What did you like?

The key drivers to introduce Emburse Cards (EC) were: unified cash spend control (budget based), no need to carry physical cash, online bookings & deposit payments, card name generalised (not individual names) - can be handed to another user and ownership re-assigned, so no need to cancel the card and order a new one.

What did you not like?

Not EC falt, but impacted rollout - Royal Mail strikes and delivery delays. Shippment cannot be tracked, so we don’t know where the missing cards are. Not all EC declined transactions are clear as to why transaction has been declined. The start to end implementation was not coordinated properly (we’re still WIP a month later).

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Cash control whilst allowing more flexibility (no physical cash to carry). Digitalising the spend and receipt submission. Utilising exising system more (already CR Expense users).

What did you like?

Das einfache Handling und die Benutzeroberfläche.Dabei auch die Integration in Chrome sehr einfach realisiert und zum Nutzen konfiguruerbar. Hatten eine Testinstallation, um den Leistungsumfang zu checken. Kann man nur empfehlen zur Nutzung mit Chrome.

Nichts, ist echt super geregelt, Es ist für die gewählte Zielgruppe ein hilfreiches Too.

Die Arbeit wird durch die vorhandenen Makros deutlich vereinfacht. Schnelle Abwicklung. Einfached Handling.

What did you like?

ChromeRiver bietet eine geräteunabhänige Erfassung der Belege - also auch schon während der Reise. Die Bedienung ist einfach und weitestgehend selbsterklärend. Eine teilweise automatische Erfassung(OCR erkennt teilweise Beträge und Kostenart sowie Voreinstellung der Steuersätze möglich) spart Zeit. Der Genehmigungs-Workflow ist weitgehend automatisiert.

What did you not like?

Handbuch und Support sind nicht in deutscher sondern ausschliesslich in englischer Sprache. Das Reporting wird über das nicht sehr einfach bedienbare Tool Analytics gesteuert.

wir haben unseren manuellen Prozeß und die damit verbundenen Excel-Tabellen abgelöst. Dadurch haben wir eine Zeitersparnis sowohl bei der Erfassung als auch bei der automatischen Verbuchung.

What did you like?

Das Tool ist intuitiv und relativ schnell nutzbar. Anpassungsmöglichkeiten sind gut. SAP Knowledge ist meines Erachtens sehr gut und könnte bei idealen Vorraussetzungen zu einer schnellen Integration führen.

What did you not like?

Organisation könnte besser sein. Teilweise muss man doch sehr aufpassen was, wann und wie bearbeitet wird. Teilweise sind keine klaren Struktur in der Bearbeitung zu erkennen was dazu führt, Ressourcen im Projektteam freizumachen.

Wir rollen CR über alle unsere Länder aus was uns einen digitalen Abrechnungsprozess, Einsicht in unser spend bringt und (hoffentlich) die User experince deutlich verbessern wird.

We can build it to fit our needs, evoke our policies and guide our users to submit a correct report the first time. Line Item and Submit Compliance Rules and Violations help guide our users start to finish.

What did you not like?

It is not always easy to know to find a report that you did not initiate, this can make it challenging to support your area(s).

Which problems are you solving with the product?

We had a paper intensive home grown application that was cumbersome and could take weeks from start to payment. With Chrome River by Emburse some of our users have reported submitting their report and receiving their payment notification the SAME DAY!

Aus der Sicht des Reisenden gefällt mir wie einfach und schnell eine Abrechnung erstellt werden kann. Inklusive der über unser TMC gebuchten Reisen und die Ausgaben mit Firmenkreditkarte.

What did you not like?

Nicht alle Produkte sind in Deutschland verfügbar. Das ist so ziemlich alles was ich bemängeln kann.

Durch die Einführung von Chrome River wurde der gesamte Abrechnungsprozess beschleunigt und vereinfacht. Obwohl wir relativ komplizierte Prozesse und Regelungen haben, wurden diese anstandslos umgesetzt.

Chrome River ist eine wirklich globale Lösung. Zusammen mit Cytric Travel haben wir einen globalen End-to-End-Prozess vom Reiseantrag bis zur Zahlung an den Mitarbeiter, der so weit, wie möglich, automatisiert ist.

What did you not like?

Die Compliance mit den legalen Anforderungen in manchen europäischen Ländern ist nicht sofort verfügbar, selbst wenn dort Chrome River bereits eingeführt ist. Es ist zeitaufwändig und muss für jedes Unternehmen erneut entwickelt werden. Hier gibt es Verbesserungspotential.

Wir haben in vielen Ländern den manuellen Prozess abgelöst bzw. in anderen Ländern, das vorhandene Expense Tool abgelöst. Nun haben wir weltweit einen harmonisierten, globalen End-to-End-Prozess mit Cytric Travel und Chrome River, sowie Kreditkarten-Feeds von Citibank.

What did you like?

Für die Erfassung von Reisekosten sind Buttons mit aussagekräftigen Bildern vorhanden, dies garantiert einen hohern Wiedererkennungswert für die User. Das Tool lässte sich einfach sowohl am Laptop, aber auch am tablet oder handy bedienen. Die Fotoapp macht es den Usern einfach Belege zu erfassen, da diese automatisch in den eigenen Account geladen werden. Als Admin hat man selber viele Gestatungsmöglichkeiten und kann seinen Kolleg:innen bestmöglich helfen.

What did you not like?

Es ist schade, dass der support nur auf englisch ist, wenn man nach dem Go-Live noch mal Hilfe benötigt oder sich Fehler eingeschlichen haben.

Wir haben unsere Reisekostenabrechnung komplett digitalisiert, eine sehr große Hilfe, welche viel Zeit und natürlich auch Porto und Papier spart.

Ease of use. How responsive and knowledgable the team are, always helpful and willing to help out and assist. Nothing is too onerous for them to assist with.

What did you not like?

Nothing of significant note. But perhaps the length of time it took us to get the project up and running, integration issues, but this was largely on our side.

Befits are accurate bills being delivered, and paid for in an efficient and timely manner, mean more profitability for the firm.
