First and foremost, the Verbally has a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate. Setting up a meeting and inviting team members is a breeze, the tool allows us to structure our meetings with clear agendas and time limits for each topic, which keeps us focused and on track. It has certainly helped us stay focused and get more done as a team in the same amount of time as before (when doing a meeting). Now that we work mostly remotely we constantly use the tool.

What did you not like?

While Verbally has many great features and has certainly helped improve the productivity and structure of our team meetings, it is not without its limitations. One issue we have encountered is that the assistant can sometimes be slow to load, which can be frustrating when we are trying to quickly and spontaneously organize a meeting. This can be a bit confusing for first time use or may require a bit of a learning curve for new users. This can lead to some initial frustration as team members get used to setting up meetings in advance and inviting Verbally to join.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

The biggest problem that the tool solves is that it removes the lack of organization and structure of meetings. Meetings can often be disorganized and lack a clear agenda, which can make them unproductive and lead to a lack of progress. This is where Verbally excels. My favorite recent feature is that now you can connect your calendar with Verbally, so it automatically joins all your meetings.

Seitdem wir Verbally in unseren Meetings nutzen, sind wir deutlich produktiver und überziehen unsere Meetings nicht mehr. Der große Timer hilft uns, während der Meetings immer ein Auge auf die Zeit zu haben und dank der angezeigten Agenda den Fokus zu behalten und nicht auf andere Themen abzuweichen. Besonders hilfreich ist die Möglichkeit, den Agenda Punkten Zeitblöcke hinzuzufügen. So merken wir bereits während des Meetings, wenn wir bei einem Thema deutlich überziehen und können entsprechend nachjustieren. Und merken nicht erst am Ende merken, dass wir keine Zeit mehr haben...;)

Obwohl es bereits super einfach ist, die Agenda nur in den Termin einzutragen, wäre eine Funktion, um die Agenda aus externen Dokumenten wie Google Docs auszulesen hilfreich.

Oft verlaufen sich Meetings, dadurch dass man vom Thema abdriftet oder man die Zeit aus dem Auge verliert. Wir nutzen Verbally für verschiedene Meetings: 1on1s, Team meetings und All hands. Verbally dient uns in Meetings als neutraler Moderator, der hilft die Struktur des Meetings einzuhalten, sicherzustellen, dass wir in der Zeit bleiben (zB über eine chat message die 5 min vor schluss verschickt wird) und die Diskussionen durch einen Speaker Timer ausgeglichen sind. Durch die Nutzung von Verbally sind unsere Meetings fokussierter und produktiver geworden. Dadurch, dass man vom Tool darauf hingewiesen wird, falls keine Agenda vorhanden ist, hilft es uns auch im Team eine bessere Meetingkultur aufzubauen.

What did you not like?

One limitation that I've found out is that the tool can take up to 5 minutes for the virtual assistant to join the meeting. This is not a major issue as most of the time I always create meetings with at least of a few hours of time in advance, but occassionally when I want to create a quick meeting it takes a few minutes to join. My second point is about the ability to change the agenda during the meeting, right now this is a bit clumsy.

The biggest thing is about managing the agenda of a meeting. On one hand this becomes "hands free" as no one needs to share their screen aways. On anther hand another advantage is the fact that no one has to be the time keeper - the tool does this for you.

Wir nutzen Verbally nun seit ca. einem Jahr bei uns. Verbally lässt sich kinderleicht implementieren, da es sich nahtlos mit Zoom und Google Meet integriert und man es vollautomatisch zu sämtlichen Meetings einladen kann. Wir nutzen es täglich für unsere virtuellen Standups und Huddles - sind seitdem deutlich produktiver geworden. Das GIF zum Start eines jeden Meetings ist dabei ein hervorragender Icebreaker.

Es gibt noch einige Kleinigkeiten, die verbessert werden könnten, um das Tool noch nützlicher zu machen. Im Moment fehlt mir die Option, flexibel zu bleiben, wenn ein Tagesordnungspunkt mehr Zeit in Anspruch nimmt - die Uhr läuft einfach weiter. Außerdem hoffe ich, dass es bald Analysen über den Anteil der Stimmen und mehr geben wird.

Zum anderen hilft uns Verbally sicherzustellen, dass der Redeanteil von Meetingteilnehmern ausgewogen bleibt - grad bei Brainstorming-Sessions ist das sehr wertvoll.

Für uns ist Verbally ideal, um interne Meetings mit vielen Personen zu orchestrieren. Bei 1 on 1 Sales-Gesprächen mit Kunden haben wir dann meist doch eine eigene Präsentation geteilt, anstatt uns über Verbally durch den Termin zu hangeln.

Unsere Meetings sind strukturierter und dadurch effektiver und vor allem zeitlich effizienter, da sich alle kürzer fassen - insbesondere bei Weeklys, wo sonst einige Teilnehmer dazu neigen, ausschweifend Geschichten zu erzählen. Mit dem ablaufenden Timer ist jeder angeregt, seine Zeit nicht zu überziehen, ohne dass einer darauf hinweisen müsste.

Es dauerte nicht mal 1min, bis alles aufgesetzt war und wir Verbally im Team ausprobieren konnten. Verbally integriert sich super in unseren Google Calender. Es macht die Agenda aus der Meetingbeschreibung inkl. Timetracking für die einzelnen Punkte im Meeting sichtbar und sorgt so für wesentlich effizientere Meetings bei uns.

What did you not like?

Bisher habe ich noch nichts entdeckt, was mir nicht gefällt. Wir brauchen Verbally nicht bei allen Meetings, aber das lässt sich auch entsprechend einstellen oder man kann auch Verbally spontan aus dem Meeting werfen, wenn man es nicht braucht. Also alles wirklich ganz easy-to-use.

Agenda von Meetings besser im Blick behalten, Timeboxing in Meetings und somit insgesamt effizientere und zielgerichtetere Meetings. (Und durch die GIFs am Anfang vermutlich sogar ein bisschen mehr Pünktlichkeit der Teilnehmer*innen am Meeting.)

Timing who is speaking, Sharing agenda on screen, Timer helps show how long meeting has been running for etc. It does help ensure meetings are effective and to the point.

What did you not like?

UI design is not the best however it has top notch functionality. It does not read Agenda from google docs either, it only takes agenda points from notes.

Ich muss nichts installieren und brauche meinen worklflow nicht zu ändern. Verbally ist sehr leicht in meinen workflow integriert (Assistant per Emailadresse einladen). Meeting Agenda wird direkt aus meinem invite ausgelesen und dann im Meeting angezeigt > weniger Überziehung. Der speaker timer macht Diskussionen ebenfalls ausgeglichener in Redeanteilen

What did you like?

First up, the sign-up process was very quick and easy. I enter my email address and then simply invite the assistant to my meetings in my usual google calendar. That was almost too easy! Verbally joins before the meeting starts (so no interruptions once it's started) and keeps me and my team on track with the meeting timer and speaking timer heads-up. It also helps to encourage my team to include an agenda in our regular status meetings to know what's to be discussed and to try to make it through all those topics on time.

What did you not like?

An extension would be nice to edit the agenda on the go a bit more smoother than in the google calendar itself. Also we used the timed agenda but sometimes we are faster than the allocated time and it's not possible to simply click once to proceed. But overall very good and useful for a free tool!

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We normally ran over time in our status update meetings or they were just running off-topic quite often. Verbally helps to keep us just that extra bit more focused and prepared beforehand. I found it very useful for working with externals or people outside of my team too, showing a clear agenda of who would go first for intro's and what topics we had in mind gave everyone that extra bit of reassurance that comes with being organised. As with any large organisation we also had some people speaking for the majority of meetings without paying attention to what others wanted to say and with the speaking timer alerts it helped to bring some added awareness to that without anyone else having to step in.

Das Tool ist noch relativ neu, damit erfüllt es den Zweck Meetings effizienter zu machen für uns derzeit. Schön wären noch mehr Funktionen die es erlauben die Meetings noch besser auszuwerten. Das ist aber nach Aussage der Gründer auf der Roadmalp. Derzeit ist es ein reines add-on für Google Meet Meetings. Es wird aber stetig verbessert.

Wir sehen Verbally als hilfreichen digitalen Timekeeper der unsere Meetings besser macht. Wir nutzen es gerne für Team meetings, da es hilft in der Agenda zu bleiben. Was waren vorher die Problem: Bei uns war das Problem in Meetings dass man schnell von der eigentlichen Agenda abkommt oder erst am Ende des Meetings merkt, dass die Hälfte der Agenda Punkte nicht besprochen wurden. Immer eine separate Agenda zu bauen in Powerpoint oder in den termin reinzuklicken ist aber nicht gerade intuitiv. Genau hier hilft Verbally super! In wiederkehrenden Meetings wird man immer wieder zur Agenda zurückgebracht. Verbally zeiht sich die Agenda und die Zeiten einfach aus dem Text des Termins. Inkludiert man eine Zeitangabe pro Punkt, gibt es auch einen Counter im Termin dafür. Ausserdem wird auch 5 Minuten vor Schluss aktiv darauf hingewiesen dass das Meeting bald vorbei ist. Außerdem hilft es sehr sich selbst zu reflektieren falls ein Teilnehmer mehr als 2min spricht.

Das Tool ist einsatzbereit in unter einer Minute und steht sofort mit Agenda und Timer bereit, ich nutze es mit Meet und Teams. Die Timerfunctin hilft in verschiedenen Meetingformaten: Standups aber auch Update-Meetings und strukturloseren Formaten. Die Einfachheit ueberzeugt total: Was im Kalendereintrag enthalten ist, wird sauerb formatiert und dierekt in den Meetings angezeigt, Zeiten, Themen, Sprecher...

Wuenschaenswert waere eine Funktion, die auch externe Agenden aus einem Google.doc z.B. integrieren wuerde. Gerade bei bestehenden Meetings oder aelteren Prozessen gibt es teilweise eine Agenda. um den Prozess nicht aendern zu muessen (obwohl das auch wenige Minuten dauern wuerde) waere ein Importfunktion sinnvoll.

Mind. einer spricht immer zu lange in Meetings. Die Dauer der Beitraege werden besser gesteuert. Agenda, Zusammenfassung, Actionpoints - Alles bekommt eine klare, transparente Struktur. Teammitglieder haben absolute transparenz. Meetings koennen auch geleitet werden von Personen, die nicht jedes Mal der Moderator sind. Viel mehr Flexibilitaet, Proaktivitaet in den Teams.
