Wir nutzen den Google Authentificator bereits seit vielen Jahren und für diverse Tools. Während der Benutzung hatten wir mit dem Programm keinerlei Probleme.

Mir und meinem Team sind aktuell keinerlei Probleme bekannt. Der Google Authentificator läuft reibungslos.

Der Google Authentificator löst das Problem der 2 Faktor Authentifizierung sehr einfach. Sobald ein Authentificator verlangt wird nutze ich generell den von Google.

What did you like?
Ein sehr einfach gehaltenes Tool, um sich bei Google Anwendungen zu identifizieren. Durch diese Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung ist eine höhere Sicherheit geboten - die Anmeldung für jedes Konto muss dabei nur einmal erfolgen. Die App funktioniert auch ohne Internetverbindung.
What did you not like?
30 Sekunden für den Code sind recht kurz. Teilweise sieht man, dass der Code in Kürze ablaufen wird und muss davor bereits auf den nächsten warten. Oder man wird genau nicht fertig und dann von vorne beginnen.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Mit der App kann ein sicherer Zugriff auf die Konten gewährleistet werden. Zudem können mehrere Mitarbeiter die App runterladen und selbstständig den Login durchführen - bei einer SMS könnte dies immer nur auf eine hinterlegte Handynummer erfolgen. Durch die App ist man nicht mehr nur auf ein Gerät angewiesen.
