We are looking to fill the role of Social Media Content Strategist to join our Employer Branding team in Essen. You will work with our colleagues around the world on global and local social media content, reporting into the Head of HR Social Media. The role is ideal for a Social Media Strategist wanting to join a dynamic team, striving to deliver best in class social from an employer branding perspective.

  • As part of the team, you will work with our colleagues around the world on global and local employer branding and recruitment marketing content, looking after the planning, development and implementation, and day to day management of organic and paid social
  • You’ll develop great relationships across the company to become their key contact for social media, so you should have a genuine interest in keeping up with industry trends and identify new opportunities in innovative social strategies
  • You’ll ensure social is in line with our employer brand and communication strategy. You will need to build good relationships with external agencies as well as internal teams, working well with energy, drive, and a positive attitude
  • You’ll monitor and moderate our social channels and respond to questions and comments from the online community

Your powerful skills

  • Several years of experience working in social media, preferably in a media agency/fast-pace environment
  • A proven record of creating social content across a variety of channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook)
  • Experience working in social media within the employer brand and recruitment marketing space is of particular interest to us
  • Ability to understand business requirements and create proposals to meet their objectives to maximise value for the company
  • Ability to manage your workload effectively to switch between projects and often manage multiple topics at once
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, being able to liaise with other stakeholders to produce the best possible results
  • A degree in Marketing or Advertising is preferable

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Experience in developing and managing organic and paid campaigns
  • Experience with planning content for Glassdoor, Indeed and/or YouTube
  • Ability and interest in content production (e.g., photography and videography)
