What did you like?

Awesome tool! When we hired our current AEO agency, we asked them to configure a visibility analysis automation tool for us we could use regularly to check how we were doing. And Rankscale fit smoothly in our ecosystem. The MCP works awesome, we are using Rankscale with Claude and it is perfect.

What did you not like?

Have to denylist some competitors that get counted and we don't want to be compared against them. (But from another POV, this is actually a nice feature too!)

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We were able to monitor what AI models are saying about us and our comps. Helps us plan our content marketing campaigns better.

What did you like?

Rankscale provides great flexibility and access to variety of models, which can be of great value, especially for larger marketing teams or agencies. You can pick and choose, run test, whatever serves your strategic approach. It's a great way to support your reporting efforts and explore how you can position your business better in AI search.

What did you not like?

Removal of lower subscription tier, it was very useful for smaller companies or teams who wanted to run tests before committing to long-term partnership/larger scale projects.

What did you like?

In meinem Team nutzen wir Rankscale aktuell vor allem für die Auswertung der Sentiments. Das ist super praktisch, weil wir dort nicht nur unsere eigene Wahrnehmung im Netz tracken können - sondern auch die der Mitbewerber. Beide Wege eröffnen uns ganz neue Möglichkeiten und Einblicke, die vorher in diesem Umfang gar nicht möglich waren. Und selbst in einem viel kleineren Umfang war das vorher nur mit einem riesigen und mühsamen manuellen Aufwand für uns verbunden.

What did you not like?

Der kleine Haken ist natürlich, dass nur die Analysen nur auf den Prompts erfolgt, die wir vorher selbst definiert und hinterlegt haben. Aber da wir uns aktuell noch auf ein paar wenige Produkte fokussieren und auch Wettbewerber von Rankscale ähnlich agieren, ist das alles aktuell kein großes Problem für uns. Es sollte aber unbedingt bedacht und berücksichtigt werden für die eigenen Analysen.

Wir mussten vor Rankscale in unserem Team immer sehr mühsam und manuell und mit sehr großem Aufwand nach der aktuellen Stimmung im Netz zu uns als Marke, zu unserem Produkt aber auch zum Wettbewerb suchen. Mit der Sentiment-Analyse von Rankscale ist das alles ohne großen Aufwand (nach einem einmaligen Setup) per Knopfdruck für uns und auch für Wettbewerber möglich. Wir können sogar runterbrechen auf einzelne Prompt-Kategorien bzw. sogar einzelne Prompts. Das ist ein riesiger Mehrwert für uns!

What did you like?

I get a surprisingly high level of details for my search queries. My classical SEO tool just delivered a very basic set of information. And I really like the new customizable Dashboard (currently in beta).

What did you not like?

Sometimes the level of details is so high that it's difficult to wrap my head around all the information I get. What I really miss is a proper reporting functionality that I can use for my customers. Right now it is mostly a manual process.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

With the rise of AI search, I clearly had a blind spot when it comes to visibility of my clients before using Rankscale. And just the fact that I can tell my customers where they are standing in terms of AI visibility is a sales asset for me.

What did you like?

- Model Coverage: One of the few tools that can track more than 10 different LLMs or models. - Flexible Tracking: Tracking is flexible at the keyword or prompt level — no need to use the same prompts across all models. Google AIOs can be queried with classic short SEO keywords, while ChatGPT gets longer, conversational prompts. - Credit-Based Billing: Especially relevant for agencies: billing runs on credits that can be distributed freely across multiple brands or domains.

What did you not like?

Reporting is solid at the KPI level but still has limitations for client reporting. While the KPI dashboard works well for general reporting, (at least our) clients typically want to know which specific queries trigger answers with brand mention or domain citation. That detail is available when drilling down, but I found no way so far to export it as a clean overview list.

What did you like?

Rankscale is probably the most easy-to-understand tool for tracking AI mentions and brand visibility in top models. The options make sense, and the support team is awesome. The Slack community is very active in helping out with any issues. Probably most cost-efficient tool we've used for brand tracking too. Love Rankscale.

What did you not like?

Nothing as of now. The support is good so whatever problems we have faced, it was sorted out. So there's nothing to dislike for now.

Rankscale helps us get exact data from AI models about how our clients' brands are being shown and what positions they are getting in AI answers. That is basically the primary thing we use Rankscale for, getting data on how AI perceives our clients.

What did you like?

What I like best is the clean and intuitive interface combined with the depth of insights the tool provides. It makes complex AI search visibility data easy to understand while still offering very detailed analysis when needed. I also really like that the platform evolves quickly. It feels like there are constant updates and improvements to keep up with the fast-changing world of AI search and GEO.

What did you not like?

One thing that could still be improved is the sentiment analysis. In some cases (especially with negative sentiment) the interpretation doesn’t always feel 100% accurate. Apart from that, I’m very happy with the tool.

With Rankscale.ai, I can track my clients’ visibility in AI search engines over a longer period of time and get concrete recommendations on how to improve it. One of the biggest benefits for me is the competitive analysis, which helps uncover hidden opportunities and identify where competitors are outperforming us. What did you like?

I like how many LLMs you can track your prompts against. I also like how you can audit individual pages on how readable they are for LLMs. Most of the reports are very well organized, and we regularly use the data for client audits and reports.

What did you not like?

It would be good if you could audit an entire website for AI readiness, rather than individual pages. Also, when it comes to citations, I prefer Peec.ai, because they have more detailed and better organized info, especially on individual Reddit threads. We also experience some difficulties when integrating the tool with Google Data Studio.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Our team does AI Search Audits for clients, and a very important part of that is tracking how well the client's website performs for their target prompts.

What did you not like?

The AI field and metrics on AI visibility are constantly changing, so it is hard to have general metrics and workflows - but the tool stays very dynamic and up to date with current trends.

What did you like?

There are a lot of tools for analyzing different issues that I think no other GEO platform is offering at such a great price. Once you find out how the various tools work, you're able to get all kinds of actionable insights for your brand and website.

What did you not like?

It is quite the learning curve to figure out how to work it. I'm coming at it from the perspective of a digital marketer who's not well-versed in more backend and technical things, and it is a bit hard to find what I want or know what I'm looking at. It would be nice if there was a FAQ or more of a guide provided, because all I could find was one YouTube playlist with a few short videos from the company. That said, those videos were helpful, but they were outdated in some ways.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

I'm still new but the main problems are figuring out if our clients' brands are appearing when people are using AI to research information. For example, we want to know if when they ask a question related to an issue that our clients talk about, the client appears in AI's response and as a credible source. The main advantages I see to using it are discovering how AI perceives the client's brand — is it authoritative and credible, or is it seemed as biased and partisan?

What did you like?

Prompt decoding works really well in my opinion. You can see exactly which prompts trigger mentions of your clients' brands and how they rank compared to competitors. As I work in an agency, I manage multiple clients, and the ability to track prompts across several LLMs from one dashboard saves me a lot of time. I don't have to check each AI search engine manually for every client. The page audit feature is also great because it gives you a quick and solid overview of what you can (or should) change on a page to improve AI visibility. The introduction video was lovely and helped me understand the core features quickly. I also appreciate how actionable the insights are -> you don't just see data, you understand what to optimize on your clients' websites

What did you not like?

For me personally, RankScale was a bit confusing at the beginning. The interface has many features and it took some time to understand what each metric means and how to interpret the data correctly. When managing multiple client accounts, this learning curve adds up. I also spent way too many credits daily in the first week because I didn't fully understand the credit system, which is especially painful when you're tracking several brands at once. They've made it better since then, but the onboarding and documentation could still be clearer for new users. A guided setup or tooltips explaining key metrics would help agencies like us get started faster.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

I use it to track several prompts for my clients across different AI search engines. Before RankScale, I had no real way of knowing if and where my clients' brands were being mentioned in AI generated answers. Sure, I could have tried "all" the prompts by myself, but this would have been time consuming, and at the end of the day, very expensive. Prompt research gives me brilliant insights too. There were several prompts, which would help one of my clients, which I never really thought of. Last, but not least, Page Audit -> insights like "AI-powered suggestions to enhance your content" are precious! I tried those on my personal project and it seemed to work fine. All in all, Rankscale is a timesaver!

What did you like?

The detailed settings and analysis options, the extensive selection of different AI search systems and chatbots that can be tracked, as well as unique features such as Prompt Research or Rankscale Scout.

What did you not like?

Since the tool has only been available for a short time and was developed from scratch, the user interface is not yet as intuitive and self-explanatory as those of the major tool providers. However, I am sure that they are already working hard on this.

Automatically monitoring the performance of prompts across multiple AI platforms. This has helped me and my clients understand that the number of brand mentions, citations, and “rankings” can fluctuate significantly, especially when tracking prompts on a daily basis.

What did you like?

Bei RankScale ist man nahe am Kunden und vor allem an dessen Bedürfnissen. So wird das Tool, was auch jetzt schon wirklich sehr gut ist, noch besser!

What did you not like?

Das Credit-System ist ja schon bekannt aber man kommt hier schnell an Grenzen, gerade wenn man viele Projekte und Marken mit aufnimmt. Hier wird aber derzeit dran gearbeitet, dass die Anfragen weniger Credits verbrauchen. Auch hier wird im Sinne des Kunden agiert!

Ich kann mit RankScale tracken wie meine Brand und die Brands meiner Kunden derzeit in LLMs abschneiden. Das ist wichtig um zu wissen, wo es noch Verbesserungsbedarf gibt. Ich habe über RankScale auch schon Plattformen gefunden, auf denen wir Profile haben, die ich noch gar nicht kannte. Wer also in LLMs und deren Trainingsdaten reingucken will, ist mit RankScale optimal aufgestellt.

The multiple AI model makes every daily task run extra smoothly. Everything in the online space can be found and monitored easily and I get quick assistance from the platform. So far, it has been everything I was hoping for and has fully met my expectations in both performance and ease of use.

As far as 1 to 2 hours, you can go from zero knowledge to creating your own wireframe all from scratch. The tool also gives majority of the features, charts and clear analytics.

What did you not like?

Limited customization options, less integration with other tools but great for wonderful experience.

What did you not like?

Am Anfang etwas Reizüberflutung. Man bekommt viele Daten und braucht etwas Zeit, um die richtigen Schlüsse zu ziehen. Tipp mit einem internen KI-Content-Check-in pro Woche starten! Keine direkte Text-Optimierung in der Plattform, das wäre eine schöne Ergänzung, direkt aus dem Report heraus Textvorschläge bekommen (vielleicht kommt das ja bald noch).

Besonders spannend die Sentiment Heatmap. Wir sehen, wie freundlich oder neutral wir dargestellt werden. Teilweise erschreckend ehrlich, aber genau das bringt uns weiter. Rankscale simuliert LLMs und sagt uns, wie maschinenverständlich unsere Seiten sind. Wir haben damit unsere Produktseiten zu Baufinanzierung, Girokonten und Nachhaltigkeit komplett umgebaut mehr Klartext, weniger Bullshit-Bingo. Resultat ist unsere Inhalte sind jetzt nicht nur schöner für Menschen, sondern auch für ChatGPT & Co lesbarer.

What did you like?

Wir legen für jede Kampagne oder Artist-Strategie eigene Keyword-Gruppen an. Die UI ist clean, man kommt schnell rein. Das Tool sagt dir nicht nur Du bist nicht sichtbar, sondern warum und was du tun kannst. Man merkt die Leute hinter Rankscale haben sich Gedanken gemacht. Kein Click-Wahnsinn, keine überladenen Dashboards. Wir tracken regelmäßig, wie gut unsere Artists im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Acts performen und nutzen das intern als Signal, um PR & Content Maßnahmen besser zu steuern.

What did you not like?

Aktuell arbeiten wir mit einem zentralen Account, was bei mehreren Kampagnen etwas messy wird. Ein feineres Rechtemanagement wär Bombe. Die Daten-Updates sind aktuell noch batch-basiert. Wenn man schnelle Kampagnen fährt (z.B. TikTok-Viralität), muss man mit Time-Delays leben. Wäre cool, wenn’s irgendwann daily crawls gäbe. Für kleinere Indie-Labels wäre der Einstiegspreis vielleicht zu happig. Für uns lohnt's sich, aber ein kleineres Paket für Newcomer wär nice.

Bei uns dreht sich alles um digitale Sichtbarkeit für unsere Artists & Labels. Klar, Spotify und TikTok kennen alle, aber was ist mit ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity oder Claude. Genau da setzt Rankscale an. Wir verwenden das Tool, um wöchentlich zu tracken, wie unsere Künstler, Releases oder Submarken (z.B. Groove Attack oder Naïve) in KI-Antworten auftauchen. Das Tool crawlt die gängigen AI-Suchsysteme und zeigt, wo unsere Begriffe auftauchen oder eben nicht. Und es zeigt wer genannt wird. Also ob z.B. unser Artist in ChatGPTs Antwort zur besten deutschen Female-Rapperin vorkommt oder ob da jemand anders den Slot besetzt.

What did you like?

It makes it possible for us to see when, where and how AI tools mention our brand, even without links to our website. This makes it easy to identify AI visibility gaps and take action to close them.

What did you not like?

Implementation was definitely not a walk in the park. It took a while until we had everything customized to our needs. The app works well in most cases.
