Don’t get stuck in line: Apply for your spot at OMR’s Digital Masterclasses 2021!
While corona’s continued “rona-ing” won’t let us put on the OMR Festival this May (sad), we’re offering the most popular Festival element as a week of digital sessions: The OMR Digital Masterclasses return this May 17th through the 21st, presented by our partners at DELL. It’s an entire week of free insights in over 60 different Digital Masterclasses—all you need is a computer, tablet or phone. Today, we’re showing you how you can apply and what exciting DMCs await you this time around.
To wit: The first thing you need to do to apply and attend is snag a ticket to the Digital Masterclasses—tickets are free, but limited. Step two is where you can then apply to attend the DMCs that most appeal to you. Do keep in mind that you may apply to a total of eight DMCs and a maximum of four per day.
Suffice to say that before applying, you should definitely check out the DMC time table here and make sure that none of your preferred DMCs overlap. DMCs will be held in English and in German, which is indicated by either an English or German flag. Spots are limited per Masterclass to ensure that each attendee has the chance to ask questions and interact with DMC hosts in the dedicated Slack channel. We ask you to bear in mind that there are no guarantees that you will be permitted to attend every class you apply to. The application phase starts today and runs through April 27. On May 3, we will inform applicants by email which Digital Masterclasses they may attend.
Marketing Essentials taught by the pros
Just like in past installments, marketing experts from Dell, Facebook, Deutsche Post and Salesforce be on hand, as are the marketing professionals from medium-sized and younger companies, such as Zenloop, Remazing and Searchmetrics. In each 45-minute DMC, you’ll be presented with the latest practice-relevant insights and marketing strategies. Plus, you’ll have the chance to pose questions to your presenters in the 15-minute Q&A session in a dedicated Slack channel, where you can also chat and engage with other participants.
To make planning easier for you and to prevent any thematic overlaps, this time around we’ve organized DMCs by topic. These include “Inspiring Brands,” “Customer Experience,” “Adtech & Programmatic,” “Marketing Tools,” “Social,” “eCommerce,” “Technology Trends,” “Search & Content” and “CRM.” In the coming days, we’ll present the clusters and classes to you in more detail—but today the name of the game is applying to attend.
