What is Ghost?

Ghost refers to an app for media creators that is designed to assist them in publishing, sharing, and building a business around their content. In the beginning, it was essentially a pure blogging platform, but today the system has evolved into professional publishing software. Subscription and membership features are integrated as means of monetization. The Ghost Foundation primarily bases the prices for the software on the number of members to be served. It starts at up to 500 members at 9 US dollars per month. For this, customers receive among other things official themes from Ghost, pre-built integrations, a managed installation, updates and backups, an SSL certificate, and email support. Those who need custom themes, their own integrations, priority support and/or more permitted users will have to invest between 25 and 199 US dollars.
