What did you like?
How fast and direct-to-the-point it is to start creating diagrams. For me was useful for modelling an algorithm and provide it as a complementary material for a mobile application´s user story. Then it was possible to extract the diagram super fast and crop it to content so that it could be moved somewhere else easier.
What did you not like?
I dislike that once you reach the limit of elements in a free version you are kind of fully blocked to keep enhancing your diagram. You can have multiple versions but until you don´t upgrade then you will be limited to do so. I also faced a problem losing the access to a diagram since it was redirecting me to the home page. The workaround was to duplicate the file and grant the accesses to the people I was collaborating with.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
I am using it to describe better and faster some functionalities that need to be programmed, so that people in multiple departments of the team understand the logic and are on the same page.

So far I have not come across anything that I dislike about the software. The simple answer would be to say "pricing", but even that I think is well structured to suit your needs either as an individual or a business.

I originally discovered Lucidchart when looking for a new way to mindmap. I started using it for this, as found is very easy to take my thoughts, and turn them into processes and flow diagrams. Now the tool is helping me significantly with visual representation of ideas. I have not used it yet for collaboration, however I think this feature could be extremely useful.

What did you like?
Very user friendly, especially for beginners. You can create nice diagrams, organograms for your company, and in case you want to improve processes and workflows you can use Lucidchart to easily map it and identify pain points and points of improvement, all done in a very intuitive way (my experience at least). While it's a cloud based software it's still possible to use it offline. Prompts also for the integrations with other apps (e.g. Google Drive, Slack, Jira, etc).
What did you not like?
Free version has limited features, and if you go for the paid versions it can become a bit pricey, if your teams are bigger. If you are working with more complex diagrams it can lag a bit, so take that into consideration.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
I use it to create company organograms and to document processes (it helps to identify pain points and areas for improvements).

The possibility to almost fetch anything from anywhere to add to the grid.. photos, objects, and also shapes.. to make a floor plan felt like an open source.. still has limitations.. but worked wonderfully. Would love it to grow more in this regard. I have not tried charts though.
What did you not like?
The fact the I cant rotate the whole grid was a big hassle.. some other simple features that I would expect were missing but everything works fine.. grid measurements were tricky to navigate and wenn exporting pdf of floor plans, items kept moving which makes the whole plan looks unprofessional.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Needed to draw a floor plan for our new warehouse and office.. It was great to actually visualize all of it and actually get the result expected.. but some things had to be navigated throughout with the missing features and some limitations. So there was some DYI with shapes and objects but that allowed some creativity to get in and take control. Not every app or website has to be perfect, it just has to allow us to figure it out, and Lucid allows just that,

Nice integration with other apps, easy to use (there is still a learning curve, at least if you want to use it for more complex tasks), paid team and enterprise plans allow you to add a password to protect your files for sharing.
What did you not like?
Team and Enterprise plans get a bit expensive and the free version has several limitations (the other competitors don't limit so much the free version). It's missing some CAD-based features which can be needed for more complex diagrams.

I like the ability to make process charts and brainstorm ideas, so everybody in a team knows how the process should look like. Also the possiblity to comment is awesome.
What did you not like?
It's hard to find downsides on this platform, but what I would warmly welcomed would be option to share the charts and the other person could add comments or edit even without signing up.

I use LucidChart primarily for creating seamless process charts that I can share with coleagues, so its easy for them to know what are the required steps of the process. Also for brainstorming and comparing edits on a website (2 screenshots next to each other and making comments about the changes.

The idea of zooming in and out at any scale letting you condense information and keep things at one place. Generally I had to create lengthy documents which were difficult to navigate and change scales

The initial learning curve with the arrows, it sometimes attaches to different position then expected and you need to have some practice to be good at it.

Für mich als Freelancer hat sich Lucidchart zu einem unverzichtbaren Werkzeug entwickelt. Es erlaubt mir, komplexe Abläufe, Strukturen und Abläufe rasch und klar darzustellen. Insbesondere bei der Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden oder anderen Freelancern ist die Echtzeit-Kollaboration ein großer Vorteil. Durch die Einbindung in Programme wie Google Drive, Jira oder Confluence wird der Austausch und die Organisation erheblich vereinfacht. Ich schätze auch die Flexibilität des Tools – ich kann alles von simplen Flussdiagrammen bis zu detaillierten Systemarchitekturen darstellen.

Ich nutze Lucidchart vor allem für Prozessabläufe und Modellierungen von Workflows. Das klappt echt gut, da für BPMN oder UML direkt die einzelnen Elemente hinterlegt sind, und ich somit sie "nur" an die richtige Stelle manövrieren muss. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen einfachen Download Button, sodass man direkt das Diagramm herunterladen kann, für die weitere Verarbeitung. Der Collaborations-Modus ist ebenfalls sehr hilfreich.

Vom Preisleistungsverhältnis ist das Tool echt gut. Ich kann nichts nennen, was mir nicht gefällt. Lucidchart ist für mich das eine Tool, wenn es um Modellierungen geht. Hier kann man sich ganz auf die Prozesse konzentrieren und wird durch das intuitive Interface unterstützt.

Mit Lucidchart lassen sich alle möglichen Diagramme umsetzen. Das Tool bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten und vorallem eine große Palette an Vorlagen - so sind z.B. UML-Diagramme auch schnell gebaut. Das Userinterface ist so aufgebaut, dass man alles schnell und unkompliziert finden kann.

Werden die Diagramme größer so wirkt sich das auf die Leistung aus. Hier sollte noch dran gearbeitet werden.

Lucidchart ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Ich habe damals als ich angefangen habe mit Lucidchart zu arbeiten keine wirkliche Einarbeitung gebraucht, da alles wirklich einfach ist. Natürlich muss man sich vorher Gedanken darüber machen, wie man Sein Diagramm/Organigramm aufbauen und visuell darstellen möchte, allerdings gibt Lucidchart da viele Tipps. Durch die Möglichkeit alles einzeln zu konfigurieren (Nach Farbe und Co) bleibt alles unabhängig von der Größe übersichtlich und nachvollziehbar.

Tatsächlich habe ich an diesem Tool keinerlei Kritik. Es macht genau was was es soll. Vielleicht als Kleinigkeit: wenn man etwas kopiert/dupliziert ist es nicht exakt von der Position her und das Layout könnte etwas moderner sein.

Das einzige, was mir nicht mehr mega gut gefällt, ist die optische Oberfläche von in der man bei Lucidchart arbeitet. Hier wäre ein Update der Designs und Struktur mal wünschenswert.

LucidChart ist sehr einfach in der Anwendung. Ich habe mich auf anhieb super zurecht gefunden und brauchte quasi keine Einarbeitungszeit. Es gibt wahnsinnig viele Möglichkeiten seine Prozesse, Diagramme oder Mind Maps zu erstellen. Was mir auch gut gefällt ist die Arbeit im Team. Oft kommt es vor das wird LucidChart als Mind Map nutzen und während eines Meetings gemeinsam daran arbeiten.

Leider ist es so das die Perfomance nach einiger Zeit etwas leidet. Je größer die Diagramme werden, desto langsamer wird das Tool. Das kann mitunter ganz schön tröge und mühsam werden.

Mit LucidChart lassen sich sehr schnell und einfach ansehnliche Prozesse darstellen, welche sich dann ganz einfach in viele Dateiformate exportieren lassen. Da ich häufig Prozesse als Bild z.B. für unsere Website benötige, ist dies eine sehr hilfreiche Funktion.

Allgemeine sehr gute Benutzererfahrung und eine sehr einfach gehaltene User Interface. Die LucidChart-Funktionen sind leicht zu erlernen, zudem punktet die synchronisierbare Web-App, die auch offline funktioniert. Reichhaltige Objektbibliotheken und Vorlagen sorgen für einen schnellen Aufbau von Charts mit Prozessvisualisierungen, Moodboards, etc.

Vorlagenübersicht eher schwach bzw. zu viele unattraktive Templates, die teilweise zu komplex sind oder die man schlicht und einfach in einem normalen kreativen Betrieb nicht braucht.

LucidChart ist ideal für die Visualisierung von Prozessen oder Workflows. Gegenüber Powerpoint oder Excel sind solche Diagramming-Tools viel einfach zu erlernen und verwenden. Die Nutzung ist einfach und unkompliziert. Zeitgleiches Bearbeiten von Dokumenten ist kein Problem bei Lucidcharts. Viele kostenfrei gute Vorlagen stehen zur Verfügung. Webbasiert und viele Integrations Möglichkeiten.Gemeinsames Arbeiten an dem selben Dokument problemlos möglich.

Wir nutzen Lucid Charts meistens für internes Brainstorming über Prozesse. Die Bedienung ist sehr simpel und es können mehrere User gleichzeitig an einem Dokument arbeiten. Weiterhin nutzen wir einige der kostenfrei verfügbaren Vorlagen wie z.B. Playbooks, Business Process Design Books. Das gesamte Tool ist webbasiert und daher auch bei verteilten Teams super gut nutzbar. Es gibt viele Integrationen in andere Tools wie Slack, Figma, OnDrive und mehr.
What did you not like?
Lucid ist in der Vollversion nicht günstig – kostengünstigere Pläne mit Abstufung der Leistung wäre top. Wenn man mal drucken muss (kommt ja manchmal vor) dann besser zuerst in ein pdf exportieren weil es sonst (zumindest bei uns) immer zu Skalierungsproblemen geführt hat.

Die Möglichkeit in kurzer Zeit komplexe Workflows grafisch darzustellen und im Team daran zu arbeiten. Ein digitales Whiteboard für alle Arbeitsabläufe die man visuell gerne darstellen möchte. Durch die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten kann man Bedingungen gut darstellen aber auch durch Farbgebung einzelne Abteilungen markieren.

Es gibt nicht viel zu meckern. Die Ladezeit der Software ist teilweise ein wenig lang und es ist relativ basic gehalten aber am Ende des Tages macht es damit das Tool aus denn es konzentriert sich aufs wesentliche.

What did you like?
- Schnelle und einfache Erstellung von Flussdiagrammen und Referenzdiagrammen.
- Saubere und schnelle Exporte in das PDF-Format, unabhängig von der Größe der Leinwand.
- Browserbasierte Anwendung, die einen schnellen Einstieg ermöglicht, ohne dass komplizierte Setup-Dateien installiert werden müssen.
- Zugriff von überall, da im Internet verfügbar.
- Intuitive Navigations- und Symbolleisten erleichtern die Erstellung von Diagrammen.
What did you not like?
- Was mir an Lucidchart nicht gefällt, ist der Mangel an Anpassungsmöglichkeiten. Es wäre toll, Funktionen wie Gantt-Diagramme zu haben, aber angesichts der Art wie Lucidchart konzipiert ist wäre es schwierig sie zu implementieren.
- Außerdem wäre es gut, wenn man die Farbe eines Symbols, das man einem Diagramm hinzufügt, ändern könnte.

Wir haben Lucidchart für eine Vielzahl von Projekten eingesetzt, unter anderem für die Erstellung neuer Kommunikationsflüsse und Entwicklung von Strategien. Durch den Einsatz von Lucidchart können wir unseren Projektstatus visuell ansprechend und übersichtlich darstellen. LucidChart ist für mich zu einem unverzichtbaren Werkzeug geworden, das ich fast täglich verwende um verschiedene Dokumente zu erstellen und zu aktualisieren.

What did you like?
Das Erstellen eines Flußdiagramms geht schnell und einfach. Alle benötigten Symbole sind vorhanden. Die Oberfläche ist einfach zu bedienen, läuft stabil und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
What did you not like?
Auf die Schnelle fällt mir kein Verbesserungspotential ein. In der kostenlosen Version würde ich mir mehr Exportmöglichkeiten wünschen - aber es ist ja legitim mit Software-Entwicklung Geld verdienen zu wollen.

Erstellen eines Flußdiagramms um den Überblick bei einer sehr komplexen Software-Enticklung zu behalten.

What did you like?
Wir nutzen Lucid Chart um interne Prozesse darzustellen. Durch die einfache und intuitive Handhabung ist das ein Kinderspiel. Am besten gefällt mir, dass man gemeinsam an den Dokumenten arbeiten kann, egal wo man sitzt. Ebenfalls sehr gut finde ich die vielen Vorlagen, die einem die Arbeit oft erleichtern.
What did you not like?
Viel zu kritisieren gibt es meiner Meinung nach nicht. Das einzige kleine Manko ist für mich, dass der Aufbau manchmal sehr lange dauert und die Ladezeiten hier etwas besser sein könnten. Gerade wenn man mal schnell eine Datei öffnen möchte, dauert es hier oft etwas länger. Dies hat aber natürlich keinerlei Auswirkungen auf den Funktionsumfang und wenn es einmal aufgebaut ist, keine Problem.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Wir lösen zum Einen die gemeinsame Arbeit von verschiedenen Standorten aus, da wir Remote arbeiten und zum anderen die teamübergreifende Arbeit. Gerade hier hatten wir ein bisschen Nachholbedarf, wo uns Lucid Toolseitig super unterstützt hat.

What did you like?
Eigentlich nutzen wir Lucidchart wie ein digitales Whiteboard; Damit kann man recht frei alle möglichen Sachen visuell darstellen, zum Beispiel Roadmaps, Steckbriefe für Personas, aber natürlich auch Flowcharts (dafür ist Lucidchart eigentlich da).
What did you not like?
Optisch ist das Tool nicht ganz so ansprechend - da es ja zur Gestaltung von Flowcharts da ist, sind auch die verfügbaren visuellen Elemente entsprechend gestaltet. Das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau, eigentlich kann man mit etwas Kreativität alles mit Lucidchart abbilden.

What did you like?
Lucidchart gibt einem die Möglichkeit verschiedene Vorlagen zu benutzen und diese auf die jeweiligen benötigten Verhalte anzupassen. Die Bedienbarkeit erfolgt dabei einfach und intuitiv. Praktisch ist es auch, dass man ähnlich wie bei Excel neue Blätter anlegen und so die eigenen Diagramm ordnen kann.
What did you not like?
In manchen Fällen gibt es kleinere Bugs innerhalb des Systems, sodass z.B. Pfeile an die falsche Stelle gesetzt werden. Auch ist die Ladezeit teilweise recht lang. Wünschenswert wäre es zusätzlich, wenn es eine größere Schriftauswahl gibt, die ist derzeit sehr begrenzt.

Mit Lucidchart lassen sich komplexe Abläufe einfach abbilden, wie bspw. Verschiedene Arten von Workflows. Auch fördert Lucidchart das kollaborierte Arbeiten, da man mit mehreren Personen gleichzeitig an einer Datei arbeiten kann.

Auch als Anfänger und grafisch unbegabte Person, kann man mit Lucidchart solide Diagramme erstellen. Die Möglichkeiten sind vielfältig, aber nicht überfordernd und insgesamt ist es relativ intuitiv nutzbar.

Insgesamt wirkt das Frontend schon etwas "oldschool" und die Möglichkeiten Diagramme mit anderen zu teilen sind auf den ersten Blick nicht so ersichtlich.

Ich habe Lucidchart benutzt, um verschiedene Prozesse im Bereich Sales abzubilden. Das hat besser funktioniert als mit den Google oder Microsoft Lösungen und insgesamt fand ich den Preis fair.

Tolles webbasiertes Tool mit vielen Features zur Darstellung komplexer Sachverhalte, wie z.B. Geschäftsprozesse, IT-Architekturen, Entscheidungsbäumen. Kompatibel mit Confluence / Jira, das macht das Dokumentieren noch einfacher. Große Auswahl an Darstellungsformen auch abweichend von normierten BPM Darstellungen.
What did you not like?
Manchmal ist die Skalierung auf eine Seite herausfordernd und die Konvertierung in ein PDF ebenso.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Darstellung komplexer Sachverhalte, wo ppt nicht mehr ausreicht. Dokumentieren ganzheitlicher Geschäftsprozesse mit Abbildung vieler Arbeitsschritte über diverse Abteilungen hinaus. Vorteilhaft ist die einfach Nutzung, die Auswahl aus vielen Darstellungsformen und die Kompatibilität mit Visio.
