Your responsibility 

• Design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines for the cloud-based analytics platform of hessnatur
• Collaborate closely with our Data Scientists, Product Managers & Business Analysts
• Champion data literacy within the organization and drive adoption rates of the data solutions the team has built
• End-to-end responsibility of all our data projects with the focus on building scalable and cloud ready software solutions in our GCP environment
• Steering of development teams which build data solutions e.g. data warehouses, machine learning applications and outbound integration

Your profile 

• 3+ years of experience in cloud-native software or data engineering with previous experience designing, developing and maintaining large scale data infrastructures
• An analytical mindset and solid coding skills in SQL and Python – with a focus on clean, readable, versioned (e.g. GIT) and maintainable code
• Experienced in orchestration tools (airflow) and development frameworks (DBT, dataform)
• Project management skills to steer and monitor progress and costs
• A passion for technology and a quick learner who keeps up-to-date with industry trends
• The ability to drive and own infrastructure and data products
