What is Zencastr?

Zencastr allows you to record podcast conversations remotely, with video if needed. This web-based tool is particularly suitable for beginners. The major advantage is that Zencastr records the tracks of each participant locally and then uploads them to Zencastr. This feature allows users to get a smooth audio recording, despite possible internet lags. The basic functions of Zencastr are also free. However, the audio quality is somewhat restricted and the editing options are not included here. For $20/month, the Professional version is available, with which you get 16-bit WAV files (high audio quality) and access to post-production options and transcription.
