What did you like?
Da ich bereits Erfahrung mit Check Point NGFW hatte, war es für mich ein Leichtes, CloudGuard IaaS anzupassen. Im Grunde hat diese Lösung die gleiche Architektur und die gleichen Komponenten wie NGFW. Wenn man sie also in der Cloud einsetzt, fühlt es sich so an, als würde man nur ein weiteres Rechenzentrum des Unternehmens verwalten. Sie verfügt auch über eine Reihe von Cloud-Supporteinrichtungen, aber im Moment verwenden wir sie nur auf der Google Cloud Platform.
What did you not like?
Wie bei anderen Lösungen dieser Art müssen Sie die grundlegende Cloud-Firewall und die Routen für die VPC außerhalb von CloudGuard IaaS verwalten - es gibt keine 100%ige Integration, wenn Sie sich Sorgen machen.
Which problems are you solving with the product?
Hauptanwendung - Schutz unserer Cloud-Assets, die auf Google Cloud Platform bereitgestellt werden - Firewall und Intrusion Prevention Blades. Außerdem verlassen wir uns auf das GeoIP-Modul, um unerwünschten Ländern den Zugriff auf unsere Dienste zu verwehren (derzeit kann man das mit der GCP-Firewall nicht erreichen).
