Hygraph impresses with a powerful GraphQL API, high flexibility in content modeling, and outstanding customer service. Users appreciate the overall usability, which enables easy setup. However, Hygraph comes with some drawbacks, including an inflexible pricing structure with hidden fees and a steep learning curve for less technical users. Additionally, the user interface can become clunky with complex, nested structures, and performance issues occur with elaborate queries. The reliability during simultaneous editing by multiple people also needs improvement.

Durchdachtes CMS mit gutem Support!
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Guter GraphQL Service
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Truly headless GraphQL CMS
What did you like?
You can do everything via the GraphQL API: query the model metadata and manage the content. Like this, we can automate complex tasks that would need multiple steps in the app. Overall, the app is easy to use.
What did you not like?
Complex queries can have performance issues. We use Components extensively, and we had to split certain queries and recombine the data on the client afterward, which doesn't feel like the idea of GraphQL.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
We use Hygraph for web content publishing and the delivery of public assets. The headless approach brings a clear separation between data management and presentation. Furthermore, GraphQL lets us query the exact data we need.

Next level headless content management with ease
What did you like?
Hygraph has been integral to our digital transformation and significantly changed the way we work for the better. The ability to create models and link together remote API's into one query has made development so much easier. This alongside their performant endpoints make for a great developer and stakeholder experience. The ease of use within their UI has also made it easy to get set up and train the team to get up and running in a very short amount of time. Finally, Hygraph have a very helpful support team, actively listening to their users for feedback on their product and will look to incorporate suggestions.
What did you not like?
There are a lot hidden fees tied into their plans which aren't immediately obvious. They did try to mitigate this by creating an updated version of their pricing tier, however, that made what could have been an affordable product for a small business, impossible to justify. Hygraph also has very odd limitations around its plans too, for example, limiting the number of permissions on roles when you can only allow access instead of allowing or denying access.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Repeatability, content siloing and scalability. By having one central place to manage content within the business, it's allowed us to update once and update everywhere. We used to have to update around 7 places before we integrated Hygraph which took quite some time across a broad portfolio of products each season.

Use of Hygraph in an In-store app
What did you like?
The ease of use and adaptation of the solution. Hygraph serves as the headless CMS powering our PWA web application, live across 30+ countries. The platform manages all content,
application configuration, product catalogs, and feature flags for the entire ecosystem.
What did you not like?
It would be nice to have a more granular distinction of what the editors can and can't access and edit.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
We are using it for an in-store web app in 30 markets. The majority of content, business rules, local configurations, product related algoritms and other non-content related data.

Great tool for the right use case
What did you like?
It's easy to setup since its SaaS-first approach. Creating schemas is very intuitive and managing content is a breeze for not so complex projects
What did you not like?
API limiting, Hygraph Studio reliability when working with many editors in the system.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Perfect backend for simpler next.js apps

Hygraph allows us to deploy a global project in several languages with constant interaction.
What did you like?
Hygraph is very complete and adaptable to our needs, stable and constantly integrating new features. We were looking for a Headless CMS and even if we are still not using all the possibilities that Hygraph has to offer, we are satisfied with the system.
What did you not like?
The learning curve until we had a good understanding of the tool and were able to make the most out of it. It is still a bit unflexible when it comes to uploading pictures in some text parts, but we always find the way to display what we want.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Complex website with lots of content in different languages and with different call to actions. Hygraph allows to deliver this global/local approach that we were looking for.

Hygraph helped us building a Multi Tenant E-commerce platform.
What did you like?
- The customer support hygraph offers is outstanding they think along with their customers and try to tailor the platform to their wishes. - They are pretty quick on building new features and improving the platform constantly. -The model/component setup is flexible and intuitive and perfect for an headless ecosystem.
What did you not like?
- Hygraph only provides graphql support no REST endpoints, which is fine for our use case, but it can be a limiting factor - UI can be clunky when making complex nested component structures.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
We build a multi tenant e-commerce platform with Hygraph as our headless CMS. We found in Hygraph a flexible partner where we could scale our extensive product models/category/landing pages with rich content on top of Commercetools as our headless commerce provider. Hygraph offered us flexibility in content modeling with relative good performance and pricing. It helped us to iterate and move quickly to a widely used platform with multipe storefronts.

The CMS that finally scales with your content architecture
What did you like?
Content Federation - Hygraph's Content Federation allows you to unify data from multiple external sources directly into the content graph without duplicating or migrating data. It reduces architectural complexity and keeps everything clean under a single API layer.
What did you not like?
No schema migration UI tool - Hygraph currently lacks a built-in UI tool for managing schema migrations.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Hygraph allows us to manage content for multiple brands and domains from a single, unified CMS instance. Instead of maintaining separate systems per brand, we model content once and reuse it across properties — significantly reducing maintenance overhead and keeping the architecture consistent. The benefit is a leaner, more scalable setup where content teams and developers work from the same source of truth

Starkes Headless CMS mit hilfsbereitem Team!
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Starke Funktionen & Hochbewertetes CMS
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Hygraph makes things easy!
What did you like?
Hygraph is just easy. It offers a fully customizable setup that makes content management incredibly efficient and product specific. Both our content management team and our development team benefit from the easy usability. Hygraph’s scalability and modular architecture make it ideal for building dynamic digital experiences across multiple platforms.
What did you not like?
Pricing structure is inflexible. There is no opportunity to pay for requirements on a per-use basis without going to a larger payment plan.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
We integrated Hygraph as we were looking for a headless CMS that could provide us full customizability and allow us to make solutions that fit every aspect of our platform, whether that being translations, custom content blocks or database integration.

Flexibles und leistungsstarkes Headless CMS
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

Maximal flexibles CMS!
What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?

What did you like?
What did you not like?
Which problems are you solving with the product?
