Marcus Wolter, born in 1968 in Hamburg, is co-founder, shareholder, and CEO of Germany’s largest independent entertainment producer. In August 2018, the television producer and media entrepreneur founded Banijay Germany together with the Paris-based Banijay Group. Under his leadership, Banijay Germany integrated the entertainment producer Endemol Shine Germany in July 2020, expanding the company to become the market leader in Germany with a revenue of over 250 million euros. Wolter holds a 10 percent stake in the company.
