What did you like?

The tool includes all relevant data and makes it accessible to the relevant stakeholders: approved budget, planned positions, actuals and delta. The log of all changes is amazing and ensures transparent planning, solving a big problem we had.

What did you not like?

The tool is currently a little slow and the charts on the landing page a bit confusing if you have different budgets for different entities. Besides that I really like it.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We had difficulties providing accurate numbers to our Finance Team as there is a lot of movement in our company. Also, we lacked transparency why changes were made and so on. Now we have much more clarity where we stand with our budget, what changed in the planned position and the reasons behind it - all that with only a few clicks.

The tool currently could be improved in a few areas: - Filtering sometimes gets stuck with longer usage time that may require a full refresh of the page. - When changing dimensions, filters get lost which requires you to repeat the entire filter. - processing of input can sometimes require a refresh as it is not visible immediately. - overall performance has been constantly improving, however, sometimes could still be slow From a usability perspective: - Planning versions could have a summary view like the live forecast that would make it easier to group and visualize for leaders owning several teams in different entities

What did you like?

How it allows to simplify an objectively burdensome topic. The CFO and the Talent acquisition manager were using two separate Excel sheets prior to Cartha and it was neither reliable nor effective. Cartha makes it straightforward and exhaustive to see the current and projected impact of headcount and segregate the costs in a way that turns a lot of data into useful KPIs

I simply hope that Cartha grows to offer secondary functionalities that other platforms offer so that we can rely for more on it and avoid having to use it together with another solution in order to fully solve the people's part of the company

Management of current employees cost per team (monitoring) and planning for hiring. Before using Cartha, as I described before, there were silos. The Talent acquisiotn maager and the CFO were using separate excel sheets to square the budgeted figure for hiring and the hiring plan for the year per team and position. It was messy, unreliable and time consuming. With Cartha, we have a phenomenal display of all this information, automatic calculations to plan and estimate for changes and the ability to involve all the managerial team of the company in the hiring of their team members with assurance that they follow corporate policy.

Basqo bringt alle relevanten Stakeholder im Headcountplanning Prozess zusammen (Hiring Manager, Talent Acquisition und Finance), sorgt für Transparenz und erhöht die Effizienz in der Planung enorm. Änderungen (Level, Starttag, etc) werden dokumentiert, alle Integrationen (HRIS & ATS) waren, dank der Unterstützung der Founder, problemlos möglich.

Kein relevanter Punkt kommt mir in den Sinn, eventuelle Unzulänglichkeiten wurden vom Team zeitnah korrigiert, bzw. durch neue Features abgedeckt. Es braucht eine Weile sich in die Prozesse (bzw. Möglichkeiten der Planung) einzuarbeiten, aber ist es erst einmal aufgesetzt, funktioniert es tadellos.

The user interface is a bit slow, the page does not refresh if you deselect a filter or shows zero results. The exports and views cannot be customized. Complicated actions run for minutes in the background, but there are no notifications or status of whether they completed.

Basqo solves the challenge of a personnel plan that is out-of-date by the time it‘s finished, does not match actuals and does not align with actual hiring. It also enables not only budgeting, but also actuals updates and mid-year forecasting

What did you like?

Mit Cartha bekommen wir Personaldaten endlich mal sauber und ständig aktualisiert zusammen. Die zu Grunde liegende Datenhygiene muss natürlich stimmen, aber dann ist es einfach super easy möglich auf Company- und Teamebene saubere Personal-Forecast zu erheben und zu kontrollieren. Für den Budget-Prozess kann ebenfalls die Planung per Cartha delegiert und später wieder zusammengeführt werden. Das war vorher jedes Jahr ein großer Pain. Entwicklungen sind derzeit noch rasant - und ich freue mich auf alles was noch kommt!

What did you not like?

Gelegentlich kommt es zu Performance-Problemen, was wenig verwunderlich ist, wenn man ein relativ neues Produkt baut und sich gleichzeitig einem ständig wachsenden Kundenstamm gegenüber sieht, der nicht nur in Anzahl, sondern auch in Unternehmensgröße zu wachsen scheint.

Hirings lassen sich super planen, wärend zukünftige Änderungen für existierende Mitarbeitende, die aufgrund ausstehender Kommunikation noch nicht im HRIS eingetragen sind, wie z.B. betriebsbedingte Kündigungen, Abteilungswechsel oder Gehaltsanpassungen, nicht im Position breakdown erfasst werden können.

What did you like?

Cartha completely changes the way personell planning is done. Before Cartha, using shared, password protected Excel sheets was the norm - with all the operational pain and manual effort this includes! Implementing Cartha will completely remove this pain and give you are clearly structured, easy to use application, that will make the lives of both finance as well as HR departments so much better! My favorite use case is that you can not only do the "standard" planning and forecasting but finally have a collaborative tool for every lead where they can also create and calculate different scenarios. By integrating with the HR tech stack commonly used it's the perfect tool for personell planning and controlling.

What did you not like?

I really don't dislike anything specifically. Whenever issues comes up it's easy to reach the team and get it solved right away.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Replacing hard to update shared Excel sheets for personell planning with easy to use collaborative dashboards. Simulating different growth scenarios. Cost forecasting together with HR and finance.

Für uns als Konglomerat ist Cartha ein echter Gamechanger. Endlich haben wir eine zentrale Lösung, um die Planung zwischen HR, Finance und Fachabteilung problemlos zu koordinieren und genaue Zahlen zu reporten. Das Beste: Wir müssen keine fehleranfälligen Excel-Sheets mehr pflegen, und alle Kostenprognosen sind immer aktuell.

Es gibt kaum etwas auszusetzen. Die Plattform entwickelt sich extrem schnell weiter. Anfangs waren die Exporte noch verbesserungsfähig, aber mittlerweile sind sie super granular und lassen sich perfekt in unsere weiteren Reportings integrieren.

Cartha ist sehr einfach zu bedienen (läuft nahtlos in der Cloud). Wir können einfach unsere Personalkostendaten hochladen und Cartha berechnet dann automatisch einen Forecast basierend auf den Eingaben. Die Verknüpfung mit unseren Datenquellen (aktuell noch als Export) funktioniert sehr gut anhand der Personalnummer bzw. für neue Stellen anhand der Stellennummer.

Cartha ist rasend schnell bei ihren Software-Updates und dann erhält man öfter mal einen Hinweis "Sie müssen diese Seite jetzt neuladen um weiterzuarbeiten", weil irgendwo wieder ein neues Feature released wurde. Wahnsinn, was für ein Tempo sie an den Tag legen!

Wir können jederzeit mit Cartha unsere Personalkosten forecasten, basierend auf den echten Kosten aus der Payroll als auch den Planstellen. Dabei macht es Cartha besonders einfach, die Nebenkosten (Sozialversicherung) zu berechnen. Diese muss man nicht mehr aufwändig manuell berechnen bzw. schätzen. Bei einem sehr personalintensiven Geschäftsmodell macht das einen großen Unterschied!

What did you like?

It's a very simple tool that does what it needs to do. Love the fact that we are able to create different scenario's, budget's etc. On top of that, the platform is constantly developing and the customer support is very on point.

What did you not like?

Nothing to not like, just features/details that will need to be implemented as the platform matures.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Dynamic, up to date dashboards replace our spreadsheet chaos. Allowing us to accurately and efficiently compare salary cost forecast vs budget. It also allows us to keep our headcount plan under control.

Cartha bietet eine übersichtliche Ansicht über die Personalkosten und die FTE-Entwicklung bis ins kleinste Detail, wodurch man immer schnell einen Überblick bekommt und aussagefähig ist.

Am Anfang gab es Herausforderungen bzgl. der Ladezeiten, welche aber vom Team Cartha behoben wurde. Ansonsten ist das Team bei Problemen schnell erreichbar und kümmern sich direkt.

Dank Cartha können wir eine genau Personalplanung durchführen ohne unzählige Excel-Listen pflegen zu müssen. Dies erleichtert die Personalarbeit ungemein.

Effiziente Planung, dauerhaftes Controlling der Personalkosten und ein Top-Team im Hintergrund, das bei Fragen und Wünschen sofort reagiert! Hat mein Leben als HR-Verantwortlicher echt leichter gemacht.

Eigentlich nur, dass bestimmte Uploads nicht selbst gemacht werden können. Allerdings reagiert das Team so schnell, dass es dadurch nicht wirklich einen Zeitverlust gibt.

Endlich keine Aussagen wie "Die Gehaltserhöhung hatte ich aber geplant - das ist nicht die letzte Version der Exceldatei!" von Abteilungsleitern mehr. One source - one truth! Die Personalkostenplanung mit 13 (!) Beteiligten lief noch nie so smooth wie jetzt mit Cartha.

What did you like?

Super easy to use - never got so much clarity while doing personnel cost planing. And amazing customer support service as we could contact the team for individual solutions.

What did you not like?

The platform is great - nothing that I disliked. Only problem for us was the we operate in different countries so at the beginning we faced some challenges.

What did you like?

As an interface to Personio, Cartha automatically pulls current personnel data and generates real-time forecasts and planning scenarios. This allows us to explore different scenarios, allocate resources optimally, and analyze the impact of specific decisions on our team and budget.

What did you not like?

I look forward to the future automation of the salary data upload in Cartha. Until then, I appreciate the support from the Cartha team, who assist with the upload each month. This would certainly be an upgrade for both sides.

What did you like?

Wenn man mehr als 4-5 monatliche Hires hat ein absoluter No-brainer. Endlich kann ich companywide, vor allem mit Finance und den Department heads, den Status unseres Recruitments tracken. Wer wurde gesinged, wann fangen die neuen Kollegen an, was kostet das alles. Vor Cartha wurde immer mit Excel und ATS-Exports gearbeitet, und ich musste wöchentlich das Leadership Team updaten wo wir stehen.

What did you not like?

Hier und da könnten die Oberflächen etwas besser sein, und ein noch detailierteres Rechtemangement (ist wohl in der Entwicklung gerade).

Erleichtertes Stakeholder-mangement mit unterschiedlichen Bedürfnisse (Finance / Abteilungen (wann kommen die neuen Kollegen). Gute Übersicht über Recuritmentperformance. Sehr schönes headcount und Kostenmanagement über zukünftige Hires.
