Managed File Transfer (MFT)

What did you like?

I’ve been using MetaDefender MFT for a while now, and it delivers exactly what a secure file transfer solution should. The multi-engine scanning ensures each file is thoroughly checked before entering the sensitive network — giving me strong confidence in its protection. The performance is solid; large file batches don’t slow things down. The interface is clean and intuitive, and integration with existing OPSWAT components (Core, Kiosk etc.) was smooth in my deployment. Minor enhancements could be made in reporting granularity, but overall a very dependable solution for high-security environments.

What did you not like?

Only one specific feature was initially unavailable, but OPSWAT’s team was very responsive — they listened to our feedback and provided practical workarounds and roadmap updates promptly.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Multi-engine protection ensures maximum threat detection — no longer limited by the weaknesses of a single antivirus engine. Automated file scanning eliminates the need for manual “sheep dip” processes. Faster file validation — what once took days now completes in minutes or hours. • Smooth handling of large and multiple files improves workflow efficiency. • Built-in auditing and traceability provide full visibility and compliance.
