ProductsUp kann mehrere Millionen Produkte verarbeiten und mit zahlreichen Regeln modifizieren. Die Feederstellung und das Management für Marketingkanäle wie Facebook/Meta, GDN, Google Shopping, Pinterest uvm. läuft sehr effizient und nutzerfreundlich. Man kann alle Feeds auf dem ProductsUp eigenen Server hosten und es gibt zahlreiche weitere APIs, über die man das auch lösen kann, die von ProductsUp unterstützt werden. Der Support ist auch ausgesprochen freundlich und kompetent.

What did you not like?

Wenn zum Beispiel an einem Tag der Feed nicht mehr funktioniert, kann man nicht auf eine ältere Version zurückgreifen. Das wäre ein Feature, das so manche Outages verhindert hätte.

Mit ProductsUp können wir unsere massive Produktanzahl (über 4 Millionen) effektiv verwalten, sowohl für Marketing- als auch Website-Zwecke. Mit Bulk-Edits können sehr große Änderungen am Feed sehr effizient durchgeführt werden. Für die Feeds sind allerlei Regeln einstellbar, um den Feed nach den eigenen Wünschen zu konfigurieren.

Das Tool ist sehr breit aufgestellt, was Data-In und Data-Out angeht. Je nach Anforderungen lässt sich eigentlich alles auch individuell konfigurieren. Die Regelboxen sind sehr leicht verständlich, so dass jeder ohne IT-Knowhow seine eigenen Feeds zusammenstellen kann. Ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben ist der schnelle und sehr gute Support.

Eigentlich wird alles sehr gut abgedeckt. Was manchmal nicht so ersichtlich ist, welcher Service (Modul) im eigenen Vertrag enthalten ist (z. B. Data Services für Bilder, Marktplätze). Hier würde ich mir einen Hinweis im UI wünschen. Ebenso scheint es noch keine native Verknüpfung zu Teams für Benachrichtigungen zu geben, das würde helfen, um auf Fehler schneller aufmerksam zu werden.

Wir nutzen hauptsächlich die Plattform, um Produkinformationen aus verschiedenen Quellen zusammenzufügen und individuelle Feeds für unsere Marketingkanäle und andere externe Partner zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ein Vorteil ist, dass unsere IT nur einen primären Datenfeed oder Stream für das Online Marketing zur Verfügung stellen muss. Ebenso lassen sich im Tool Einstellungen schnell für andere Abnehmer kopieren, was viel Zeit erspart. Im Vergleich zum alten Setup über Dienstleister sparen wir auch viel Zeit bei der Fehleranalyse und deren Behebung.

Products Up bietet die Möglichkeit Felder per drag and drop zu verbinden. So lässt sich schnell und übersichtlich arbeiten. Auch der Support ist sehr hilfsbereit und ich konnte bisher jede Hürde mit ihnen meistern.

Baut man Products Up nicht selbst auf, dann ist es eher schwer einen Überblick zu bekommen. Zu Beginn ist das Tool eher ein Rätsel. Die Möglichkeiten, die man hat, werden nicht gleich klar. Speziell was Bedingungen angeht.

Die Feedhygiene lässt sich super managen. Products Up zeigt im Dashboard, ob Fehler im Upload / Download entstanden sind. Diese kann man sehr schnell beheben, da es auch ein Fehlerprotokoll gibt. Durch ProductsUp spare ich mir viel Zeit und habe eine zentrale Anlaufstelle für Feeds.

Es gibt viele Regulierungsmöglichkeiten für den Feed. Entweder man kann einzelne Spalten bearbeiten, dafür gibt es zahlreiche Boxen mit denen Einschränkungen/Verknüpfungen getätigt werden können oder man kann übergreifende Funktionen nutzen um Produkte auszuschließen oder anzupassen. Außerdem sind viele Plattformen vertreten, für die es schon blanko-Feeds gibt, die Einrichtung ist gut machbar.

Es sind so viele Funktionen, dass man den zeitweise Überblick verlieren kann. Manche "Probleme" lassen sich auf verschiedene Weisen lösen, dass man uU. ein bisschen suchen muss, bis man die Einstellung findet, die man bearbeiten möchte. Besonders latent in von anderen Personen erstellten Feeds.

Es ist ein dynamischer Feed, welcher laufend aktualisiert wird. So spart man sich die manuelle Arbeit die Produktliste bzw -Bestände zu pflegen. Außerdem funktioniert der Export wunderbar und wenn mal ein Problem auftritt, wird es erkannt und kann schnell behoben werden.

Feeds werden/können schnell angefertigt werden (spart Zeit). Vorteil ist auch die Kopie der fertigen Vorlagen für die Anwendung andere Marken. Filter/Boxen können schnell eingefügt und bearbeitet werden, Produkte können z.B. schnell aus den Feeds rausgenommen werden.

Es gibt unterschiedliche Ansichten von Data Flow bis Overview, was einen guten Überblick über alle Feeds gibt. Außerdem gibt es unterschiedliche Vorlagen für fast alle Werbepartner, sodass die Struktur übernommen werden kann. Products-Up bietet einen sehr guten Support, der bei allen Fragen weiterhelfen kann.

What did you not like?

Products Up ist verhältnismäßig teuer, jedes einzelne Land wird separat abgerechnet. Durch die vielen Funktionen ist das Interface sehr komplex und daher nicht immer intuitiv. Bei einem sehr großen Feed ist der Dataflow sehr unübersichtlich, wenn man nicht gleich filtern möchte.

Wir generieren über PU neue Felder wie die Google Category, die so über unser Masterfeed nicht übergeben wird sowie benutzerdefinierte Felder wie Marke etc. Außerdem selektieren wir über PU Produktkataloge für bspw. Facebook Anzeigen. Des weiteren nuten wir die Funktion "Bild über Bild" um unsere Produktbilder um Labels zu ergänzen.

Productsup ist mächtig - und das nicht zu knapp. In diesem Tool lassen sich (sobald man einmal den Überblick gewonnen hat) alle Regeln, die zur Erstellung eines Produktdatenfeeds nötig sind, einfach anlegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Support. Hat man mal eine Frage, dauert es keine 30 Minuten bis zur Antwort.

What did you not like?

Bis auf ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten (bspw. das verschieben eines Feeds in eine andere Kategorie) oder das einfach begrenzen von Produktkategorien in einem Feed gibt es hier nichts zu meckern. Ist aber auch schon sehr speziell.

Wir machen mit ProductsUp unseren gesamten Produktdatenfeed mit über 3 Millionen Produkten. Mit ihm versorgen wir alle relevanten Marketingkanäle mit dynamisch angepassten Regeln. Des weiteren nutzen wir ProductsUp seit kurzem zur Optimierung der Bilder in unserem Feed.

Das Tool ist ohne die Hilfe von Entwicklern einfach zu bedienen - die Drag & Drop Funktion ist schnell gelernt und führt auf einfachen Wegen zum gewünschten Resultat! Wir arbeiten viel mit dem Tool, um Ausschlussfunktionen für Produkte/Kategorien/Brands umzusetzen. Die übersichtliche Umsetzung dieses Prozesses via ROI-Strategie hilft uns im dynamischen Umfeld unseres Onlineshops zu bestehen. Darüber hinaus besticht das Tool mit den Warnungen zur Feedhygiene - durch Productsup konnten wir die Qualität unserer Feeds nachhaltig verbessern.

Es gibt enorm viele Bedienungsmöglichkeiten: viele Wege führen in dem Tool zum Ziel - wenn unterschiedliche Personen darin arbeiten, ist es teilweise unübersichtlich. Hier müssen klare Regeln festgelegt werden z.B. Ausschlüsse nur via ROI, nicht über die Boxen; obwohl beides zum Ziel führen würde. Darüber hinaus erfordert das Dashboard zur Feedhygiene eine genauere Einarbeitung + ist nicht besonders intuitiv.

A good choice of rules to apply for feed editing. Very logical flow of feed transformation. Ability to export different variations of feed with the same items at no extra cost. Ready feed templates for common marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook, etc.)

What did you not like?

Really not much to complain about. Sometimes there are long waiting times for the feed to reload after a rule was applied. You can see a sample data in the preview, but it takes a long time to see all the data updated.

Adjusting product feeds without the need of developer resources. Making customized feeds for every marketing channel. Applying image overlays for fast seasonal creatives updates.

What did you like?

- Rasche Feederstellung, vor allem mit allen Basicdaten zur weiteren Verarbeitung und Prüfung mit dem Marktplatz. Wenn man sich anfangs gut eingelernt hat - am Anfang ist es nämlich etwas erklärungsbedürftig. - Der Support ist relativ fix und hilfreich. Bei Problemen erhält man also relativ schnell auch eine Lösung. - Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Tool ist fair. Vor allem im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Tools.

- Feeds lassen sich nicht kopieren und danach erweitern, zumindest wenn man 2 Accounts hat. - Ich kann mir leider keinen Feed erstellen, der wie die Lagerbestandsdatei von Amazon aufgebaut ist. Dadurch muss ich die Inhalte erst downloaden, die Infos kopieren und in die Lagerbestandsdatei von Amazon einfügen und dann kann ich die Datei erst hochladen. Eine Vorlage speziell für Amazon wäre hilfreich. - Ich denke, dass aufgrund des zweiten Punktes auch kein automatischer Abgleich der Daten von Amazon und Productsup möglich ist. Das ist sehr schade, da viel manueller Aufwand gespart worden wäre dadurch.

- Durch das schnelle Erstellen eine Feeds können wir viel schneller Marktplätze anbinden. Der Content für die Marktplätze kann in null Komma nix gedownloadet und weiter verarbeitet werden. Das spart und viel Zeit. - Vor allem war es sehr aufwendig in der Vergangenheit die Marge für jedes Produkt in einem anderen Tool zu prüfen. Seit neuestem ist dies auch über Productsup möglich. Das hilft uns sehr weiter bei der Evaluierung der Produkte für die Marktplätze. - Da wir unsere Produkte selektiv verkaufen, ist die Erstellung von Black-Listen sehr hilfreich. Somit erhalten wir nur die Informationen von den Produkten, die wir für die jeweilige Plattform auch benötigen.

It has an intuitive interface and easy to explain when onboarding new users. Due to the its helpful Data View feature, we can easily explain and visualise to prospective users how the tool handles data across systems.

What did you not like?

Honestly, I have little to nothing critical to share about this tool. The support team is always helpful and quick to respond. The business unit is accommodating to our requests and provides updates on a regular basis.

Bei Neuanbindung zB oder bei historischen Accounts ist es extrem schwer, einen Überblick zu behalten. Es wird sehr schnell sehr übersichtlich und leider hat mir der Support in meinem Fall auch nicht wirklich helfen können, da er sich mit den speziellen Daten auch nicht wirklich auskante.

Really good support. Fast replies to any issue and good onboarding options. It simplifies considerable the complexity of our internal systems and it's easy to add new channels

What did you not like?

The UI could be improved to be more user friendly for someone without previous introduction to the tool. It doesn't show the specific contract limits on the billing information for the admin users

The flexibility it gives to adjust raw data in your feed based on the needs of each partner. Easy import/export function and connection is available with many platforms. I also find the 'data view' very useful.

What did you not like?

The ux design could be more simplistic. Also the capabilities of the tool are so many that it could be overwhelming. Better platform onboarding would be helpful.

Transforming data based on partners' needs. Filters/rules can be used to make quick changes in our feed which makes us independent from IT resources. Import/export schedule to many different partners.

Der Support und die Hilfe bei der Umsetzung von Ideen und Konzepten. Es gibt eine Vielfalt an Funktionen, die für jede Anwendung und jeden Fall eine Lösung zu bieten hat. Viele Schnittstellen und Feeds sind schon vorgefertigt und bereit für die direkte Nutzung.

Das Design und UI könnte an paar Stellen optimiert werden, da man sich erstmal zurechtfinden muss. Einige Funktionen sind unter Punkten versteckt, weshalb eine Lernkurve erforderlich ist.

We love the user interface, which is easy to understand and use. You see immediately what changes you have made. The large set of possibilities to manipulate data is very helpful. The tool can be used for different purposes and you quickly get something implemented that works. The support replies very quickly and helps with every question. The high availability of the tool helps us a lot in our daily work.

What did you not like?

The only thing I don't like is that it is not possible to schedule export channels individually, so that the export only takes place on a certain day at a certain time.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Our customers need our product data in many different formats (Excel, BMEcat, CSV, TXT,…) and we were able to handle all formats with ProductsUp. A major problem is the time-consuming manual post-processing for our customer-specific product data catalogs. The tool has helped us to significantly reduce this manual post-processing, as many of our post-processing can be automated in the tool. We also use the tool to automatically process information from sales in our exports. This enabled us to reduce internal expenses.

UI is very easy and intuitive, everything goes via clicks and filling settings, no coding needed. Many powerful functions can be used to load, manipulate and export data in endless ways. Their account and technical support teams are super fast, friendly and helpful, so we never experienced any long lasting bug fixing.s

What did you not like?

Unclear setup of the modules, packages and licenses, especially after some merge & aquisitions.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Our PIM system is storing lots of data but doesn't have easy ways to customize setting and exports for the business users, most of the things require system coding or settings which no user has rights nor knowledge. It is very difficult to make new export channel or to change something, and there is ProductsUp just a perfect solution. Now we have a big pool of marketing and IT users which are capable to make new channels very quickly and send data in various formats.

Wir nutzen die Plattform, um die Feeds von unseren 10 Marken in mehreren Ländern zu managen. So können wir den Masterfeed unterschiedlich & immer partnerpassend gestalten, um Maximus an Performance rauszuholen. Der Ausschluss der Produkte ist sehr übersichtlich und kann schnell vorgenommen werden. Wir nutzen Normalization Lists, um die Werte in solchen Spalten wie Color oder Size anzupassen. Boxen sind schnell & intuitiv anwendbar und die Änderung ist sofort sichtbar, so dass man checken kann, ob die zum gewünschten Resultat geführt hat.

By using additional data sources, we can easily integrate new attributes without extra development and use the data soon after it becomes available to us. One thing to highlight is the usability of ProductsUp - after some introduction, we can conduct most of the desired actions without support or external development. In case any support is needed after all, the response time is low and the help efficient and straight-forward.

What did you not like?

Delta-feed processing currently not possible which makes it impossible to process intra-day product updates in case something urgently needs to be changed.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We can bring our product data into different formats required by different sales channels. This way we can onboard more products and eventually generate higher sales.

What did you like?

It's easy to find any relevant data I need within seconds on the data view tab whilst also simultaneously allowing me to export the data required in a matter of seconds. Whilst having straight forward process to see where I'm getting my data from and where I am also sending it to I.E. third party tools such as GMC. Which then allows me to make any relevant changes needed to update our feeds for 3rd party tools.

What did you not like?

It would be great if I could have a log of when changes were made and who they were made by allowing us to back track effectively without having to create a external way of monitoring this.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Updating any new optimisations across all feeds, this can entail updating the title, product description, product type etc so this will all allow us rank higher in search engines for our GMC feeds. We also use Productsup to categorise our products more effectively on our site so we can improve our customers journeys.

- We have sometimes problems with the Akeneo API connection. Since this API connection is enormously important for us, we hope for an improved Akeneo API connection

What did you like?

With ProductsUp I'm managing over 1.5 Mio products and over 60 channels for 6 countries. The tool is very intuitive and easy to use. You get amazing support from ProductsUp: Whenever you have a question their support resolves it in a few hours. Most of all I like the image designer: You can create great Dynamic Ads adding dynamic values to your Creatives (Price, Sale Price etc)

What did you not like?

It is rather the Mercedes among the feed management tools. It's a good tool but it is also expensive.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

With ProductsUp I'm managing over 1.5 Mio products and over 60 channels for 6 countries. I use ProductsUp for almost all Performance Marketing channels. We're saving developer resources and are much faster when it comes to bringing new channels live.

What did you like?

There are several things why we as a company prefer ProductsUp: - A dedicated designer tool to create custom designs for each marketing platform. (Creatives for Meta look different with it than with Google Ads). - Once the master feed has been created and connected via API, the rest is very easy. Feeds can be conveniently exported to the respective marketing platforms - The support is also extremely good! You get help within a day. That's how it should be!

What did you not like?

The initial outlay is somewhat confusing. This could be made more user-friendly.

We use ProductsUp as a feed management tool to get our product feed to the individual marketing platforms, for example Meta, Google Ads, Criteo and so on.

Durch Productsup ist es uns möglich unsere Feeds kurzerhand so anzupassen, dass wir diese für alle Plattformen und Partner nutzen können. Das Interface ist sehr intuitiv und man kann sich schnell einarbeiten und eigenständig Anpassungen vornehmen. Zusätzlich ist es möglich einen Managed Service zu buchen.

What did you not like?

Die Vertragsverhandlungen zeigen sich leider immer als sehr schwierig und man hat nicht das Gefühl partnerschaftlich behandelt zu werden. Zusätzlich haben wir das Gefühl, dass es an internen Absprachen mangelt und sobald man einen neuen Ansprechpartner hat alte Angebote nicht mehr gelten.

Productsup ist einfach zu bedienen und erlaubt es komplizierte und informationsreiche Daten-Feeds unkompliziert hochzuladen. Nach einer kurzen Einführung und mit passender Anleitung erklärt sich der Aufbau recht schnell und logisch. Ohne großes technisches Verständnis lässt es sich trotzdem gut nutzen, was die tägliche Arbeit mit Product-Feeds auch für mich als Quereinsteiger zu einer einfachen Arbeit gemacht hat. Bisher konnte ich das Produkt ohne große Hilfe und ohne Support nutzen.

What did you not like?

Man braucht ein wenig, um sich in das Produkt reinzudenken. Es wirkt auf den ersten Blick jedoch komplizierter als es am Ende ist. Mit einer passenden Step-by-Step Anleitung kommt man dann auch klar.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Ich kann strukturiert einen Datenfeed auf unserer Webseite integrieren, ohne etwas zu vergessen. Als Quereinsteiger hier ohne Hilfe des Produkts unterwegs zu sein wäre die absolute Hölle.

Beim ersten Blick auf Productsup dachte ich, ich würde dieses Tool niemals verstehen, doch schnell merkt man, wie übersichtlich und logisch doch alles ist. Productsup hat wirklich unzählige Möglichkeiten, Feeds anzupassen und Regeln zu schreiben - das herausragendste ist allerdings der Support. Für in Coding nicht so fitte menschen wie mich ist der Support super wertvoll, weil er nicht nur mit guten Ideen hilft, sondern das richtige Stückchen Code direkt mitliefert.

What did you not like?

Bislang ist mir nichts negativ aufgefallen. Die Runs dauern ab und zu etwas sehr lange, das macht das System sehr träge, aber wir pflegen auch eine riesige Menge an Daten hier drin.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir pflegen unsere Feeds für unterschiedlichste Marketingkanäle und Marktplätze (Länder) in Productsup. Vorteil ist, dass ich einen Input Feed zu mehreren Outputs wandeln kann und hier auf diverse smarte Logiken zurückgreifen kann, sodass beinahe alles in Bulk-Prozessen durchläuft.

Das absolut beste Feature von Productsup ist das einfache Pushen deines Product Feeds an alle Netzwerke bei denen du deinen Product Feed hinterlegt haben willst (zum Beispiel Google Shopping / Meta / Snapchat / DSPs). Für jeden der einzelnen Partner kann man dann einen "Tailor Made" Feed erstellen der allen Spezifikationen entspricht. Nimmt unglaublich viel Arbeit ab.

What did you not like?

Der Preis und die Verhandlungswilligkeit von Products Up ist sehr entäusschend. Es gibt sehr viele kleinere Competitors, die fast das selbe level an Funktionalität aufgebaut haben, zu einem Burchteil der Kosten. Auch der Kundenservice / Helpline war anfangs weder freundlich noch hilfreich (noch schnell)

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir hatten immer Probleme unseren Product Feed durch unser BI Team anpassen zu lassen oder manuell Titel zu entfernen. Wir sind dann vor ein paar Jahren auf die Productsup Lösung mit einem Basefeed der nur noch automatisiert täglich geupdated wird und Exkludierung von Titlen und alle weitere Feed manipulation nur noch über Productup User Interface gemacht wird. Das kann man sehr schön einfach und Intuitiv für alle unterschiedlichen angebundenen Plattformen machen

Wir benutzen Productsup für unsere Feeds und wir haben viele Kanäle zu pflegen! Das ist alles dank Productsup sehr einfach. Mit den verschiedenen Regeln können wir unsere Feeds so bauen, dass sie zu jedem Kanal passen und die Ziele erreichen.

Das Tool kann man kaum ohne Einarbeitung benutzen. Als ich das erste Mal vor Productsup saß, dachte ich mir: Es wird schwierig. Nach einer guten Einarbeitung bekommt man den Überblick und man kann seine eigenen Feeds ganz einfach selbst (um)bauen.

Für bestimmte Kanäle müssen wir bestimmte Regeln erstellen, um die Kategorie/Produkte zu filtern. Mit Productsup ist es leicht gemacht, sodass wir dann immer das passende Feed zu jedem Kanal haben. Was aber wirklich spannend ist: Sobald ein Kanal von seinem Ziel abweicht, können wir die Feeds leicht & schnell anpassen und die Performance anheben. Es ist also einfach neue Kategorie/Produkte in die Feeds reinzunehmen als die auszusortieren.

Gut strukturierte Oberfläche mit vielen Funktionen. Es können viele Shopping-Plattformen, Shopsysteme, Produkt-Informationssyteme, Trackingtools, Cloud-Dienste sowie Marktplatz-Bestellungen direkt als "Data Source" angeschlossen werden. Im Bereich der Feed-Erstellung ("Data Flow") gibt es sehr viele vorgefertigte Operatoren und Autoboxen, um Import- sowie Intermediate-Spalten mit den Exportfeldern zu verknüpfen und entsprechend den Feedspezifikationen hinzudeichseln.

What did you not like?

Die Anbindung an die amazon API ist rudimentär, musste in einem langwierigen Prozess angepasst werden, damit es tatsächlich vollautomatisch abläuft. Teilweise längere Ladezeiten im Dataflow (Aufbereitung für den Export), die sich störend auf den Arbeitsfluss auswirken.

Products Up bietet am Markt mit die meisten Features, den Feed im nachhinein zu bearbeiten und auf die jeweilige Platform, wo man ihn hinpushen möchte, anzupassen. Besonders bei Facebook mit vielen Einschränkungen und einem großen Produktkatalog, hat uns das viel Arbeit im BI Team erspart, dort die Feeds aus der ATL Query anzupassen.

What did you not like?

Das Pricing und Verhandlungen sind unter aller Kanone. Es gibt nur Jährliche Verträge, zu schlechten Konditionen. Am Markt, die teuerste Lösung.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir nutzen ProduktsUp im Marketing um an die gängingen Ad Netzwerke (Affiliate / Google / Facebook / Snapchat / ...) unseren Produktfeed zu schicken, SKUs auszusortieren, Sales zu schalten. Der größte Nutzen ist das einmalige hochladen des Feeds, welcher dann auf jede Platform innerhalb Products Up einzeln angepasst werden kann. So werden die BI und Marketing Teams entlastet nicht 10 Feeds zu erstellen, hochzuladen und zu pflegen, sondern einen Master Feed. Das Anpassen des Masterfeeds in Products ist dabei so granular und flexibel möglich, dass wir dieMaster Feed ATL Query bisher nicht anpassen mussten. Top.

Feederstellung für jeden Kanal möglich und einfach zu verknüpfen. Feeds sind duplizierbar und ermöglichen jegliche Produktdaten miteinander zu verknüpfen oder Regeln aufzustellen, die je nach Kanal unterschiedlich sind

Ich bin in der Lage mit ProductsUp Feeds für Shopping und FB/Instagram zu erstellen. Den FB Designer für Social Kampagnen zu nutzen ist sehr Vorteilhaft und einfach kreative Ads schalten zu können. Der größte Vorteil für mich ist, dass ich durch die RegelBoxen für jeden notwendigen Use Case eine Lösung erstellen kann.
