit KI-gestützten Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten durch lippensynchrone Übersetzung bei agierenden Personen in so ziemlich alle Sprachen. Dies unterstützt barrierearme/-freie Angebotsformen.

What did you not like?

Eine Bearbeitungsmöglichkeit für die Assets wäre wünschenswert (z.B. Tools für die Fotobearbeitung)

The system works well and makes it easy to manage and share our media assets. Whenever we encounter issues or have questions, the support team is responsive and helpful. It's also clear that Mediaflow is continuously improving the product, with regular updates and new features being added.

What did you not like?

A few of the plugins we use feel outdated and not in line with the rest of the system's development. Additionally, the way files are archived could be more flexible — the current structure can feel a bit limiting at times.

What did you like?

Vorteil ist der modulare Aufbau des Gesamtsystems. Der Schwerpunkt liegt klar auf der Asset Verwaltung, andere Module wie Branding, DSGVO usw. können hinzugefügt werden. Die Datenmigration aus einem anderen namhaften System lief sehr professionell und unkompliziert ab, die Unterstützung war höchst professionell mit aktiven Hinweisen, Vorschlägen sowie einer reibungslosen Umsetzung. Bei komplexen Datenbeständen ist die Steuerung über separate Portale, die auf jeweilige Benutzerklientel konfigurierbar sind, eine wertvolle Umsetzung.

Bei der Vorarbeit zur Migration wurden mehrere namhafte Anbieter verglichen. Hier schnitt Mediaflow am besten ab, weil der Fokus auf der Asset Verwaltung liegt. Schwachstelle bei allen getesteten Anbietern (auch Mediaflow) ist die automatisierte Schlagwortvergabe durch AI. Die Trefferquote ist einfach zu gering. Die AI Komponente ersetzt kein manuelles Verschlagworten.

Bereitstellung eines Mediendatenbestandes für einen Benutzerkreis mit speziellen Anforderungen durch Migration von einem jahrelang genutzten DAM System. Der Datenbestand ist Teil eines komplexen Bestands mit unterschiedlichen Anforderungen. Durch Bereitstellung dieses Teils in einem separaten Portal ist es für die Anwender unkompliziert, weiterhin die gewünschten Medien zu finden. Es ist keine Umgewöhnung zu dem vorher verwendeten DAM Systems notwendig.

What did you like?

I like the way you structure folders and give them attributes that the images in the folder get, automatic alternative text, AI search when it works.

What did you not like?

The AI-search is not the best. Some information about files are burried. The backend is unusable on iphone.

We consolidate our mediafiles in an easy to administrate and searchable app, and make use of the API to get a connection to our CMS and design-software.

Ermöglichung der standortunabhängigen Asset Verwaltung. Die Suchfunktion innerhalb der Bilddatenbank arbeitet viel schneller als unsere vorherige nicht cloudbasierte Lösung mit einer anderen Anwendung. Die Suchfunktion spielt ein präzises Ergebnis aus und gefällt vor allem durch die KI-Integration.

Mediaflow is a simple tool that makes everyday life easier. Instructional videos and its light structure make it both clear and easy to succeed. The Play channel is easy to navigate and its design is user-friendly both for me who works with and our users who are looking for information.

What did you not like?

Nothing I can think about right now. Feels that development is moving forward quickly, which is positive.

What did you like?

It's easy to access our high quality photos and videos through Mediaflow. It's easy to search our files thanks to tools like tagging and search filter. It's easy to share files without the need of downlading and uploading them again somewhere; just use Mediaflow's "Web links" with settings like expire date and the purpose of sharing.

What did you not like?

Rarely we need to access Mediaflow through a phone, but when we do the mobile UX-experience lacks a lot in terms of responsiveness and easy navigating.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We don't need to upload our files somewhere to share them; just choose the files and share directly. The plugin for Indesign is very useful for access to our files in Mediaflow directly. There's also a media portal that easily allows us to share visual merchendising and digital assets to our second hand shops around the county; just choose what files in Mediaflow they should access.

Easy to use, intuitive and flexible, it makes it easy and convenient to keep all our images organized and easy to share them with others.

What did you not like?

Everything can always be improved and it is done regularly, but I only see advantages in using Mediaflow.

Keeping track of all files and versions. The ease of sharing with others. Downloading images in the right format directly. The benefits are many.
