Performance Marketing Manager (m/w/d)
Position overview
Saas.group is the sort of company where other companies feel safe. Currently nurturing 7 startups (sniply.io, juicer.io, prerender.io, deploybot.com, git-tower.com, rewardful.com, pipelinecrm.com), we are determined to provide a full spectre of services to help these companies reach their full potential. One very crucial service we provide to our ventures is marketing and growth.
That’s where you come in: We are looking for a passionate and curious candidate with a high affinity and experience in performance marketing to support our ventures with all sorts of paid ad related projects. These can vary from Google Ads over Facebook and LinkedIn Ads to Affiliate and saas specific marketing tactics. You will receive guidance from our CMOs and act at the interaction point between the growing group organization and the scaling saas businesses.
As a key player in our central marketing department you will receive guidance from our CMOs but are requested to also bring up new and own ideas to optimize paid ad campaigns across our businesses. While having a strong focus on paid ads you will also have the chance to work on interdisciplinary projects with other marketing team members or related departments like our product growth team.
If you work in performance marketing (ideally for a saas company) and want to double down on this by stepping up and growing into this expert role you would be the perfect candidate.
Company information
Saas.group was founded in 2017 with a simple goal in mind: to help small companies reach their full potential. We looked at what made private equity firms and other common routes so maddening, and worked backward, simplifying every step. The result has been founders and teams who are happy with the process and relieved to see their SaaS business in a great home for the long term. Sounds great, right? Let’s make it even better!
Your responsibilities
- Google Ads: You will be responsible to manage our Google Ads accounts across businesses. For some business you will be required to set up a complete new account structure and proper tracking. For others you will work with an already existing setup and instead optimize the campaigns in terms of keywords, ad copies, sitelinks, bidding etc. while always having ROAS goals and other performance KPIs in mind.
- Facebook Ads: Facebook continues to be a strong lead generation channel for us, so you will be required to set up paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram with all its excitement and frustration. If you ran campaigns on Facebook in the past you know what we are referring to. Of course, ad performance will only be as good as the landing pages. Therefore your work will also include creating and optimizing highly converting landing pages using landing page builders.
- Tracking & Attribution: Despite having tracking & attribution in place, there will always be room for improvement or the need to counteract new regulatory limitations. Therefore, you will be a key player to enhance and maintain our tracking, attribution and reporting infrastructure, so we will be able to quickly identify opportunities for scale or campaigns to be stopped/adjusted.
- Identify new paid ad channels: You will be responsible to check out and evaluate yet untested paid ad channels like LinkedIn, Twitter or Reddit. Once successfully tested a quick rollout to other businesses within saas.group will be crucial.
- Special Projects: You’ll take over ownership and responsibility for special marketing projects and strive them to success (e.g. set up and execute a strategy for review pages like G2 or OMR Reviews)
What you bring to the table
- You have 2-3 years of experience in performance marketing, ideally for a b2b company within the SaaS or software industry
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology/software companies. Extra points if you already have relevant experience within the tech startup ecosystem (be it as a startup employee or at an online marketing agency).
- You are a fast learner with a high level of initiative and great analytical skills.
- You are well organized, you know how to prioritize tasks, and you get things done.
- You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
- You feel comfortable working in a remote-first setup.
What we offer
- Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. European time zone preferred.
- Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of independence to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
- Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
- Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
- Unlimited paid time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.
