What did you like?
Ich nutze Notepad++ seit vielen Jahren sowohl privat als auch im beruflichen Umfeld. Mir gefällt besonders wie intuitiv aber doch umfangreich der Funktionsumfang ist. Mir gefällt sehr gut, dass Notepad++ durch Plugins in der Liste der Funktionen erweiterbar ist.
What did you not like?
Leider gibt es keine Version für Linux, das ist aber auch schon so ziemlich das einzige, was mir nicht gefällt.

Notepad++ ist meine go to Software wenn ich Textdateien betrachten und/oder bearbeite. Sei es plain Text, CSV oder json

What did you like?
Mir gefällt die Vielseitigkeit am besten die Anzahl an Programmiersprachen und die umfangreichen Anpassungsmöglichkeiten. Ich finde die Funktion zum Vergleichen von Dateien sehr hilfreich, die mir bei der Fehlersuche hilft. Außerdem ist es opensource und wird regelmäßig aktualisiert.
What did you not like?
Manchmal finde ich die Benutzeroberfläche von Notepad++ etwas überladen, besonders wenn man viele Plugins installiert hat. Die Autovervollständigung könnte für manche Sprachen etwas intuitiver und leistungsfähiger sein.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Ich nutze es beim Coden und Textbearbeiten, die Syntaxhervorhebung ist sehr praktisch und unterstützt bei der Fehlersuche. Ein großer Vorteil ist die Möglichkeit, mehrere Dateien gleichzeitig in Tabs zu öffnen und zu bearbeiten, was den Workflow deutlich beschleunigt. Durch Makros und Plugins kann ich zudem repetitive Aufgaben automatisieren.

Mit Add ons super Tool für die Prozessanalyse
What did you like?
Notepad++ hilft mir sehr dabei JSON Formate zu strukturieren und gegebenenfalls anzupassen. Über die JSON View lassen sich die Codes sehr einfach auseinanderklappen und zusammenfassen.
What did you not like?
Ohne das Add On „JSON Tools“ gibt es keine Funktion die JSON Formate zu analysieren. Es braucht daher das hinzufügen dieses Add-ons, was in einem größeren Unternehmen nur mit erweiterten Rechten möglich ist.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Mit Notepad++ lassen sich Request Bodys und Response Bodys von Schnittstellen einfach und schnell analysieren um aufkommende Fehler schnell zu beheben. Zudem lassen sich die Ergebnisse schnell und einfach speichern, um es an weitere KollegInnen weiter zu senden.
