What did you like?

Am besten gefällt mir an FortiGate die Kombination aus starker Sicherheitsleistung und zentraler Verwaltung. Besonders die einfache Integration verschiedener Funktionen wie Firewall, VPN, IPS, Webfilter und Antivirus in einem Gerät überzeugt. Zudem ist die FortiGate GUI übersichtlich, und mit FortiManager bzw. FortiCloud lassen sich auch komplexere Netzwerke effizient steuern – ideal für Mandantenumgebungen oder mehrere Standorte.

What did you not like?

Ehrlich gesagt – bisher nichts. Ich bin rundum begeistert: Die FortiGate läuft stabil, lässt sich intuitiv konfigurieren, und die Sicherheitsfunktionen greifen zuverlässig. Für unseren Anwendungsfall passt das Gesamtpaket einfach perfekt.

Mit FortiGate NGFW löse ich das Problem, Netzwerke ganzheitlich, zuverlässig und zentral gegen moderne Bedrohungen abzusichern, ohne dafür auf viele separate Lösungen angewiesen zu sein. Sie ermöglicht eine klare Trennung sensibler Systeme, etwa zwischen Praxisnetz, Verwaltung, Gäste-WLAN oder Mandanten.
